As a planner did you do a site visit before you booked the hotel?
it's been awhile since this happened. Are you ok? Do you relive this often? Perhaps a therapist would help take the edge off.
Did you ask for a manager? You know, I find it. Hard to do, but if I were treated like this I would have!
They offered to make you a new one. They gave you what you asked for. BUT neither option was good enough. I am not sure why you are complaining
