Fox anime.com Item not delivered but fully paid for.

I ordered the DVD movie Akira to surprise my universities anime club of which I am the president. It was going to be the first showing (to like, 12 people...) after Christmas break... this hasn't happened now and my club and I are very displeased. It was ordered around Christmas, they took out the money for it and so I just assumed it was sent... but it never arrived. Going back to check on my order's progress I find that the website isn't working anymore, they are not responding to e-mail complaints, and their phone is disconnected... they are unreachable and I am sure that I will never receive my purchased item or a refund... I feel scammed... and right around Christmas too... It has to be fraud and I hope they get caught if it is. I to am surprised they were on yahoo... and google... Thank you for ruining Christmas foxanime.com.

My dauter never recieved her Coraline back pac that I paid for.
The company told me that they did not have the item and I needed to
order something else. I did not want something else and they still have not given me a refund. It is now 6 months later, and the have stoped reponding to my emails. I did not have money to by her another back pac so she is using her old one still. She is very sad

I can second what "loveshopping" stated is true. Being scammed once is bad, getting scam again by the same group, is really bad. From what I learn and see, animeharu.com is the same group of scam artist this complaint broad had noted in the past. My friend ordered with animeharu.com for a test drive few week ago and learned they are drop shipper, they do not have stock. Most of the stuffs they had on the site are simply images, without actual stock on hand. They operated just like previous scammed sites. They take your money and help you order from their drop shippers, some of stuff were shipped oversea. So anything happen between the deal they had with their drop shipper in getting your order will be your lost. My friend he did not receive his order yet..(Crossing his fingers, they will refund him).
Animeharu.com are the same group of people that had scammed many in the past under many different store/ dot.com names (most of website have disappeared, but many still remain, like toweranime.com, animepromo.com, buyallanime.com, discountanimeusa.com. The most recognizable scam sites were foxanime.com and animeballz.com which cons many people before people realize the game these con artist were running. So beware, under this new face for these people are now animeharu.com, if you are lucky enough, you may get refund before they completely run with your money. It may be a matter of time before they start running again, and when they do, you are not going to see you money or what you ordered, and they next thing you know, a new site pop out by them again and a new cycle start. This group of people is really good in changing and opening new shops. Wishes all luck hope this help other from being con again and be a smart shoppers.

Want to go an anime shopping spree today, have hold off shopping a bit, just about to search on and found a new site under https//www.animeharu.com. I must say, at first I was very fond of the site and the variety of stuffs they offered. Did some research and to my conclusion, I am really sorry to say, DO BEWARE, this new site is also operated by the same scam artist under the previous sites name TowerAnime.com, BuyAnimeDVD.com, Foxanime.com etc... Several other sites that have this broad had been complained about, most of them have been closed. Their products and inventories are exact of those sites they have scammed people with. Most of them are simple picture fixture on the site which they do not have actual inventories on.

To my surprise, the site have only be up a month or so, but already have earn there are few phony 5 stars rating for that company rated by their own to get your trust. Those feedbacks were made on the same month their site came out. If you check out the user whom posted the feedbacks, it is obvious; they created the accounts on the spot and noted the great reviews about their company. Check it out. http://www.resellerratings.com/store/www_animeharu_12, I am not going for fall for this one. I hope other had done so with cautions.

From the look of their site at animeharu.com, they noted many items on in stock, but yet at the same time, those feedback are counter acting their inventories, noted they don’t have stock of the products, but yet, it is still great customers services. . After researching on, Funny thing is that someone commented about refund on unavailable stocks, and refund... but yet on their site, they noted, they won't charge until ship. So why in the world would they gave offered a refund if they didn't charge your account.
These people may try to get a combat in earning your trust on this new site. But since they have been running scam for so long under several site, they aren’t going to give up easy money. They will scam again. They had return under new fantasy new site, not sure how long will they be attempting to lure people in before they start walking off again. I hope people can check them out before getting scam again for these people.

Yes, indeed, Thalamoria, but now Tower (or whatever they are called by the time you read this) is posting fake praise comments on all the complaint threads against them and "voting down" all our complaints while "voting up" their lies.

u can try buying from these websites, i have bought dvds from them a couple of times without problems.

shopanimedvd.com
animeniacs.com
ioffer.com

the first 2 are US-based sites, whereas the third is like ebay - u can try buying anime dvds from this lady called Mdm_Autumn. I bought my stuff from her. The prices are not that cheap but hers is the cheapest on the site.

My advice to all is pay through paypal and check that the verisign logo is valid.

Several people mention AnimeBallZ with relation to FoxAnime, however, I ordered from AnimeBallZ (no longer in business) and received my entire order in two parts. The first took about a week and the second part took about three weeks. I ordered 17 "perfect editions" to start my animé collection and was going to order more after I'd saved enough money. Overall I was very satisfied, though the Slayers movies set was clearly a fansub bootleg and was not dubbed as listed on the site.

I'm glad to know to avoid FoxAnime and BuyAnimeMovie, etc. now, but does anyone have any suggestions for a legitimate source of region 0 DVDs since buying complete sets for North American releases (and not everything was released over here anyway) is way to expensive.

I am a purchaser of foxanime product which was one dvd.It took 6-7 weeks.I never order over 30 dollars and usually just 1-3 items. Also I always use a money order ..that way your card and yourself dont feel used.Sometimes, you can report the money order lost and with your receipt..get compensated. I recieved my order by sending an e-mail to customer service and I got an apologetic response. later that week I recieved my order. Also I sent an e-mail of thanks.Whoever was doing the shipping..The person will not match up some order numbers or lose them altogether which is wise to include your order number on your check, money order or the order blank application that came with the website. HOPE THIS HELPS
