subscription wrongly charged
I had taken a 6 month subscription
It was to auto renew on 2nd april
Promptly before a day before I tried cancelling the service, the msg I got was that there is some problem and we are not able to charge you the next subscription. So there was no option to cancel
N now I see that the subscription has been charged, absolutely unfair. I went ahead n deleted my meetup account as well... And not sure how do I reach them or get this resolved!

I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere. My meet up group was shut down. Perhaps the monitor cannot understand Japanese? I am a grad school student studying linguistics, looking for paid volunteer students to join my class in which I am studying cognitive language development.
I received this message, "Meetup does not support groups whose sole purpose is to sell or market goods, services, events, or event spaces." I am doing none of these.
I am actually paying the volunteers because I am having difficulty finding people. I am not making money, in fact I am losing money.
