I have lived in my community for only 8 months. Upon moving in, I brought a repair up to Reliable that was noted on my homeowners inspection. A month later I called for a follow up and nobody had submitted a service request and they claimed they weren't aware of the issue. I was told at this time that a vendor would come out to inspect the problem. I called again for follow up a month later and no vendor had been scheduled. I was told the same again that they would send someone out to investigate. A vendor finally called to let me know they'd be by to investigate the repair, however, I wasn't home at the time and can't verify they actually showed up. A couple months later, I tried again to follow up with Reliable on the results of the investigation. Since, I have been unsuccessful in contacting anyone or receiving a response to phone calls and emails. Absolutely no action or follow up information in 8 months.
There is an additional maintenance/repair issue that I discussed with Reliable in October 2020. It took about a month for Reliable to inform me that the Association is not responsible for the repair. I responded by citing local laws and community CC&R's that seem to indicate the repair is indeed the responsibility of the Association. I have not heard back since. There has been no follow up and no response to phone calls or e-mails. This company is blatantly ignoring me and skirting their responsibilities as a management company. I plan to discuss replacing this company with my HOA Board, however, not a single meeting has been scheduled since I've lived here, which is another huge problem. I have also not been able to get a response as to when they intend on holding an HOA meeting.
Another resident at the community was aware of my issues and asked me about them but would not disclose how they knew. The resident also recommend I seek an attorney if I wanted to see any form of results from the property management company, which is pretty telling of the companies "reliability." It seems my requests are being discussed behind my back to residents that aren't on the board while not being discussed with me at all. This sort of conduct is completely unacceptable.

Poor Reponse
Back in May of this year (2009), a tenant renting our apartment caused severe fire damage to he interior and ewxterior of he apartment we own at 3129 Occidental Drive, Apt 2. It also caused structural damage to the unit above. We have paid a monthly association fee, and thus far, have not been able to capitalize of this investment. We have made repeated phone calls to a Miss Angela West here in Sacramento, California to provide answers, bids, and a resolution to this situation. The unit has been uninhabitable since 30 May 2009, and we are footing the fee for this unit. I have left a message for her on Tuesday, 3 November 2009, and she has not returned my call. My sister called this morning and Angela West in fact answered the phone call, however, she would no give any information to my siser, and informed my siser that she would not return my call. She is obligated to speak to the owner only. Why? Why has she not returned any calls to the "owner" (my father). He iimediately called her this morning (5 November 2009), and she was on the other line, and I can almost guarentee, she will not return his call.
We need resolution, her involvement is necessary in order for my father to move forward. It is our understanding that the association is responsible for paint out, and weare responsible for paint in, however, we cannot move forward until the strutural assessment has been completed.
I implore who ever is responsible to contact us as we are gettig increasingly concerned, and inpatient.
