We purchased 5 knit short sleeve shirts at the Dillard's store on Skelly Dr. in Tulsa, OK on Sept. 20, 2015 while on a road trip. We returned home on Sept. 26, 2015 and washed all shirts with dark colors. The deep purple shirt, with small gold stripes, Size L, 100% cotton, RN58909, GNBCR09WHT25, bled onto two green shirts purchased at the same time. Originally, these were $70 or more shirts and one would not expect any fading. The ticket says 3-day return on these shirts but we expect more from Dillard's, which are not known for their customer service. If I can't get the faded color out of the green shirts, we will never purchase another shirt at Dillard's. Please advise on this. Why would the deep purple shirt fade if washed as instructed. It also faded on one of my favorite blouses, also dark. My husband has worn Roundtree & Yorke for years and this is a first. We have the ticket which lists each shirt but we cannot identify which number is the purple shirt. There were 4 marked down to $10.39 and one was $8.40. Do you recommend we return the shirt to Dillard's? We doubt if they will give us a refund but the manufacturer should know about this particular color shirt and how badly it bleeds. Thank you.
