After reading everyone's comments we consider ourselves lucky that we cancelled our order, but the conditions under which it was cancelled were ridiculous. Let me explain...
We ordered a gas-powered scooter for our son. My husband used his debit card to order it and they sent a message saying the address didn't match the bank's records, so he had to email them the correct address and his three digit card code. Being a computer guy, he knows better than to email such info, so he called them. After a 25 minute hold he got to talk with a rep with whom he confirmed the address was correct. The rep insisted that the zip code and street address did not correspond, so they would not fulfill the order. After a lengthy debate trying to convince them that our address, which we have used for years, and at which we receive packages DAILY using that card was, in fact, correct, the rep cancelled the order.
Now they had claimed they couldn't run the order without that three digit code, but while my husband was on the phone with the guy he had checked his account and found they HAD already run the order for a few hundred dollars and told the guy to refund it, since they obviously had already gotten it to go through. The guy tells him they will do so in about 30 days! So, they refuse to ship the product AND refuse to issue a refund immediately for something THEY are refusing to fulfill. Incredible.
Given that our son reeeeeally wants the scooter, my husband asks me to try again using a different card. I do so and get the same email later that day - address doesn't match what my credit card company has on file and they need me to email my three digit code. I call the bank and the credit card company and verify that both of them have the same address we are giving to MPR. I call USPS and verify there has been no zip code change for our area. I call MPR and, after I tell Lisa what we have been through, she yells that since I am frustrated she is canceling my order and she hangs up on me! So now we have two charges on two different cards, no scooter, and a lot of pent up frustration to deal with!
I agree with the others who have written in - avoid this company!
