CPNE reviews and complaints
SCAM
OMG, people... WAKE UP !
excelsior's LPN to RN program is a scam and it will cost you dearly, lots of money and time !
high fail rates (and not because the student is not prepared, the CPNE is rigged for failure. every and any mistake you make will fail you no matter how small and everyone errors. we are after-all, human)
not accepted in all states because excelsior doesn't meet minimum requirements ( CA is one).
some companies will not hire you.
none of excelsior credits transfer.
save your money and go to a real college that has real instructors who really care about you.
excelsior will take your money and waste your time. believe me I know from personal experience.
I also noted that complaintsboard.com has removed previous complaints about excelsior, there was 10 years or more worth of complaints here previously and now... poof, magically disappeared.
if you haven't noticed that there are hardly any complaints... that's because they have been removed...
this a complaints site... not a praise site. (hint, hint)
and just so you know, Donald J is a paid excelsior representative so ignore anything he says.
I purposely used bad grammar... so Donald can have fun criticizing my comment

CPNE
==Warning==
Nursing program considered a scam by many. Nursing program final (CPNE) sets the student up for failure, high stress and embarrassment. Unacceptable failure rates, about 30% of 1st and 30% of 2nd time atempts at CPNE final fail. CPNE final costs $2, 025 and any 1 mistake made may fail the entire CPNE and no refund. High failure rates equal big profits for Excelsior College.
Some States do not approve their nursing program and will not issue an RN license to Excelsior College graduates because: Excelsior's nursing program does not meet minimum State RN board standards. CA is one of the States that will not. See www.rn.ca.gov/whatsnew.shtml (last paragragh) and www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/forms/excelsiorcourtdecision.pdf and www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/forms/excelsiornewsrelease.pdf . So check with your State board of nursing before you enroll.
See www.complaintsboard.com, and search CPNE or Excelsior College. Here you will find over a hundred complaints from Excelsior College students. Consider these warnings before you enroll. A traditional college or technical school may be a safer choice.
A special note for Donald J.
Donald J.,
you're either an idiot or a payed Excelsior employee. Because, no one in their right mind would continually come here and respond to other peoples complaints, in support of Excelsior College unless they were paid to do so.
So, Donald J, which are you? Idiot or payed Excelsior College employee?
