Beware
I sent my boat in for repairs because of a small misfire.I was told my boat would be in the shop with in a week and I would be on my way. If only that was the truth.
After two weeks I stopped by and my boat was parked were I left it. I went in and asked what was going on and I was told it was going to be in the next day. So I left my boat and waited for there call.
I got a call 2 days later and was told my carbs needed to be rebuilt and it would be $300 to rebuild them. So I said go ahead a rebuild them. 2 days later I go down to pick up my boat and I was infromed that the bill is now over $500 bucks.
I was pissed and I talked to the owner randy and he pretty much told me to go screw. The bill was almost double what I was quoted to do the repairs. As if the over billing wasn't bad enough I took my boat down to the river it still didn't run right.
I ended up bringing my boat to a real marina were I was informed of there reputation and that my boat was the second boat in the month alone that they had to repair that Owens screwed up.
The repair ended up being that my spark plugs were not gaped right. Stay far far away from these idiots. Evinrude stripped them of there outboard no doubt because there unqualified tec's and complains. They can't even sell new boats any more due to complaints and no one wanting any thing to do with them. They are back yard tec's they don't even have certifications.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE RIP OFF ARTISTS PEOPLE LIKE THIS ARE WHY WEB SIGHTS LIKE THIS EXIST!

Do not do business with these ###. They sold me what was supposed to be a completely rebuilt engine. Come to find out nothing was rebuilt. The engine would not inject oil and I found out that it was the two nylon gear that drives the oil pump was never replaced and never worked the day I bought it. They refused to do anything about it.
