hi all
i dun want to interject any malice agenda thats ominous here.
but running a direct sales company is a pretty mean feat the least i can say
being the boss also means u have a darn wide scope of the business area of influence
on one hand, u have your minions and the other side is accountability to Granton
which is the proprietor flagship, based in Ontario, Canada
to explain the dynamics of direct sales simply put is doing business at its primitive
level, stripped down to the core.
which translates to : no deal no money
simple? yes & no.
question : how does one make a deal without merchandise?
ans: no way
q: so how's granton run its show
a: they provide merchandise and to protect their interest, they hold accountability
to the bearer of their franchise.
q: why do complains arise
a: its basic human traits, like a reflex gag, when u push them beyond pain threshold
they fight back
q: so is it a scam
a: scam or fraud is heavily based on paper trails..just like the recent City Harvest case
hence, to avert such inferences, remove paper documentations
hence, u are not required to sign any agreement forms whatsoever
q: so there is no vindication for those affected at all
a: here, i shall explain why the answer is ever elusive... for this topic has been around ever since mlm or granton came to our shores
there's an unspoken decree shared by all sales people
- its a numbers game..or law of averages..or 10 out of 100 success
- maintain attitude 24/7... never loose attitude
- dont get dissuade by negative... or rejections
- winners dun quit vis a vis
i came to these forum to look for old frens but find rancour avast.
alas, what i shared is gleaned from my tenure as campaign manager @ granton
years back.
i hope of shedding some light for your answers
but i can only wish you the best...in granton style...
Have a Nice Day!
I have to disagree with this lot
Maybe we are just not there yet, but all the sufferings and anguish culminating to
misdirected angst are sadly inevitable. I'd soon blame it on our culture or crutch mentality.
I wouldnt want to exude elitism or sound haughty but Granton was not founded overnight.
From Canada, Mexico, China and even Russia, blood and sweat are nom de rigueur
only heard during "pointless" pitching exercise.
Where else can one found work ethics tirelessly promoted every single day except Sundays? And the 1st rule is attitude. Altogether there are 8 rules.
1. Have a great attitude
2. Work your territory correctly
3. Be on time
4. Maintain your attitude
5. Be prepared
6. Know why there and what doing
7. Work full eight hours
8. Take control
And the biggest taboo in atmosphere meeting is sulking and spreading negatives.
In fact, they might teach you how to overcome these negative feedback or feelings.
So mostly any negative news are swept under the carpet less the new recruits would get affected.
Granton is worldwide incorporated. its little wonder, how much hardwork is poured into realising this dream. So spare some slacks for the boss. he was once out in the field too and languishing in the same puddle of vile, demoralising criticism.
Incidently, I found someone in the US who devoted a full blog about Granton and
its affiliates. Prewarned, this may sway you to actually support what Granton has done.

Khafla and Have A Nice Day!
I'd have to say
There's too much attention on mediocrity
that when true Greatness appears
they're deemed as freaks of nature or worse
repudiation.. repulsion.. abhorred.
The uphill climb to ownership is ardous, life-depleting, nerve wrecking at least.
Friends are lost, families neglected ( at times), and all for what...?
As an owner, 2 imperatives must be defended at all cost..
Team motivation and Personal attitude
Sometimes, personal sustenance may be sacrificed for long term gains.
At Granton, we take personal pride in these sacrifices.
That's why, sometimes despite our sartorial palatability,
those trademark confidence, unabashness still oozes out regardless
how irksome we sound.
This is the mark of True Greatness.
For all disgruntled ex-employees out there, CNA (3 Mar 2013 10.30pm)
just endorse Granton marketing.

This is the scoop Granton has been waiting for.
Just the recognition by mainstream media is enough boost
for the merchandisers out in the sun.
Like Country Manager, Arabad said " Instead of waiting for customers
to come...hoping that they come, we push the deal to them, for them
to come straight away"
Which SME or Franchise owners would say no to that?
Hopefully, those ex-employees will take back their allegations of abuse
from this board.
@ Angsty
Totally understand your predicament
Totally embraced your terse experience.
However, if this episode should teach anything at all,
STAY IN SCHOOL...get educated really well..
a diploma is unspeakably over qualified for door to door salesperson
meaning, you don't really need it on the street peddling..or doors knocking
If I may be so bold, please go ahead and get a degree as well..(Full time or part time)
When I got my degree, I too left the same episode behind.
No doubt, you will feel dejected
But trust me, you are so much better with your new found wisdom.
Have a good one.
