Fagnelli Plumbing Will not refund my money

Well, we all hope that when we contact professionals that we dont get ripped off. I was hoping that would've been the case with [censored]nelli. Unfortunately it was not. We called them on a Sat because we had an emergency plumbing situation in the basement, seweage was backing up. We knew there would be a fee for them just to come out, and we knew there would be a fee to snake the drain. We understood that. The plumber could not fix the problem and said he would need to come back on Monday with a camera. However, when he took our money, he also billed for the fees for the camera as well, btw was $130. By Monday, we decided to cancelled our appt and asked that they refund us the money for the camera work, work that was not rendered on [censored]nelli's part. After 2 months, they refuse to pay us our money back for work they did not perform. Why won't they give us our monmey back? They did not perform the work? Why would they charge us for work they did not perform? I dont get it but I recommend using someone else because this is SHADY.

Called [censored]nelli Plumbing to my house a couple weeks before Christmas. I had a few jobs (2 leaky faucets, toilet runs occasionally) that I wanted to have fixed before our holiday company came to town. They totally tried to rip me off with a price that was out of this world! Im not sure how they came up with it (maybe I was paying for someones Christmas!) In...

Fagnelli Plumbing Overcharge for Service

I needed the water supply line coming from my wall to the toilet tank replaced. Because they said their line would not work with the shut-off valve I had, they also replaced it. It took the plumber all of 5 minutes to replace the line and valve and they charged me $371.00. After doing some research, I found the flexable water supply line for $10.oo and the shut-off valve for $5.00. While there was a $60.00 dispatch charge, adding that up with the cost of the supplies is $75.00. Are you telling me that plumbers are making $296.00 an hour now?! Never will I recommend or use these price gougers again.

I called [censored]nelli Plumbing over a weekend when my water in the bathroom would not shut off. The weekend service call was $120.00 (okay, fair enough, it was a weekend night) and although the plumber was able to shut the water off at the faucet; he did not have the required part in his truck to correct this issue. The plumber said I would either need a new cartridge - Price $602.00 (plus the $120 service call for over $700.00) or there may be additional problems with the plumbing in the wall, in which case he would be required to cut a hole into my closet so that he could shut off valves and, of course, there was an additional cost for the access panel, plus resolution of the issue-- this price was creeping up over $2000.00+ when I told him to stop, because I couldn't afford it. He then said it was most likely the the cartridge & I could start there. He asked for half down (about $360.00). I refused and told him that [censored]nelli is WAY overpriced and preying on unsuspecting people. I refused the service, went to LOWE's the next day, bought a $39.00 cartridge and called a friend, who had prior construction experience, to help me install it. We followed the directions and had it installed within 1 hour. The faucet works fine now with no issues. Stay away! Go through the Better Business Bureau or ask a friend for a reliable plumber!
