I got a car from Ron Tonkin Kia in May . They said I could get a $400 rebate as a vet. But it's been 13 weeks and I still haven't got my money. I talked to the sales guy and he said it's all good, but it's now 08/08 and they don't have my DD 214, even though I sent it to Leil S. and they said they got it.

We went to 3 different places to check the brakes on our car from Ron Tonkin Kia in Gladstone. We took it back to Kia and told them what we were told - that the brakes, rotors, and calipers were corroded, the pads were cracked, and the brakes were squeaking. Ron Tonkin Kia refused to replace them the next day, saying that their inspections showed that the brakes passed. If you look at the pics I uploaded, you can see that the brakes were not safe. Ron Tonkin Kia said several times that they won't replace them because they won't make any money if they do any service and refuse any reimbursement.

I heard a noise from my engine, so I took it to Kia to check it out. I paid $150 for the service. I left my car at the dealership on January 20th, and was told it would cost $4,514.00 to fix it. I thought it would take a few days to repair. I called on January 25th, but they hadn't started the repairs yet. On January 26th, they called me and said the problem was worse, and it would cost over $7,200. I didn't agree to this, but they said I owed them $1,600 for labor. They said they'd put my car back together if I paid more. They also said my engine was totaled, even though I drove it in. I feel like Ron Tonkin Kia is trying to scam me, and I don't know what to do. They made my car undrivable and still want me to pay $1,600.00. They're threatening to send me to collections and hurt my credit score.

I bought my car brand new from Ron Tonkin Kia and it's still under warranty for 100,000 miles. But the engine started burning oil and Kia said it was a manufacturing defect and "remanufactured" it. When I got the car back, I noticed right away that something was wrong. The car shakes when I start it up and the brake pedal vibrates a lot when I'm stopped. I took it back to Ron Tonkin but they said they couldn't find anything wrong. So I took it to another Kia location in Beaverton, Oregon and they found that some parts of the engine weren't installed correctly. They fixed it but now the same problems are back and even worse. I've been trying to contact Kia consumer protection for 4 weeks now but they haven't been able to tell me what to do to get my car fixed right. The check engine light is on and I can't even drive it. It's still under warranty but the engine wasn't fixed right the first time.

I got a *** EV from Tonkin *** on June 1, 2022 from ***, a salesperson there. I was happy with their service until they sent me an email saying I didn't sign a form accepting the terms of something called ***. They wanted me to sign it, but I didn't want to. They told me that it wasn't optional, but I didn't believe them. The service is almost the same as the *** that comes with the car for a year, which they didn't tell me. The document that I didn't sign says that the terms and conditions are the complete agreement between us. No one told me that. It also says that the purchase of the product is optional and won't affect my credit or the lease process. When I asked for a refund of the $299 that they charged me, *** said that the *** wasn't optional. He said I had to come down there to talk to the sales manager. I told him to call me, but he didn't. They owe me the $299 because I didn't sign the document. I signed the part that said I didn't want it and sent it back to them, but they haven't said anything.
