After setting up "free" account received daily emails for 3 to 4 days of requests from SILVER members to join for for 30 days approx $168. to be able to repond to these elite SILVER members. After joining and responding to a few gentlemen suddenly nothing...not one NEW email in 5 days. Statrted web search and realised I had been scammed. Have sent letter to them asking for refund today 7-13-10. Let's see how they respond. Will send complaints to Dept of Consumer Affairs and BBB if no refund received.

I want to warn anyone out there about the dating site |EliteMeet.com. It is a total scam. I checked it out after beinfg lured there from another lagitimate dating site. You can join for free, or so they tell you. I joined (for free) and very soon started getting many many mail messages from very attractive, weathly men. BUT in order to read these messages and respond back, you have to PAY BIG MONEY! Unfortunatly, I am a bit of a sucker and got lured in by these attractive men, so I paid the $197 US for a 3 month membership! Crazy, I know! Well, I then read these perfect mens, perfect profiles with their very perfect - too perfect - pictures. I responed to several of them.. why not as I paid the money right? Well, I only ever heard back from 1 and it was just a 1 line, very generic reply having nothing to do with the email message I sent.

Very soon after paying my money, I stopped getting any new messages from any men. Before I paid, I would get on average 2 or 3 a day! I must say, the guy who set this up is going to be rich if he gets many more suckers like me. Don't let him get rich off us... don't buy into this scam!

So, the lesson learned is EliteMeet.com is a TOTAL SCAM! I am embarresed to say I blought into it, but please take my advice and do NOT!
