The Reformation reviews and complaints
I had to pay for shipping despite THEIR mistake
Earlier this month, I purchased two pairs of the same boot in different colors from Reformation, meaning they were purchased in the same order number. They were sent to me in two different boxes with two different shipping labels. After trying them on a deciding they were too tall for my legs (I’m short), I decided to return them. I went through the return process online and was send one prepaid return label. I packaged them up, brought them to FedEx, and was told since there was only on shipping label, one of the boxes needed to be sent with a different label. I had to pay for this. They chose not to reimburse me for $20, despite being a multimillion dollar company. They have lost a customer because of this response.
Claimed loss: $20
Desired outcome: Reimbursement
dress
Dear Reformation,
I just bought a wedding dress from you: GE4476261135GB
For obvious reasons, I wanted to try it on first.
I tried to call the Redchurch street store countless times to see if it was in stock and had no luck.
So last Friday I went into the shop to see if I could try it on.
They informed me it wasn't instore but there were 20 online and I had two options: either pay for it there and then get it delivered to the store or order it online.
They assured me that I could return the dress within 30 days for each option.
I decided to order it online and It arrived yesterday and it doesn't fit me properly - I have just gone to return it and it says this:
Veria Silk Dress
Color: Ivory
Size: UK 10
Final Sale. Not eligible for Returns or Exchanges except under applicable EU or UK legislation, please see our Returns FAQ for further information.
I still need to return the dress as I was given false information by your staff - how do I do this?
Best,
Millie
Desired outcome: refund
Dress shrank
I ordered the Besse dress in plum this January and wore it once, to a wedding. I got it dry cleaned, as the instructions said to do. When I tried the dress on again this week for another wedding, it had shrunk four inches in length, making it a completely different fit - and no longer appropriate for a wedding.
I reached out to Reformation, and was initially told by customer service that the dry cleaner had made a mistake and that they weren't responsible. When I told them that I had sent all my clothing to the same dry cleaner and never had the problem before, they said they couldn't offer me anything other than a 10% damage refund because I had purchased the dress more than 6 months ago. This is unbelievably bad service. I paid $270 for a dress that I got a single wear out of. That is absurd.
Desired outcome: A replacement of the Besse dress, size 6
Reformation x thredup clean-out kit payout
I sent in a reformation x thredup clean-out kit which was processed on March 27, 2023. The site says that payout can take up to 75-90 days. On the 86th day, I emailed ThredUp looking for an update on when I could expect payment and was told payment had been pushed through and would be sent by the end of the week. By that Saturday, no payment had been made...

I ordered a Will Oversized Shirt on 4/24/23 and the UPS said the shirt was delivered in my mailbox on 4/27/23. I live in the city and my mailbox is locked. When I went to grab the package, it was not there and no where to be found in the front of the apartment building. This has never happened to me with Reformation orders before. I have emailed Reformation...
