IQ Data International Judgment

In the yr 2011, there was a judgment entered in favor of Mapleton Homes Apts. The Apts sold the debt to IQ.
In 2015, thru Experian and Equifax the entries posted
by IQ were disputed and deleted. IQ failed to verify within the required time frames.

Currently, IQ is still reporting to Transunion.
When judgments are sold, the transfer must be recorded on the court docket or it is not valid. IQ refuses to provide the required documentation & continues to report to Transunion. After numerous disputes through this specific credit reporting agency, IQ simply responds simply as "verified".

Please any recommendations second to an Attorney are appreciated in advance.

IQ Data International Federal offense and harassment

A woman parked illegally in front of my house, came on my property, up to my gate (setback 10 feet from the property line) and rattled the gate as hard as possible, which also dislodged my mailbox. I came out and she asked if I knew of a specific person, I said no, she then asked who I was. I told her I am not giving any personal information to her. She then claimed she did not make the statements from a minute earlier. Clearly under the influence or perhaps a memory issue. She then started to verbally harass me and attempt to leave papers in my mail box. I demanded that she leave my property. She stated she had a legal right to be there. She put papers in my mail box, I notified her it was a Federal Offense, she denied it. I reported it to the Post Office and they are pursuing it. He continued to harass me. I notified her that she was not making me fear for my safety. I reported her harassment to the Police. She then went to two neighbors to ask who I was. They asked who she was and for any ID from her, she refused.

All this for someone I've never heard of and I've lived here for 30 years.

IQ Data International Harassment

This Company called every day for months telling me that I owed them $353.99 They then refused to tell me any more information until I gave them my Social Security number. After giving them the last four digits of my social Security number and filing a police report claiming fraud, they finally said that their records were wrong and took me off of their call list. This company deserves to have its license revoked.

IQ Data International Credit Report has not been revised since Jan.2010

I rented an apartment with Visconti for 6 months from Sept.2007 to Feb.2008 but I moved to Bay Area in Jan. 2008 before my lease expires. I paid the 2 months eventhough I was not living there and left a note that I was gonna leave that I wrote in a sticky note and I even told the manager (Nelson Bennett) that I was gonna move to the Bay Area but will come back in February to get my stuff which I also said in my note. When I came back in February, there was a new manager and Nelson was gone and they said he moved to a different apartment. I spoke to the new manager on the phone because I was gonna leave the keys and left a note again that I wrote in a paper.

After a few months, they called me and said they are not giving back my deposit and I still owe them a month of rent for not giving a 1 month notice before I leave. I called them and gave Nelson's number but I could not get hold of him after several attempts calling him. So obviously I was in a dilemma and I ended up owing them 1, 200+ and I did not get my deposit back.

I wanted to go to small claims court because I really never owe them anything and it was not my fault but I was in the Bay Area and the hassle to go to Southern California and the money I'm gonna spend is not worth it. There was a company named IQ Data, on their behalf that kept calling me and wanting to collect the money. They send letters that if I pay half of it, it would be solved and it would be removed from my credit report. I paid half of it so it would be removed from my credit report. Since then until now, it is still in my credit report and had not been removed. Until now, as of July 18, 2011 there's another company calling me and collecting the money which I said I already paid.

As of this day, 18th of July 2011 my credit score is low because of them and even though I paid them through that company IQ Data they have not removed from my credit report. I paid for something I never really owe and the hassle they have caused me. Right now, I cannot get out of my apartment because no apartment would accept me because of them. They screwed my credit report for something which is not my fault. IQ Data never removed this from my credit report. They are liars that just want money.

I want to sue them for this trouble they have caused me that affects my life right now because I cannot move to a different apartment and I cannot buy a house. I have always paid my rent on time and my credit score was always 750+ but because of them they ruined my credit standing.

I have attached the letter they sent me to settle this amount that in reality I never really owe. I paid $566 last year January 2010 just to clear my credit report but they never did.

I am having the same problems. I paid them the first time and they told me my name will be updated and cleared but it hasn't, (I guess nothing has changed) so I paid them again and they said I owe them a little more and they apologize for it and this time for sure it will be.
I am trying to move into a new apartment now but the apartment I'm moving into said I need a letter stating that I'd paid in full so I called them up and asked if they could fax that latter and until now it still hasn't been fax and its been 4 days and I need to move out from my current place by Sunday.
I swear they have rude customer service and I feel like their stealing peoples money and their main goal is to try and ruin peoples lifes.

IQ Data International Harrasment

As a currently unemployed third party collector I can first of all say that I know the laws and what can and cannot be said during a collection call by a third party collector. IQ Data International has been repeatedly harrassing me regarding an overinflated bill due to an apartment complex I recently had to move out of due to unemployment. My best friend also moved out of this apartment complex before his lease was up and he was never even sued. The apartment complex has my roommates phone number yet not one harrassing phone call has been made to him, only to me. I was told by the representative at IQ Data International that I was witholding information by not giving them his telephone number when the apartment complex already has it. I requested proof as to why my collection amount was so high and, of course, this information was never provided. With the knowledge that I possess about third-party collection calls and the laws I am on the verge of suing not only IQ Data International but the apartment complex that retained them as well. In my opinion, if you are contacted by this collection agency do not speak with them and immediately call an attorney.

Then I suggest with all you know about the law, You provide some proof and be willing to pay for breaking your lease, attorney & collection fees. Even if the judge finds them guilty of wrongful collection practices, they are both civil matters and would be 2 seperate cases, so you can still be held liable for your lease. As for your friend, it is up to the apartment management who they sue. Just because they are not calling him, doesnt mean they dont have the right to call or sue you.

Out of the blue, I get a letter from IQ Data International stating I owe nearly $3000 in back rent to an apartment complex. Problem - I never lived there, never co-signed for anyone who had, never even heard of the place. I called IQDI and after bouncing around through 3-4 people, two cities and two states (Everett and Seattle, WA, then to somewhere in...

IQ Data International RUDE

This rent collect collection agency is rude and demeaning! They won a judgement against me and the Judge even said that they are willing to make payment arrangements with you. I called the next day to make the payment arrangements and Dale was very rude and was only willing to go from 25% garnishment to 20%. I told him that I could not afford that and he said that he was not a finance company and that I owed him that money! First of all the money was not owed to them, it was owed to the apartment complex that hired them. I then called the old apartments and told the manager of the complex how their collection agency was handling this matter and she was even appauled! I told her that if he did not honor my voluntary wage assignment that I would just file bankruptcy and then they would get nothing! Just beware, if they say they will make arrangements with you, they are liars and will leave you even more in debt than to begin with!

I recieved a call from one of the employee's reminding me I owed my previous residence approximately $1800 for breaking the lease, repairs etc. I explained to the person that I didn't have the money at this time. His response was "why don't you?" Once again I said, "because I don't have the money right now". He said to me very rudely, "you said that already, why don't you have the money". He became very hostile and then threatened me with calling my job and human resources in the attempt to garnish my wages. At that point I just hung up on him. He called back and again began with the brow beating of "why I don't have the money". Does he not know about the economy? I then called the main number again which is suspicious because it was a San Francisco number and the company is in Washington. I spoke to the "legal person" and he said that if the guy I spoke to was willing to take $100 in a good faith attempt then I could do that. I called back the collector and told him and he said, "yes I know". I asked him if he was going to accept the $100 good faith attempt and he, with a raised voice said, "NO, I WANT THE WHOLE THING". At that point I was furious, frustrated and stressed. I called the "legal person" and told him what was said. He told me to hang on and when he returned he said that he will take care of it. He did take the $100 but somehow in my state of mind, he also put a date of Sept 26th, 2012 as the date they will take out the remaining balance. After getting off the phone it dawned on me what had just happened. I doubt seriously that I will not have the remaining balance in my account at the end of September. Now I have to call my back and tell them that I do not authorize I Q Data to take that money. What a freaking hassel. First the apartment building screwed me for leaving early and now I Q Data is doing it. The company is not a member of the Better Business Bureau and I don't know how they sleep at night the way they treat people with out compassion or understanding what some of us are going through. They just are heartless people.

IQ Data International identity fraud, extortion

i recently applied for a home mortgage when i learned that IQ data international turned me in to all 3 credit beauros for non payment of $5370 to wood hollow apts in san antonio, tx. Although i've never received a letter or phone call from anyone, I explained to the company that i've never lived there and they have the wrong person. IQ told me i needed to prove to them that it wasn't me, so i did though fax. I was then told by them that I was out of luck, and there was nothing they could do about it. After filing a police report, i learned there were 2 people with my exact name living in san antonio. I want this company put out of business.

You can sue them for up to $1000 for every incidence that they reported false and inaccurate information to the credit bureaus, which means you should be able to sue them for $1, 000 for each report to Transunion, Experian, Equifax. I would talk to a lawyer, because depending on the state you live, you may also be able to recover damages and attorney fees.

IQ Data International Harrassment and Unauthorized use of unlisted, unpublished cell phone numbers

This company called my home phone number seeking my younger son, whom hasn't lived here for years. They also called me on my work phone, leaving a voice mail while I was out of town last week. The same day they called my eldest son using his unlisted, unpublished cell phone number, again to find my younger son.

It seems to me that I'm being harrassed for something my younger son may or may not have done. Additionally, isn't it illegal for them to 1) find, use and call an unpublished, unlisted cell phone number of someone they "suspect" is a relative; and 2) to call me on my cell phone (my work phone)?

I think this is a pretty shoddy practice and if it isn't illegal, it's borderline. I've called these people back and asked them to remove all our numbers and to cease contact. They'll have to find my younger son on their own.

Calling cell phones are huge issues right now. As more and more consumers switch to cell phones, it is possible that those with legitimate business needs will have more ability to call them. unless of course obama doesnt like it.

However if the agency does not know or is never told that the number is a cellular number, how can they be held accountable? Also, just because a number is unlisted does not mean your son didnt give it out to either the consumer or the creditor, or to a skip trace source. Skip tracing is another slippery slope.

It is legal for debt collectors to call relatives to try to reach a debtor. but they should not make repeated calls if told their is no info for the debtor.

Why not just tell your son to call these folks. Make him accountable for his own actions as adults should be. If this is a legitimate debt, it is in your sons best interest to clear it up as soon as possible. Hiding him from the debt wont help him at all. Dont turn this into a us against them thing.

I have a similar event with I Q Data International. A bogus charge of v$1, 060.00 on what? They submitted this bogus debt to Equifax, and that without an account number. Nonetheless, IQ Data has about 15 days left to respond to my full time attorney with Parker Stanberry in Los Angeles. So far no response from I Q. Also they are currently 'shut down'! Good news on that. I Q is in for a very good legal battle, since I AM A FIGHTER! All of you keep the good fight and do not give up. This is a form od scam of some sort, though my attorneys will get to the bottom of this for sure! Parker Stanberry is an excellent law firm with many, many attorneys.
