The Canadian Dog Whisperer dog training

I heard about Bruce through our Breeder after contacting him that we might need to return our cairn after he tried to bite our toddler. Our dog Gus was anxious, a barker, never ever settled, would bark at every little sound and just always on edge.
The day Bruce was supposed to come I googled him and saw all of these nasty things about him being aggressive, forcing alpha rolls and just making your dog submit bc they were afraid. I called Bruce right away and told him that we no longer wanted him to come after reading about his methods. He assured me that if at any point we were uncomfortable with his methods, we could stop him and he would leave without pay. We were nervous but agreed.
Bruce came in our home, slipped a soft choke collar on Gus and within a few seconds our excitable, jumpy dog was calm. He did not hurt Gus to get him calm. He went over "the 18 rules" that we needed to follow so that we could have a balanced dog.
The following week Gus regressed a bit but Bruce came back for his second visit and addressed where we were being unclear with Gus. Since then, Gus is a different dog! He is much calmer, doesn't snarl at dogs or people on walks, barks much less and just seems happier!
Although Bruce is very expensive, it was paying him or sending our dog away. We are so happy we took the risk! Give Bruce a call if you're thinking about trying out his service.

I mistakenly gave Bruce one star, he should be 4. Only negative is the steep price.

The Canadian Dog Whisperer obedience

Three years ago, I adopted a dog that had a lot of behavioral issues. I have never had a dog that was a lunatic in the car, crazy around anything with a motor such as a lawnmower, vacuum cleaner etc. A nutter about reflections So, I thought I would enlist the Canadian dog whisperer. What a giant mistake and a big waste of money. All he did was talk on the inital visit. Everything he said to me, I have read on the internet, and I have learned from the true dog whisperer, Cesar Millan. He should take some lessons from him. What I needed was guidance on how to change my dog's behaviour.

I should never have paid him on the initial visit, but I thought that because he sat here for an hour I had to pay him. He never said I had an option to say no.

I asked for a refund 7 months later. I told him I had no problem paying him $120.00 for his initial visit but I would not be using him for anything else. He refused to refund the money.

While he may be okay to use for dogs that jump or bark at the door, and I am not sure that he is an good at that either, he is certainly not qualified to help anyone that has a dog with behavioural issues. Bruce Warrington has to use an electronic collar on his own dog because he is head strong and stubborn. I can't remember if head strong and stubborn were his exact words, but it was something to that effect.

Thankfully, I found a behaviourist, and he fixed my dog's problem in 10 minutes, and it did not cost $600.00!

Do not waste your money on this fraud. There is no money back guarantee.

Regarding Bruce Warrington:

I read the above negative comments regarding Bruce's method of helping us with our Cocker Spaniel who was getting more and more aggressive with people and all other animals, especially dogs.

When I spoke to Bruce about my concern of him being aggressive with our dog he told me that if we were uncomfortable in any way, right up to the last minute that he was in our home, he would leave and not charge us anything. In the end that guarantee on his part was of no risk; he was unbelievably calm, quiet and had zero aggression in any way.

The result was that he balanced our dog in only a couple of minutes. We immediately saw Jackson change before our eyes. It was obvious how content he became. He then taught us the rules to his game of canine.
This man is nothing short of a miracle. To see our dog's negative behaviour of over 5 years, change so quickly without any words or aggression, and remain this way today, makes me wonder about the motivation of any negative remarks listed on this site.

When I told my vet about him she said that she had witnessed several of her clients' dog become friendly who were previously aggressive. I have recommended him three times to friends and coworkers who have had the same experience as we had.

I have a 10 month male Victorian X English Bulldog and a 3 year old female Great Dane X Golden Retriever both I have had since pups. Lately the bulldog started to nip and jump while I was taking him out, and the kids were playing. I have 4 small kids so I needed to stop this in it's tracks before this escalated to the point of having to give him up. So we...
