Resort Stay International (RSI); GeoHoliday, Resort Travel Services, Smart Travel and Incentives, Inc. etc.etc.

I attended a Time Share sales meeting in Las Vegas on Saturday Oct. 13, 2012. It was at the Jockey Club on the Strip.. During the presentation there were at least three companies involved. The names were Geo Holidays, Resort Stay International (RSI), RCI, and Smart Travel and Incentives, Inc.. That is a tip off in itself. If the sales people banter around a lot of different names, be aware. They introduce you to a sales person, then show you a movie after giving you a 10 minute sales pitch by another sales person. Then they show you around the resort. (It was NOT all that impressive) Then they take you back to a sales table and try to sucker you into a ridiculous time share investment for $25, 000, plus a monthly HOA fee for the rest of your life. When you reject that offer, they send you down through a gantlet of closers. The last closer gives you an “offer you can’t refuse”. It is a 7 day stay at a vacation resort anywhere in the world for $199.00. Then there is a FREE air trip to anywhere in the continental US, along with a two night stay at a Marriott Resort. DO NOT SIGN. There ARE non-refundable deposits included of $75.00 for the Resort Package. Also, there are reservation processing fees of $75.00 per person for the air trip, Also, there is a refundable deposit of $100.00. HOWEVER, it is not specified how you would get your deposit refunded.

The original $199.00 is NOT cancel-able. They try to rush you along and DO NOT give you the time to read the “fine print”. INSIST ON READING THE FINE PRINT BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. STUDY IT! One line in the 7 day resort package states: “This is not a real estate transaction and, therefore, not subject to a right of rescission. In other words, BUYER BEWARE. You WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK! The name of the final closer was Mark Hampton.

I have received atleast 22 calls in the last 3 weeks. I don't know where they got my number but I have repeatedly ask them to stop calling. They are using different areas and numbers from across the country. If they call me one more time I will seek legal counsel. No means no!

I got a call in December from a "Kris" from Resort Stay asking for a Craig Argabrite well this was my phone he was calling on so I lied and said he was not in and he asked for Mrs Argabrite and I said you have the wrong number. ( don't like solicitors ) . Then I hang up and he calls again, then I hang up and he calls again he does this a couple more times and I called out to my husband and said this guy won't leave me alone. Then my husband gets on the phone and asks who it is, and what do you want after explaining who he was we then remembered that back in August we went to the presentation for the free time share, and did not get it because we could not afford it. Even then when we said no, they all gave us attitudes. So then my husband tells him to take us off his call list and hangs up. Then this kris calls again he says well you didn't block my call and my husband tells him to stop calling. Then he calls again, my husband would pick it up then kris would hang up. Kris called 10 rimes before my husband says I need to talk to your supervisor My husband talks to the supervisor and she says she will take care of it. Whether it was or not I think it was so unprofessional, uncalled for. Bad customer service if you ask me. I will not buy my time share from this company I don't trust in the customer service.. They are to pushy and very money hungry. They lie to you from the beginning.

My husband and I sat for what was to be 90 minute turned out to be 4 hour time share presentation in 2015. We did not buy the time share it was to be a free trip to Hawaii including plain trip and 2 night stay. Before booking the time share I ask the person on the phone could we buy more nights when we go to Hawaii. I was told yes, they could make that arrangement and it maybe off season we said that's ok. However, after the presentation they do a bate and switch. You can only fight tue- thur (must come back Wed or Thurs) and have to come back at that time or they will charge for the whole trip all of it. What they basically said is it less then 24 hours you get to stay in Hawaii and you must flight back or you will get charge for the whole trip. Here's the Bate and switch: Instead they offer 7 day stay at one of there nice resorts but you need to send in $75.00 and they will send you an activation code to reserve your stay with in a short time. What a joke, or a lie. I did send the money and have proof within their time frame but when I call months after saying I did not have a email they keep putting you off an saying that person not in and the manager in a meeting and they can not help me. BE WARE It appears to me a scam and you pay them for your time instead of the other way around. Be on your toes and look at all the reviews for both the Vegas and Time Share week stay they promise is a joke. You just loose your time and pay them for nothing.
