All Roads Express Auto Transport Bad Business - ripoff

I contracted this broker to move my car and paid $195 as deposit. Broker failed to move my car at the time promised by their representative. I ended up cancelling the order and requested a refund. A refund was promised but never processed until eventually the owner of the Company Richard said that he was not going to give me a refund because I broke the contract. Why do companies cheat people like this. Sales person made a verbal promise for a specific date my car was going to be moved, but they sent me a contract for me to acknowledge that they will be moving my car. It turns out that in their contract, they were going to take my deposit without doing their job. This is a huge scam. This company appears to have been called by a different name and closed, probably because their scam caught up to them. I fell for it, and now I am crying for my $195 I lost to them. Please be WARNED. you are lucky if your car will be transported at the time they promise.
Shame on Richard for taking innocent people's money!

Update by Scott Renfroe

Hello this is Scott Renfroe again. As the reviewer of this site may see I wrote an complaint concerning my grievances against this awful company about not being paid fairly for my employment over THREE months ago and of course I was never compensated afterwards! Since then I've only received threats of lawsuit from their employees for simply speaking the truth while they have no problem writing lies about myself and slandering me as some kind of rotten and criminal employee! lol For the person that wrote the previous comment supporting my actions I have high praise for them for helping me get the truth out about this company and how they conduct their business. Even though I've completely moved on and have chalked working for them as just an bad choice and experience in my life now they have decided to begin recently harassing me on social networks telling lies to my family members making more threats to myself even though until now I could care less about this company anymore! I guess I've become the scapegoat for their unfair business tactics! As the person commented above is this how an legitimate company should run it's business? For the record All Roads Express I'm done with you I have no more to say about your company or employees please conduct yourself properly and I'll show you the same respect!

Companies that try to defend themselves on boards like this are usually a scam, you are a company and should act like a company, if scott was doing something you did not employ him to do, should you not have asked him to stop and do his work? you say you are here to help others, but the truth about you (Company) is, you are here for yourself not to help anyone. I have seen other posts by employees that have left your company, and you try by all means to discredit those employees. Scott deserves that $250 base pay.

Scott Renfroe walked into our office on October 1, 2014. He had just left a furniture broker's office named Nationwide, stating that they did not want to pay him and he needs money because his landlord wanted to kick him out. We gladly put him to work, gave him a station and some supplies. I noticed that every time I walked by he was on Yellowpages.com, Facebook, and Craigslist. We understand that he was in a tough situation but, company time is company time. He can come in early or stay late to use the PC but not the whole day long. Oct 2nd was the same, he did make a few calls here and there. Oct 2 was a Thursday, which is also the cut off date for our payroll. Friday we wrote Scott a check: # 2915 for $50 and, we wished him luck but do not think this will work out. We are all here for helping others, but when you see an employee abusing company time and equipment, then enough is enough. If he really wanted to work he would have made an effort instead of "surfing" the web. *We also called Nationwide to see if we can help him get his check and they informed Scott and stolen the managers personal credit card information and was filing a police report against him.
