Rocco Colucci Construction

I hired Michael, also known as Rocco Colucci, in May to replace my concrete driveway and sidewalk. It took him a couple of months to finish the job, but he completed it by July. Initially, the result seemed fine. However, by March 2, 2022, one of the concrete pads had lifted, likely due to freezing, thawing, and improper soil stabilization. Subsequently, cracks appeared in multiple pads due to construction errors. I attempted to contact Colucci with photos of the damage but received no response until May 28, 2022. He claimed the phone was now owned by a Janelle. Further attempts to locate him led to a defunct address for his company. The Secretary of State registered address and another address I found were unresponsive. I also emailed him without reply. The concrete is spalling in areas. I paid over $16,000 for this job, which has failed significantly. I am requesting a $9,500 refund to hire a new contractor to fix the issues. Photos included show the concrete was poured over an improperly prepared trench, leading to significant failure.
