Absolutely garbage app. My account has been restricted and in review for 9 days now. It’s restricted and I can’t pull money out... but I can add it?

I avoided signing up because I didn’t want to wait 40+ days for any ACH withdrawals. They stated you can use a debit card for deposit and withdrawal. Was able to do so for deposit. Surprise, surprise... it won’t let me add one for withdrawal that I can’t do because my account is restricted and their useless customer service reps haven’t responded to any of the three service cases I’ve opened, first of which was Feb 22.

These people are a straight up scam that should be avoided.

Between them lying about using a debit card to withdraw money back into your bank and seeing nothing in their terms of service that they can hold your money and keep your account restricted, I feel they’ve violated their end user agreement and violated SLAs and have thus disputed the charges with my bank for essentially violating their own terms that I signed up for.

Avoid at all costs. They WILL NOT HELP YOU GET MONEY OUT, but zero restriction on putting more in with absolutely no foresight on when the profile will be verified after submitting everything.

Not one of my 3 tickets has ANY response. When you go to click on their Contact Us page, it throws a 400 error that it can’t be found. Their number doesn’t even ring, just says leave a message.

These guys are scam artists. Avoid at all costs.

I finally got all of my money out of uphold. These guys are garbage, they claim they have 0% fees for transactions, nothing could be further from the truth. They claim they charge 1% on crypto trades. It’s much closer to 5-10 %. They have a system set up to charge you more money if you’re up than if you’re down. For instance. If you invest $1000 into a crypto, and now you’re up to $1700 in value, when you go to cash out they will literally charge your $500 commission. Like I said, they have variable commission charges that are clearly based on how much you’re up. They tried to charge my buddy $700 on a total of a $3000 cash out. Don’t use this app, you’ll get your money stuck on their platform, and you’ll be dead in the water. Uphold is a huge scam, I’ll never use them again.
In response to the “developer”, your fees are not “clearly listed”, your app has a ton of hidden fees, again, you lie and say 1% on trades, when the reality is, you charge a higher fee for higher profit margin trades, and a lower fee when it comes to a lower margin trade. At the end of the day, don’t lie, you’re trying to minimize how much money YOU as the exchange have to credit. Honestly you guys are lucky you’re not getting sued yet. I’m telling y’all, my buddy had $1000 profit margin trade he tried to initiate on uphold, and they tried to charge him $700! I cashed out of two crypto currencies at a $300 profit margin each, and uphold charged me $150 per transaction. They are thieves, and liars.

I only gave this platform a one star review because a zero star review was not possible. Here’s why:

First, let’s start with the fees. On their website, Uphold boasts to have the lowest fees, “0% commission”, etc. That is just a scam, of all of the cryptocurrency exchange apps I’ve used, Uphold has by far the highest fees. I wanted to transfer 2000 USD worth of an alt coin to an external wallet address. That simply was not possible like it would be with other exchanges. The only way to get my coins out of Uphold was to liquidate them and manually withdraw the money. After their fees, I ended up with 1935 USD. That is 3.25% in fees ALONE. The majority of their fees are hidden and are quite excessive.

If only high fees were my only complaint. I’ve tried to transition off of this exchange platform by transferring my BTC to an external wallet. This was denied by Uphold and I was told it would take 58 DAYS to settle. Uphold really does not want you to withdraw your coins or money and good luck trying to do so.

So you’re probably reading this and thinking, “I like high fees and I don’t mind waiting 58 days to do a simple Bitcoin transfer, this app might be the one for me.” Don’t get too excited yet, Uphold has limited options as far as what alt coins you can buy. You also won’t have the option to do any limit orders or stop orders. Your only option is a market order.

I’d happily recommend ANY other exchange platform. You’ll be thankful you did and you’ll save quite a lot of money in fees.

I have tried for two days to try to use this app. I’m stuck at that stupid code they send to your phone uphold des not recognize. I have an iPhone iPad and HP desktop. I’ve tried them all. Uphold won’t link my bank account.I interned it by routing # and account #.I was able at first to talk by chat w support three times. They could not figure out why. I did everything they told me and nothing worked. They created a ticket for a specialist. I was supposed to hear by email. But there is no way to skip the code # page to get to support. If you need help you get a email page only. I have emailed I have told them on twitter. I read some on there support page. You can’t use a P.O.BOX # well my bank is attached to my P.O.BOX. so I took money out of my bank went and opened a new bank account at a listed bank w my physical address. And I can not get passed the code page to change my info. I had my bank listed w my physical and my bank probably did not recognize me and kicked it out. I have tried to delete the app and reload it I go straight to the phone code page. It would be nice to get around that if you needed to start over or add new account info. And I never heard from support on the link to change my password nor have I heard anything about my ticket that was created about my problem. This is very disappointing and this app is so flawed it’s useless unless everything is smooth sailing the first round. I waiting for my help uphold. Buy your XRP somewhere else when it’s available on again in USA on like Voyager.

I tried posting this through my original account but uphold won’t post my review. So here I am trying through another account just to be heard. Ive had this account for 2 years now. The main reason I kept was to hold Xrp since it’s difficult to easily get now. Ive complied with all the new password making and google authentication uphold asks us to do. 2 days ago i logged into my account and all my assets were turned to Eth and sent to an unknown wallet a week prior. After sharing my horrible experience the rep told me not to worry and reassured me that my case was being brought to the highest department to find a solution. After 1 day of emailing back and forth, having to re explain what happened, and resetting my email password, i was sent to yet another representative named Mellisa. Only for her to confirm that my account was hacked from multiple states. They said my google Authenticator was hacked which had to be confirmed through my email and to file a police report. I went thorough all my emails and the only email I have is money withdrawn to my bank or exchanging crypt into another within the platform. They literally just dragged my hopes for 2 days to throw the problem on police and for me to deal with. I went through the reviews and saw I’m not the only one this has happened to. I will be sharing my experience with people i introduced this platform to and on social media so that others are informed that uphold does not care or willing to help loyal uphold users if their accounts have been compromised.

The process to deposit money is simple. There’s also no problem buying or exchanging one coin for another. However, in order to withdraw your money you need to upload a pic of the front of your ID, scan the back barcode, take a selfie, verify your identification again via email where the link they send does not work so you have to keep resending links to yourself no joke 20 times before it randomly works. Then you have to use an 2 part authentication app for each withdrawal which is timed. God forbid you cannot complete the authentication because it then pushing you back to the verification process where you have to send another 20 emails to your self. This process is long, dreadful and unnecessary. You even need to use a 2 part authentication to log out. Ridiculous! Now that I’ve withdrawn all of my money, I will be closing my account. I’m sure that will be a treacherous process as well. Just terrible! Avoid if you value your money!

As an edit to the developer’s response, I had to resend a link to myself over 20 times as part of the verification, not the 2 part authentication. I understand that the delay for the 2 part authentication was due to time but the verification issues was definitely an app issue. I use several other exchanges and platforms and they are just as secure without having to force clients to endure as many unnecessary hoops as Uphold does. That’s the information you should relay back to developers. From the negative reviews, it’s clear that I am not the only one dissatisfied with that aspect of the app. Good day.

I have moved tens of thousands of dollars through Uphold in the past. Actually had a really good experience until the other day I attempted to move money like normal and my funds were locked. I waited even after my bank approved transaction and STILL my funds were locked while market is crashing. Currently losing hundreds of dollars because I cannot transfer my funds and selling on Uphold would incur yet another trading fee that I cannot afford also. All in all it’s ridiculous that you cannot move funds that have already cleared. I was a loyal customer and moved over $40k through them… I will no longer use this platform… Shows EXACTLY what is wrong with regulated crypto exchanges. THEY CONTROL YOUR MONEY. I recommend KuCoin or FTX or even Binance over Uphold. Also customer service did zero to help release funds. They just said to wait, while the prices are just going down. Mind you; My bank already approved and processed the transaction, my money was literally stuck in Uphold for no reason. It was a $2000 transaction and after three days, it’s worth $1800 cause I couldn’t move it in time… Also would cost more to tether up as Uphold charges $30 trading fee from XRP to USDT. Too much money spent to simply transfer funds. Gonna end up being 25% loss before I can move my money. Horrible horrible business practice and I hope crypto takes out these giant banks being crooks.

Edit: They said wait 4 days. It’s day 6 and still my funds are locked. Highly recommend that people don’t put their hard earned cash here. This app is very untrustworthy.

It has been 3 WEEKS
and I have sent over a dozen request for support from the app to the customer support team
as well as an equal or greater amount of voicemails.
My transactions, without reason are timing out at EVERY ATTEMPT I make to WITHDRAW FUNDS from MY ACCOUNT. I have exhausted all my resources for contacting Uphold. Twice they sent emails saying they have fixed the problem when In fact the issue still stalls my account. Not being able to speak with anyone or get help accessing your funds that have already settled is a problem. An even bigger problem when you can’t withdraw funds before you lose money or add more funds before your investment grows so you still lose money as you cannot interact with your investment on the platform and no one is available to aid you in your misfortune. It is illegal. Uphold is misleading they say it will take 3 days before they get back to you in issues surrounding your account but it has been 3 weeks and I am losing money on my investment and cannot do anything about it. Uphold will have legal action taken against them in time. Don’t download this app use Robinhood or webull or Binance or any other platform other than this scam

Update: they made me wait 65 days to withdraw my money because the account is in the United States. I waited the 65 days down to the last 11 min left. I took a shower and when I tried to withdraw my money it added 23 hours and I have screenshots for proof. I will be filing a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST UPHOLD. They will lose. I suggest getting your money out now and closing your account before they steal your funds to hire lawyers

Honestly don’t know what to say. this app is designed for noobs to the crypto world, exactly what i was when i first downloaded it. i loved it, and thought it was a really good starter app to get into crypto. but above all the little things that you could point out, like low amount of coins on their market, their customer service is some of the worst i’ve ever dealt with. I will wait days for a response, and it is so obviously a scripted message not designed to help anyone. you really think i don’t know how to google? i can find your articles on your website in 5 minutes. if i am emailing you, it’s probably an issue that needs a real human to help fix. I have been stuck trying to withdraw funds for almost 3 weeks now, having sent 6 different messages to customer support (averaging about 2 responses a week), and i am in the exact same place i started in. all i need to do is be able to work around a service called Plaid, because my bank isn’t supported by Plaid. so i have no way to withdraw funds, even though i can add funds. that is literally all i need help with. and customer support has been so reluctant to help. i try to get as much information from them as possible each email (because i might not hear from them again!) and they still just send seemingly automatic emails after days of waiting. i know they are newish, but you are in the money business man. when you enter the money business, you have to get these things right. i have rarely ever posted a review on the app store, but i felt i had to this time.

if you are still reading this, just search youtube for a decent Crypto Wallet. my personal favorite right now being Crypto dot Com.

So hard to use! The 2 step verification process is complete garbage. I had to download a third party app and make an additional account just to generate a code in order transfer crypto to my wallet. I suppose some people find that to be a positive in the name of security but it doesn’t end there! Once I set up the Authenticator app, they had me get, and generated a code, Uphold kept glitching out and giving me an “invalid code” error message for the longest time. Also, just found out, Uphold wont allow crypto transfers to external wallets until after 65 days of an ACH deposit. Only way to avoid the ridiculous “cooling off period” is to buy with credit card or initiate a wire transfer. Not even factoring any fees you may be charged by your bank for initiating a wire transfer or a cash advance (FYI crypto purchases via credit card are considered cash advances), Uphold charges high fees for both options. Even if you decide fees are worth it, credit card purchases are limited $500 per day. So that means you get charged a HUGE fee for every small transaction. Seems to me like they are purposely trying to keep you from ever breaking even on your crypto investment, while making transferring crypto out of app virtual impossible. Lastly but not least, just lost a considerable amount XRP coins in a transfer and no one wants to take accountability or assist in the recovery. I gave this app a chance because it was the only trading platform that seemed to offer XRP. Seriously regretting my decision of opening an account. It’s easier to sign in to my bank apps than initiating a transfer on this junk app. If anything, this app is making me appreciate their competition even more.

I hope Uphold reads this knowing that this is becoming a major issue not only for myself but others who have been a long time user and advocate for their platform... hence the reason for the 2 star review instead of 1, I am hoping that they get this issue resolved.

Like many others and myself are having their accounts under review for weeks if not months. I’ve used this platform since 2017, I’ve completed a KYC even though at the time the space really did not like KYC’s but I stuck with Uphold because I believed in their product. Additionally, I have complied with their new request nowadays and essentially re-verified my identity attempting to regain access to my own account. I have pretty much jumped through hoops in order to access to my own funds. Please understand Uphold, your customer is your company without that, you’re another crypto company that can become a shadow in the space with a bad reputation over time. You shouldn’t treat your customers like this. Whoever is the head of your customer service department is destroying your reputation.

Furthermore, understand these are people funds! Their very own “MONEY” that you’re restricting them from. At this point, you’re worst than a centralized bank. Isn’t this one of the reason why people are drawn to crypto, to have control of their own future and money when they please? Anyways, people need their money and I am one of them. I hope you take this serious because if not, it’s only a matter of time until someone will eventually take legal matter in their own hands and that just not good business, everyone can win if we just work together.

Still no response

Was using uphold for two years with no problems despite some of the horrible reviews I was seeing then it happened to me. I was fine using my two factor authentication then all of sudden they started requiring selfies to move my Shib and of course the selfie authentication is faulty so I haven’t been able to move that yet and now I purchased XRP on Friday at 12 am and tried to move it to my ledger. I used two factor authentication and it went thru but now my XRP transaction has been pending for 3 DAYS and no one has been able to explain why my XRP hasn’t been released to my cold storage as of yet. I opened a support ticket and they haven’t given me an explanation even tho it’s been over 24 hours so I went to the live chat and had a conversation with a man named Juan P. Who appears to be replying to reviews on here acting like he can help with customer issues but when I asked what the hold up was he told me “a specialist is reviewing your issue already please wait for an email back” when I told him it’s been 3 days so when exactly should I expect an email he said “it depends on the persons workload” lol what a joke I would never in my life spend another dime on uphold. Once I get my XDC off the platform it’s a wrap. I suggest anyone reading this take heed and get off the platform. Will be using SaitaPro for my XRP purchases moving forward. Oh and support ticket number #2768585 and they keep saying I’m opening up tickets on the same issue when I’m literally following up. So how is that opening tickets on the same issue? Frauds thieves and liars with horrible customer service. DONT BUY XLM ON HERE EITHER. PURCHASE OFF YOUR LEDGER SO U DONT GET SCAMMED. They are also taking down real reviews about these thieves on trust pilot.

Far and away the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, bar none. In order to move your money out of the app you have to set up two factor authentication. Annoying, but fine. However, in order to do so you have to verify your account via a link in an email from Uphold. I have tried dozens of times to send myself the verification email and it never goes through. I reached out to uphold about 5 weeks to fix this and it has yet to be resolved. In the meantime I have been unable to withdraw any money, so it’s essentially frozen in my account. Uphold customer service has been extremely unhelpful, sending approximately one response to me a week either asking me to be patient while they hold my money hostage or offering me a solution that doesn’t even have anything to do with the problem at hand. I have tried everything to get their attention - numerous emails, multiple service requests, negative reviews online - all I get is promises that their team will “look into it” and then either additional stalling or a comically unhelpful response that does nothing to solve the issue. There’s no live chat or phone number to call so you have no recourse whatsoever, you’re just sending emails into the void and the only thing that comes back is generic promises that Your Call Is Very Important To Us. At this point it doesn’t seem like just garden variety incompetence, but actual shady business practices. Either way I’m out a few thousand dollars. I’m probably better off just tracking down the CEO on LinkedIn and shaking him upside down until my bitcoins fall out of his pockets. I got uphold bc my husband said he heard they were good, I didn’t know much about where to keep crypto. So I put in $400 worth, it was my first time buying crypto and I was so excited. I got a few different coins I researched and thought would be a great investment and they seem to be, the next day they ALL kept going up and up! So the day after that, I get a random email saying uphold can’t offer me an account, that I could deposit and swap, nothing else. WHY? I literally have never done a think to cause a flag, PERIOD. I’m a regular girl with a regular job and bank account.

I had to get someone to FINALLY let me withdraw my coins and they couldn’t tell me why my account had been suspended, either! But wait, it gets worse.

Turns out, my different coins were all on different networks. Poly, cardano, dot, algo, hbar... at least I got to get my ATOM out but only to ethereum hit whatever. I had to convert all those coins to ether and then withdraw them. They took 1/3 of my entire portfolio for “withdrawal fees”. I know that doesn’t seem much, but it is to me. I’m not a rich girl and I wanted to take a chance in the crypto world and gain more understanding into global currency, money gains, investments, etc.

Uphold singlehandedly put a [censored] taste in my mouth and FOR NO REASON. No reason whatsoever. It’s insanity.

Furthermore, navigating around the app to actually send money out was the most tedious, ridiculous design I’ve ever seen in an app period. It’s not like it’s all that, it’s a random app that I should have never even heard about. Their bank link didn’t even support my bank, didn’t support my credit card or debit card, NOTHING. It was pointless and literally just me handing them money for them to tell me SEE YA! Not even dinner or thanks.. jk. (Kinda)

Today is 9/24. If you’re around this time and wanna find a great way to store crypto, look elsewhere. I’ll forever advise against this app. It doesn’t even deserve the 1 star.

After having uphold for like a week. I bought $200 in btc, paid $13 in fees and then was kicked off the app. Go to log back in and find out that they banned my account for literally no reason. Saying after a risk assessment they determined they can no longer offer me services. After I just paid them a bunch of money. And so that in itself was sketchy, but then they tell me my funds won’t be refunded for 7-10 days. I emailed them on day 10 asking why my funds weren’t back yet and they take 2 days to respond to tell me that their refunds are taking longer than normal and that they unfortunately can’t tell me when my funds would be back in my account. So now they’re just holding my money hostage for no reason. I can’t imagine that refunding someone’s money is that difficult to do. So unless you want to lose money by getting banned and having your funds held hostage, DO NOT GET THIS APP!

EDIT: it’s now officially been 10 business days. Still don’t have my refund and I only get a response from “customer service” once a day. They do not care about their customers. It doesn’t matter that their customers are struggling to make ends meet in this covid nonsense we have right now. Nope, they can’t be bothered to respond with a generic response that answers no questions and solves nothing more than once a day. I recommend literally any other crypto app besides these scam artists. Go somewhere where they actually value their customer base. And aren’t just here to make money off you.

EDIT 2: It has now been 3 weeks and still my money hasn’t been returned to me. They have stopped responding to me and the last message I got from them was that they have “collected my funds to return”. So I’m not entirely sure what that means, but it sounds to me like they still haven’t even issued the refund yet. And at this point I don’t know if they ever are. This site is nothing but a scam. Do not trust these people with your money. You’re money is safer literally anywhere else than here. Please do not make the same mistake I did by trusting this site!

WARNING*MULTIPLE HACKED ACCOUNTSCustomer service number: 1857464 My entire portfolio on Uphold was hacked. Roughly $6,000 of xrp was transferred to a litecoin and ethereum address without my authorization. I only noticed this happen because I received push notifications on my phone that the transactions were sent. This past Wednesday I received an email in outlook (recovery email for my yahoo account) that someone with IP address in Germany was trying to login to my yahoo email. I immediately changed my yahoo password. After these transactions occurred, I contacted Yahoo and they confirmed that the email was from them and not a phishing attempt. They were then able to restore deleted emails. Clearly my email was compromised because there were emails sent from Uphold wanting to confirm logins from an IP address in Finland and later India with different devices. During this time someone was also changing the two-step verification settings. These emails were deleted so I never saw them in real-time. I am baffled that Uphold doesn't have a mechanism in place to completely lock an account with such suspicious activity. I never received any texts to confirm anything. There are such easy safeguards to avoid something like this that Uphold is clearly not implementing. Even with my email compromised, I do not know how someone got around the two-step verification. If they tried to change my Uphold password then they should have been stopped with the two-step verification. I am concerned further personal information has also been compromised, but as of yet, Uphold seems to be the only problem. A simple search online of 'uphold theft' will produce numerous reports of similar hacks, unauthorized transactions, and suspicious activity. Upholds' 'customer service' is through email where I am highly confident I spoke with a bot since many of their responses are verbatim the same responses to others who posted their experiences. Uphold needs to seriously protect their customers. I am told, like everyone else, to file a police report with local police. And, again this is clearly coming from a bot. We all know that will do nothing and only diverts blame away from Uphold. They state because someone confirmed the locations, logins, and two-step verification, they can not provide refunds. I understand crypto comes with a lot of risks, but what happened here, and continues to happen on your platform with others, is basic digital security flaws. Multiple IP addresses from great distances attempting logins in such a short period of time from multiple new devices that have not been linked to my account before are the reddest of red flags. Uphold management and engineering teams clearly do not update their security, run audits, or build in further protection (their number one concern as stated on your website). Uphold is not a legitimate exchange. It is an elaborate scheme run by known criminals, Halsey Minor, Chris Adjei-Ampofo, J.P. Thieriot, Cem Miralay, Robin O'Connell and Simon McLoughlin. This scheme involves stealing investors’ funds who hold their portfolios on the NY based exchange, Uphold inc.

The person who "founded" Uphold was about 200 million dollars in debt to business partners and even family members who were suing him. He decided in 2014 to get back on the horse by stealing other people's crypto across the globe with a scam operation called BitReserve, but too many people caught on to it too quickly and Mt Gox (his scandalous bitcoin exchange platform, launched in 2010) had already started to collapse, so BitReserve did a quick rugpull, then totally rebranded itself to look more legitimate renaming it “Uphold" several years ago. They've been selectively robbing holders on their exchange of thousands to millions of dollars ever since. Uphold-or, as I call it, “Upstold”, their now perfected scam, evolved through their past mistakes from Mt Gox, CoinMX, and BitReserve. That same founder was busy defrauding an art museum and artists on paintings for millions of dollars between the other scams like Uphold, Videocoin, and Liveplanet; Liveplanet is their "hub" for it all and a real location. Each of the locations listed for "Uphold offices" are cheap rented mailboxes in NY, SF, London, Australia, and another is a cheap, gas station bathroom drop box in China. Cryptocurrency exchanges Gate.io and AnchorUSD are running nearly identical scams. The reason for these exchanges to be involved in these criminal activities is because, at this point in time, there’s no recourse; no one has actually filed any action against any of these exchanges as of yet-other than a class action suit filed against Uphold inc. in CA. But that case was dismissed because their actual name and location were hidden, in NY. That class action has been refiled in NY, but that lawsuit has to do with another scam that Uphold is running that has to do with a rewards program; completely different than what our group has experienced.

On Friday afternoon (11/12), one of the criminals of Uphold (or multiple) locked me out of my Uphold account by changing my password. They then changed the e-mail associated with my account, then changed my account information to withdraw my cryptos into by adding several out of state/country wallet addresses. They then proceeded to steal all of my cryptos (which was my entire life savings) even though I sent multiple messages to uphold, beginning that afternoon, stating, “My account has been compromised” “Please stop any and all transactions & withdrawals from my account”. But, from what I’ve found thus far, these messages to “support” (there is no real support, only the thieves themselves), and on social media platforms, are ignored 100% of the time in order for these Uphold criminals to clean out unsuspecting customer portfolios and to allow sufficient time for the transactions to clear. I also have proof (documented, with two witnesses) that Uphold makes it very difficult for anyone to move a single crypto token to the very bank account that they set up their accounts with, let alone newly added and out of country wallet addresses. They ask for your full name, your address, a perfectly lit picture of the front of your license, a scan of the barcode on the back of your license, your full social security number (in one confirmed case) and a perfectly clear and well lit selfie. None of that happened when my life savings was stolen because it’s Uphold themselves who are doing the stealing. In fact, everyone that I know who also has an Uphold account has been unable to withdraw their funds in a single day. And, yes, they have tried after learning of what Uphold did to me. It has proven to require multiple attempts, it has involved multiple rejections, and several weeks of consistent effort to withdraw their entire portfolios, even though they were withdrawing back into the very bank account that they used to set up their Uphold accounts. Further, I had never before made any withdrawals from my uphold account, ever. But, miraculously, a “hacker” was able to change literally all of my information, bypass all of my security measures and then proceed to add several new wallet addresses from overseas and then empty my entire portfolio to a zero balance, all in one clean shot? It is not possible for this to happen. Or, at lease it hasn’t been for others. Even if it were actual hackers, Uphold would be negligent, in the extreme, to allow a series of these drastic changes to be made to an account immediately prior to withdrawing funds on a platform where people entrust them to hold their investments.

I have documentation to back up every claim and accusation that I’ve made and I will be quarterbacking a group of Uphold’s victims in a class action suit.

Return my $22,470, immediately, and I will delete this review and all others, promptly.

Do not USE. I understand investing and taking risk I have over 200 in right that I plan on using this week. Well that’s not happening I followed the instructions on the 2 step Authenticator verified through my email, download another app to make an account got a code put it in uphold now I am locked out for 65 days. Obviously I contacted a person who has to reach out in the cuz for some reason I can’t chat with someone or call someone cuz I am locked out of my account. So in the meantime I tried to recover my 2 step Authenticator on my own lol well let me tell you once verified it was me it said in the bottom of the email to wait an additional 24 hours. I can say once this issue is resolved I am taking my money and closing out my account I understand security but Christ why is it so complicated to pull out Robinhood you press a button and poof! Gone the atm I put in a 6 digit pin boom there it is. Coin base you press verify boom there you go I uploaded my id my Social my bank account my debit card but we have issues verifying it’s me trying pull out my money. Yeah no. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP USE KRAKEN for crypto!

Opened account and did KYC. Waited months and nothing from customer service after many requests for answers. Then I get a email that my account was closed. I finally got through to them free a day of repeated ticket submissions. Was told to open again. I did and same 2 month wait so I tried again with a different email and BANG! I violated the terms of service and was banned for opening multiple accounts...so after I get no help and little direction, I try to fix it myself by going through the process again . my desire to use this product with the $1000s I got was fulfilled by crypto.com.Way better product and they don’t rip you off in fees and how they steel our earned BAT coin. All BS

Why would I try to get shoehorned into a product that is a failure? I’m not a risk taker, and that is exactly what this failed app / project is. No I will not give you my support ticket(s).From the previous silence I got in response before I don’t want to use your product. My only purpose for this review is to try to inform people of the failures and bad practices of #Uphold and hopefully they will not download this scam app.
