If you are thinking about using the services of Robert Van Eyk of Ottawa Canada, stay away from this man. Van Eyk and his company, Ryk Oliver Corporation, has a lengthy history of taking people's retainers and delivering no services in return.
Robert Van Eyk presents himself as a business consultant who can help you and your business get government grants and funding, especially for business expansion, new product development, new market development and renewable energy. I am personally aware of six (6) companies and individuals he has ripped off.
In each case, the rip-off was the same. Robert Van Eyk takes a retainer for his services and then, at most, will deliver you nothing more than print outs of government web sites that offer grants and financing, all of which is readily available to anyone for free. When you challenge Van Eyk to deliver on the services he said he would provide, he simply laughs.
Stay away from this guy. Save yourself the money and simply do the research yourself or hire a high-school student at $10 an hour to find the websites for you. The result will be the same. Van Eyk is a con-man. Ryk Oliver is s scam.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have had the same experience with Robert Van Eyk, Ryk Oliver Corp. He proposed himself as a business consultant and took my retainer and did not provide any evidence of ever working on my project. I too also strongly recommend so stay away from Robert Van Eyk. My Story is the same as the above, he took my retainer and never provided any services to me. I also know of others whom he has done the same.
DO NO USE THE SERVICES OF ROBERT VAN EYK OR HIS BUSINESS RYK OILVER CORP.
I used Bob Van Eyk once for some research. He's not a bad guy. I hired him because it was evident he needed the work. What he did was OK. Not great but OK.
I'm not sure I would use him again but as I said, I wanted to help him out because I felt sorry for him.
