Downloaded the app because i saw it works with ethos on its website. Read some reviews didnt really consider them until i started messing with the app. Was considering dropping 2k but not anymore the app freezes alot for no reason. The fact that I downloaded it but it keeps freezing is stupid developers have to look into this and actually do something. Once that is fixed i will forsure drop money in this app but that has to be fixed asap. My wifi and overall connection is strong. Has alot of potential due to the amount of coins it has on its platform hopefully developers take the app more seriously so i can drop money.

I assume this project is slowly dying? The app name is totally different than what it says it should be on the website, and all it does it force me to change my password but then it rejects any passwords I give it. I started with 32 random characters first. Then I removed all but one symbol, then I tried length 20, then length 8, I tried removing the numbers. No matter what it says error changing password: password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least 1 symbol. Well, every single one of the passwords I tried matched that description. This used to be a great app, but its been unusable for a while now.

I had this for a while now, heres is the truth, if you understand crypto trading you will stay away from it. If you don’t understand crypto trading then you will get it as a fool, you will see, and here’s why?:
1) gas fee are only though ethereum ( you have to own ethereum before any trading you do.

2) gas fees are extremely expensive to trade about .044000 eth to trade about 450 fox in other words you need $120 worth of eth to trade $160 worth of fox

3) they fool you in the way that you get rewarded in FOX for every trade but as I said before it cost way more to trade it to other assets

I’m literally leaving it today, I just hated the fact the administration fails to see that.

I was interested in finding out more about FOX tokens. I’ve been trying to setup an account for 30 minutes just to be told “Google sign in is not supported at this time” but I’m not signing in with google?

Nonetheless, after reading other reviews (and how those cases were handled) there’s not a chance I will use this platform. There’s at least a dozen or more people saying they are having verification issues similar to mine.

If you have to “Contact Support” to simply create an account, or to fix a broken link, that is a security flaw in itself. I see multiple single points of failure here, I would stay FAR FAR away from these Dev’s/ this App.

Good thing I didn’t delete my Coinbase and Binance.US accounts!

Yes Sir Reeee... 1984 is in full swing especially with ShapeShift’s Newspeak. “No KYC” which is the total opposite. Your IP must first will be recorded, so a VPN for the most part will not work. Wait for it because it gets so much better. Then an email verification. Then your first and last name, address, birthday. Ohhh this is kids stuff still. Then they want your drivers license front and back... wait for it. Then your voice print...wait for it then a video of your face and of course your visa/master card to boot.
So for all you tin foil hatters out there hoping for “No KYC” then your going to have to develop it for the rest of the ones who value ‘true’ privacy.
When you decide to make something of great value, I and others will be sure to tip you handsomely.

They’re Immediately trying to aggressively get u to sign up for a multitude of they're subscriptions! This app never even gave me an opportunity to become familiar with what they’re crypto-platform had to offer before scaring me off with continuous conditional ads to immediately subscribe to them! I graciously grant you 5 outta 5 stars for aggressive sales & marketing techniques... but 0 outta 5 on the human element...u have a lot to learn!
Immediately, upon loading your app, they throw subscription ads in our face, to the point where we cannot even explore what you simply have to offer! I was overwhelmed with your ads and immediately exited out and removed the app from my iOS!

I’m sure they’re are people out there that are okay with these kinda aggravatingly aggressive sales tactics...but please count me out!

Let me say potential is boundless here BUT it “seems” they just want to make a buck during the crypto pops.

-App is designed well on the front end but lags almost everywhere else.

-mentioned by many; freezes up and needs to be quit.

-those fees though! Really?

-customer service lags much like the app.

-was signed out of my account and can’t get back in. Have my needed information but a Rep told me it’s gone forever, Eva Eva. Doubt that. Quite sure I will retrieve my minor chunk of coins there.

-reps are hit or miss. They aren’t even on the same page. One tells me they are gonzo, not accepting that answer has I spoke to another that is trying (every 48hrs ) to get me my monies. No actual tries as of yet. This all began over a week ago. Money in the Bank & Rep (s) all stank ; not you all, you know this!

This message willing have a reply in less than a day.

hello there, my name is Teressa Everette, I have been waiting for weeks to get my money back into my account since my card was declined on 4th of January from buying btc on your platform and yet charged my card and got my money deducted from account I made attempts of buying the btc many times within the same hour and my card was declined but you got my money deducted each time I tried and sent me mails that my money would return even if I still see a negative charge in the account but my money didn’t return till now and my bank said the money isn’t with them it’s with your platform please I wouldn’t want this to go viral on every social media I would want my money back asap; these are the references numbers attached to every email I got while getting declined and getting my money carted away

I got this wallet to avoid the processing fees of the bigger and wider known wallets, little did I know that the BTC amount I had saved could only be transferred as about 80% of what it was worth because of an egregious miners fee involved with sending btc to another wallet. You can’t even withdrawal from this app, you have to send it to another wallet that can. I wasn’t even trying to get cash, I was trying to buy junk silver with BTC only to find out that while it appeared that I had enough to cover it, the miners fee couldn’t cover the full amount. I had about $145 in BTC and the junk silver was $130. Already discouraged, I added another $10 in BTC to my wallet, knowing that I would never put btc in there again, but even after that I was still 90¢ short because the miners fee went up! It’s not a “flat rate” even though I bought BTC at different times from 30K to 45K I ended up LOSING money with BTC rising to 52K! Use something else, the online forums say that if you hold a lot of btc the miners fee is less, but I don’t trust sending the rest of my BTC in there just to have the ‘flat rate’ rise on me

There's easily hundreds of coins on here, yet no search function. The app is buggy and will not display Bitcoin cash or XMR. You can't actually buy most of these coins with money. It wants you to buy USD coin and then trade it... why? If we can buy some why not just let us buy all? It makes it super complicated. Also you can't even trade within the cryptos page, you have to press the trade button, THEN find the crypto in a little drop down list that makes it wayyyyy more complicated, on top of the fact that you have to trade with USDC instead of just buying with money. Also there is a $30 minimum and $15000 maximum for buying usd coins.

But honestly guys, serious question... why in the world would you force us to buy usd coin? Yes it's supposed to be the crypto dollar equivalent but it DOES go up an down! It's not fully stable and if I have actual money I would rather just use that instead of needlessly literally buying a coin that's the same as a dollar buy potentially actually not the same because it changes... makes no sense.

I wanted to use this app because you don't require pictures of my ID and my social and a selfie and stuff but I can't because it's not trustworthy to have to use a crypto dollar representative instead of just using money and it's annoying and confusing to use this app with the trading.

Here are my suggestions: First, GET RID OF MINIMUM PURCHASE! Many people do not the kind of money to do that, many of us are looking for cheap coins to purchase with small amounts of money, there's no reason to force a minimum. Allow us to simply deposit actual money with our bank or card, let us have the safety of not relying on a potentially unstable "usd equivalent" crypto. THEN, allow us to ALSO purchase every crypto along with trading it with said real money or fiat currency as some of y'all call it (even though fiat is dictated or forced expressions of authority, and the usd has virtual value in faith and voluntary economic movement, which is hardly forced, especially because as govt intervenes into the dollar it loses value, indicating its value is legitimate even if it's virtual).

I bought 20$ in btc via banxa got asked for ID and submitted info ... never got another email back from either banxa or ShapeShift. Put in 3 support tickets on both platforms with no replies going on hour 7 now.

Do Not Use!

Had Shapeshifter for awhile, but didn’t use it until I couldn’t get a crypto @ Coinbase. Shape shifter crashed on launch over en over. Updated it to latest 10/4 and crashed on launch again.
Can’t review it if it doesn’t work.

Forces me to change my password then won’t allow me to log in. Then my password is incorrect on the website and had to do a recovery. Can’t reach support unless your question is in their list of approved and pre-answered questions.

It literally kept making me verify my account for over a week and every time I try to log in on my phone it always says error and never lets me and they keep making me put in my details to verify every other day horrible app I suggest you don’t get it .

Is just plain bad. Not to mention I can’t use my credentials to log onto the web app and support has failed to provide me any solution. I’m so glad I didn’t have any funds kept on here.
Oh and try scanning a QR code, you can’t exit the screen if you needed to LOL

App prompt to make a password after signing in for a wallet and keeps giving "Error creating password." App is unusable - it'd be nice if it'd at least give feedback about what's wrong or missing or symbols not accepted. Hope there's some follow through from the devs.

Had this app sitting on my screen for a long time.. played around really enjoyed the UI. Sent money to my wallet, THE APP STOPS RESPONDING. Lol

The App won’t even open.

Glad I didn’t put my mortgage in there. I’ll change the rating to 5 stars, once these bugs are ironed out.

Hello developers. Some how, I opened the app on my iPhone and my main screen changed from English to Indonesian. I don’t know if I touched the screen when it was loading the main page or what, but I cannot switch it back to English. Really annoying. Thank God I can do it on my laptop.
Any idea on how to solve this?

I bought 630 dollars of ETH and had it sent to the wallet provided within the app. It charged my debit card successfully. But the blockchain status says dropped after waiting since 3pm yesterday. Its nearly been 24 hours since then. and support hasn't helped me out one bit. They keep saying the same message over and over again.

Steep trading fees in comparison to other platforms ($12 fee when i was trying to trade 19)

UpdateOkay so not trading fees but “gas” having to pay $12 worth of “gas” to move a little bit of money. It’s still a solid place to BUY crypto but if you’re a small time investor like myself I’d never recommend TRADING treat it more like a savings account or like a “CD” from the bank

If you use their website, I suggest you never log in to this mobile app. Once you set your password on mobile, according to them, you can never change it, ever again. They’re vague about that in the app.

Given their incompetence with developing their system, it makes me wonder how secure they really are and if they would be the victim of a hack similar to one that occurred to Ledger.

Made a transaction with this company and it failed. I used the auto return feature and that failed also. Lodge a support ticket with them and was told that it will take 2 weeks to get a refund. I also found out that I will lose the mining fee twice for this failed transaction. Complete BS. The company should step up customer service and also refund the mining fee since it was their fault it failed.

The app has a long delay between transactions. The funds would get in your account hours after the transaction. The support team is a joke/scam. I don't think they have one i emailed them 10 times and its been 2 weeks no response so if you think there is something wrong with the transaction and someone might help you think again. I made many transactions with them always the same problem and last transaction i made bitcoin to alt coin and my bitcoin wallet shows amount sent and nothing received in my other wallet. 4hrs later i get a refund for 1/3 of my amount. Its a scam.
