Zara reviews and complaints
Unprofessional Staff at Zara in South Coast Plaza Irvine, CA
I recently went to Zara to apply for a job. I brought in my resume and filled out the small pamphlet that they had for job applications. When I asked for the manager, she was very nice and asked me a couple of questions. She told me to come back on Wednesday at 2 p.m. and that any manager working that day would help me. I was excited because I felt like I had the qualifications they needed and they were in need of people.
On the day of my interview, I was feeling nervous but excited. When I arrived at Zara, I got in line as if I were going to purchase something. While waiting in line, the girl cashier kept staring at me, which really annoyed me. She was wearing a cheap jersey shirt from Zara and had thick brown eyebrows that she drew in. Her hair was black with a wannabe ombre effect that was blonde. I couldn't believe how fake she was.
When the guy cashier called me up, I politely asked him for the manager because I had an interview. The brown eyebrowed girl kept staring at me. The guy worker asked her if she wanted to take care of me, and she shook her head no. The manager then came over and gave me a fake smile and introduced herself as Celine. She told me to wait in the front for a few minutes, so I did.
I waited outside the store for a while, and I started to wonder what was taking her so long. I decided to sit down on a bench and wait a little longer. After a couple more minutes, I looked back inside the store and saw the manager in the back just staring at me while she hung clothes. I was getting angrier by the minute, and when I looked at my phone, I realized I had been waiting for an hour. I decided to leave because I didn't want to work with such unprofessional people.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at Zara. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and I would never step foot in that store again. It's just another version of Forever 21. This Zara is located in South Coast Plaza Irvine, CA.
