ShoreExcursioneer Cautionary Tale: Don't Let This Company Ruin Your Trip - Do Your Research!

I gotta tell ya, givin' this company your hard-earned cash might just mess up your whole trip, ya know? They'll snatch up your money real quick, but there ain't no guarantee that the fancy excursion you booked will actually be waitin' for ya when ya finally arrive. It's a real bummer, man. So, lemme give ya a piece of advice: don't let this company ruin your whole dang trip, alright? Do yourself a favor and do some more research on the good ol' web before ya go trustin' 'em blindly. Trust me, there's a whole lotta folks out there who've had some real bad experiences with 'em. I mean, seriously, why in the world do they have so many good reviews here? It just don't add up, ya know? So, take my word for it and be careful with these guys.

ShoreExcursioneer Disastrous Experience at Hotel Cozumel and Resort: False Promises, Freezing Pool, Unappetizing Food

We tried out this service on our latest cruise, and we decided to book a day at the Hotel Cozumel and Resort. They made big promises about a massive pool, access to the beach, and delicious food and drinks. But let me tell you, it was a complete disaster.

First of all, the pool was not just cold, it was icy cold! I couldn't even dip my toe in without feeling like I was going to freeze. And as for beach access, forget about it unless you happen to be a scuba diver. They didn't mention that little detail when we made the booking.

Now let's talk about the food. It was downright unappetizing. I couldn't even recognize half of the dishes they served. And don't get me started on the drinks. They had these unfamiliar liquor bottles that made me question what I was actually consuming.

To make matters worse, we only stayed for a measly 45 minutes, but we had paid well over $100 for this experience. Can you believe it? And when we tried to voice our concerns, all we got were excuses from the booking site. They didn't take any responsibility for the false promises they had made.

Overall, I would not recommend using this service. Our experience at the Hotel Cozumel and Resort was a huge letdown, and we felt like we wasted our time and money. Save yourself the disappointment and find a better option for your cruise excursions.

ShoreExcursioneer Warning: ShoreExcursioneer - Unconfirmed Booking, Hidden Availability, and Money Wasted

I gotta tell ya, I had a bit of a rough experience with this company called ShoreExcursioneer. So, get this, I went ahead and made a booking with them, right? They went ahead and took my money, no questions asked. Now, here's the kicker - they said they would confirm the booking, but guess what? They hadn't even confirmed it yet! Can you believe that?

To make matters worse, this tour I booked wasn't even available for next year. So, not only did they take my hard-earned 200 AUD, but they also didn't bother to mention that this tour wasn't even up for grabs yet. Talk about frustrating, am I right?

Now, let's talk about the money situation. Since the tour was in USD, I had to deal with all these extra fees and exchange rates when my money got converted. And guess what? I don't get any of that back! Can you believe the nerve of these guys? Taking money for a tour that ain't even available yet and leaving me out of pocket. It's just not right, I tell ya.

So, my advice to you is to be extra careful when booking with ShoreExcursioneer. Don't let them pull a fast one on ya like they did to me. Keep your eyes peeled and make sure you're not throwing your money away for a tour that's not even on the table yet. Trust me, you don't wanna end up like me - frustrated and out of pocket.

ShoreExcursioneer Disappointing Experience with ShoreExcursioneer: No Pick Up, No Refund, Total Letdown

I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend booking your excursion with ShoreExcursioneer. We thought we were being smart by choosing this "company," but boy were we wrong. They gave us some pick up instructions, which we dutifully put into Google. But when we got to the pick up spot, nobody was there. I tried calling the numbers they provided, but no one answered. It was a total bummer, man. We never got to go on our trip!

Finally, after what felt like forever, we managed to get in touch with someone from ShoreExcursioneer. And you know what they said? They basically blamed us for everything and refused to give us a refund. Can you believe that? Talk about a major letdown. So, do yourself a solid and book with a reputable company, even if it means shelling out a bit more cash. At least then you'll actually get to go on your trip, ya know?

ShoreExcursioneer Warning: Terrible Experience with Shore Excursioneer - Non-existent Customer Service and Failed Delivery

I gotta say, if I could give ShoreExcursioneer no stars, I totally would. Seriously, folks, you gotta watch out when dealing with these guys. They straight up didn't deliver what we paid for, and their customer service? Non-existent, my friends. Let me tell you about our experience.

So, we had booked a private fishing charter for our cruise stop in Cozumel. We were all excited and ready to go, you know? We even got to the meeting spot a whole 40 minutes early, just to be on the safe side. But guess what? We waited and waited, and nobody showed up. The instructions said someone from the boat would find us, but nope, nada. So, one of us decided to go look for the boat, but man, there were like a gazillion boats out there, and we couldn't find the right one.

After 15 minutes past the meeting time, we were like, "Okay, enough is enough." We called up Shore Excursioneer, and let me tell you, it was a whole ordeal. We were put on hold for what felt like forever, and they had the nerve to ask us to walk up and down a bunch of docks again. Like, seriously? We finally got through to them after 30 minutes, and you know what they said? They said, "Oops, sorry, the boat got double booked and left with another group." Can you believe it? Our whole day was ruined, and they didn't even offer to help us find another excursion.

When we got back home, I sent them not one, not two, but three emails asking for a refund of the $750 we paid. I also wanted an explanation of what the heck happened and reimbursement for our taxi rides to and from the fishing pier. And you know what? They never bothered to respond. Can you believe the audacity?

Finally, I managed to get through to them using the chat feature on their website. They did refund our money pretty quickly, I'll give 'em that. But when it came to reimbursing us for the taxi rides, they were all like, "We need receipts, man." Like, seriously? Who keeps receipts from a cab in Mexico? That's just plain dumb. If I were running this company, I would've just coughed up the $40 as a gesture of goodwill. But no, they offered us a measly $100 credit, but get this, it was only valid for the same fishing boat in Cozumel. Like, who in their right mind would go back to Cozumel and book with the same company or boat after this mess? No one, that's who.

And you know what's the worst part? They never even bothered to explain how this whole mess happened. Talk about leaving us hanging, right?

So, here's the deal, folks. Buyer beware. We ain't ever gonna book through Shore Excursioneer again, and we strongly advise y'all to proceed with caution. Trust me, you don't wanna go through what we went through.

ShoreExcursioneer Misleading and Disappointing Experience with ShoreExcursioneer.com

A few families, including ours, had planned a Scandinavia cruise at the end of June 2019, and we were super excited to visit the beautiful Norwegian countries. We stumbled upon this website called shoreexcursioneer.com, and let me tell you, it looked pretty darn good. All the information they presented made us believe that it would be a piece of cake to use and that it would sync up perfectly with our port logistics. But boy, were we in for a surprise!

Right from the get-go, at our first port in Brugge, we couldn't find a soul who knew anything about how to get to the Hop on/hop off to Belgium. We asked around, and guess what? Turns out it was a whopping 75 miles away, and there was no way we could use those hop on/off tickets with our limited time. Talk about feeling helpless!

We did try to find out about the port transfer information, but let me tell you, it was like pulling teeth. I had to ask, and guess what? It wasn't even included in the ticket package information that we had to print out and read. Can you believe that? All the printed information didn't have a single detail about the port, especially Brugge. Now, in my humble opinion, that's just plain misleading. They should have included all the nitty-gritty details in the ticketing information so that us customers could plan better. But no, they left us hanging.

So, we ended up not using those hop on/off tickets in Belgium, and we decided to ask shoreexcursioneers for a refund. But guess what? They denied us! Can you believe that? They said that in one of the email threads, they included a map and some information about the self-arranged transportation from Brugge to Belgium, which was a whopping 2.5 hours away. Now, let me tell you, logistically speaking, there was no way we could have used those tickets. But they didn't care. They just denied our refund request like it was no big deal.

Now, here's the thing. The website is designed in such a way that it makes you believe that all the port logistics and excursions are perfectly coordinated for a smooth and convenient experience. But let me tell you, that's far from the truth. When I showed the printed one-page ticket to the folks at the port in Brugge, they looked at me like I was speaking a different language. They had never even heard of this company! Can you believe it? We expected them to be in the loop and give us an honest answer about the challenges we were facing, considering they work closely with the cruise itinerary. But no, they left us high and dry.

I was beyond disappointed when they denied our refund request. We felt so hopeless and helpless at the Brugge port of call. It was a real bummer, let me tell you.

So, let me just say this. If you're thinking of using shoreexcursioneers.com for any excursion plans, please, please, ask them ALL the questions. Keep a record of everything and make sure you're well aware of the time, logistics, connections, transfers, and maps because they won't be included in the ticket. Nope, the ticket itself only has the bare minimum of information.

In my humble opinion, they should include all the necessary information, disclose everything, provide maps, and anything else that can help travelers have a smooth and pleasant experience. It's only fair, don't you think?
