Super Steel Building reviews and complaints

My name is jalal ketabi, My name was used on incorporating super steel building in 2006 without my knowlege.
I find out about this company in 2009.and realize my name was added as officer in Jan 2010.I like to join othe people that complaine against them for fraud.
I will speak with FBI in florida tomorrow Hopefully this make them move faster to locate Tracy turner and ask why they did all this.
I have evidence that I did not know about that until Jan 2010 .

Hello, I also was burned by these people. I spent 4910.00 for the garage and another 5000.00 takening down the old garage getting ready for this garage. I have all my emails and plans. I don't know what else we need to do to stop these people. I hope and pray no one else is taken buy these people. Question did anyone try to cash the 190.00 dollar check they sent out.

Burned----I just sent you an e-mail. I am not sure if it got to you as I am a chat/message board novice. I am also in SC and just found out this previous Friday that we are out 12k. Not going to take this and unlike you and the others I am new to this fight. Got tons going on but I am always up for the challenge when it comes to justice. After everything I have read over the past few days, I am sure that there will be no reimbursement of the monies due to us but at the very least, I would like to see these people get what is coming to them.

I wish Super steel or united steel people would see this and make a comment on my behalf.
I was working with these company for almost 10 years I never thought this would happen to me or other people.
when I enter my name to USB I was basically following the rule and I know the rules but did not know this would happened.
I prefer I had lost so many thousnd of dollar to these company then being in the position that I am right now.
I do have all the documents showing why I was added in USB and it was in good intention.I have not received any thing beside my engineering fee and god knows that I feel misrable that bunch of people lost their money to these company.I wish people would understand that engineering is my job and I work for my living with different company
just like a lot of other engineer do.
I know all of us have been victom some way or another if you were in my shoes what would you do ?

You should all post your comments so it keeps others from getting scammed. I was really close to buying a building today till I did a little more research. They are trying to be smooth by listing several different websites that have the word complaint in it but it just says "There are virtually no Allied Steel buildings complaints because the product leaves nothing to be desired." This told me to do a little more research. People please list your complaints on several sites to the next consumer will have a chance to find a better place to buy from.

Mr. Jack Rachlin has found him another place to work TigerDirect. Go to Mr. Rachlins facebook page click on tigerdirect under his picture tell them what a great salesman he is. TigerDirect is out of Miami.

Anyone interested in a metal building needs to deal directly with the supplier. Go to the plant see the operation in your state. Micheal Lastner posted commits about United Steel Buildings in the past and yes he was part of them. My best advise is to stay out of Florida completely. If you want to go to the beach South Carolina, Alabama, North Carolina or even Georgia just stay out of Florida. Everything that comes from that state seams to be tainted.
The law means nothing if you are from out of state. The reason that crooks go to Florida is there is no extradition laws. So if you commit a crime in any state and go to Florida it is near impossible to get you out of there. Remember Tim Bundy that is why he was executed there Utah and other states could not get him out of there. Leave the state alone. buy nothing from there no oranges nothing. I too was taken by these people and still am in disbelief that someone can scam this kind of money and get away with it.

BEWARE! of Allied Steel Buildings
While I am not aware of any complaints...they are JUST brokers.
More importantly they do not have an Engineer as a corporate officer. This is required by Florida State law.
By not having an Engineer and advertising engineering services, they are in violation of State law, regardless of what state your building will be erected. It is called "line of liability". If something were to go wrong...you'd be up ### creek.
Allied would defer responsibility to whomever signed off on the plans. It wouldn't be their people. Problem...you paid Allied. That is why this law exists. Florida doesn't seem to care about this...and that is why United was able to steal $2 million. from customers. After being stung for $25K by United, I highly recommend buying in your home state.
FYI...President of Allied, Micheal Lastner(?) was a partner of United Steel Buildings early on. They were both located in the same office complex.

I would DEFINITELY WATCH OUT for Allied Steel Buildings. They are all brokers. It's amazing the amount of websites they have - with VERY expensive SEO efforts to cover up their business practices. When you do a search for Allied Steel and complaints, you will get a TON of sites about how they're NOT receiving complaints. Why would someone spend so much energy to say that they're not something? Maybe because they want to flood all of the legitimate complaints to the bottom of the search results?

They took our money too! $4600 I could never get ahold of anyone after they got our ck! And, Marie was who my husband spoke with every time...She called ALL THE TIME acting to be very helpful, until they got the ck & we have heard NOTHING ELSE!

So I am sure most of you have heard...both Zimmerman & Knote have filed PERSONAL bankruptcy claims. To my knowledge, neither USB or SSB have filed for bankruptcy...whatever that may mean. Rather, it appears both companies have been "dissolved". Some of their other biz are still active. This is what as known as a "tactical bankruptcy". It does not mean they are insolvent, only trying to protect personal assetts against pending action, either civil or criminal. FYI, both have $500K + homes...

The Broward County State Attorney's Office now has no record of these companies, I have been told possibly because cases were turned over to the State AG. This also means they are most likely NOT pursuing a criminal investigation or criminal charges. CALL and raise Hell! Florida Statute 471, Engineering w/o a licence besides FRAUD. Approx. 200 complaints...$1.25-2.5 million...where did it go? [protected]...ask for the Prosecutor.

That guy needs to call the Miami FBI and report this to them!
I've spoken to them recently and they say this case is still under investigation. It seems useless at this point but if there still doin this bs maybe the Feds are actually doing there job and building a case on these guys. Anyhow, it doesn't hurt to try n help.

Tell her your trying to get ahold of Jonathan Ostroman with VERY important info on the united steel building case regarding current involvement in there scam, and for her to let him know he's trying to get ahold of him. Also let her know because this happened so recently and he was unaware of the scam he needs to file a report and be added to the list!

I lost my money with this scam. Tried to get At., FBI, Miami Dade police all to do something. Heard nothing from them. I figured they had moved on to live off our money then I recieved a call just now from a man in Canada asking me if I had ever heard of Allied Steel Buildings which is one of the names these people operate under. This guy was sending them a deposit in the morning 3/16/2011. This building was costing him $260, 000. So this proves these people are still in buisness. Reggie Murrell [protected] in Louisiana
