Most of these comments are ###ed. Only ###ed people would complain. If this was a fraud account and you were charged for the title, you would need to contact your card company about that. It's fraud. They cannot just give you back your money because you say so. I am a disney club member. If you read the terms & conditions when you had signed up you would know that they have feature titles you need to respond it every four weeks. How hard is it for you to go online or over phone once a month to say no. If you can't even read the terms & conditions you shouldn't complain because you are the stupid one. If you don't like responding to feature titles you shouldn't have signed up in the first place. It's not Disney's fault your all dumb.
It's not impossible to cancel your membership. All you have to do is fulfill your agreement with them and call and say you want to cancel. If you don't then that is your fault, not theirs.
If you read the terms & conditions, it would tell you they have Feature titles out every 4 weeks that you need to respond to in order for it not to ship, and if you don't they automatically ship & and you check a box that authorized them to charge your card. They have their number listed on your catalogs & website. You have to call them to cancel your account, only if you fulfilled you commitment
Even if you don't receive the feature title card to respond to, its still your responsiblity to respond. They get lots in the mail and thats not something they can control. That is why they have options of phone or online responds.
ECONOBIKER is probably the dumbest person. There is no membership fees. You have an obligation. There are feature titles you have to respond to every month in order for the title not to ship out. If you fulfilled our obligation within a month you can cancel. Two years is the time they give you to fulfill.
If you call [protected]. All you need to do is press the number 5 and you can get to a live person. Everytime I've called it worked. But even if you try to file a suit against them, they are protected because they list every single little detail about the membership in the terms & conditions when you first join up-which i'm sure no one reads. If they made a mistake, its easier if you just call them and nicely talk to them and work it out.
There is no such thing called extended contract-it says no where in the contract that after your obligation is fulfilled then it will automatcially be canceled. You need to call them to let them know you want to cancel-they just cannot assume that. These movie clubs are for people who love to watch and collect movies. Not for people who want cheap introductory orders for couple dollars.
BY PUTTING RETURN TO SENDER ON PACKAGE DOES NOT GUARANTEE IT WILL GET BACK TO THEM. IF YOU KEEP DOING THIS AND DOESN' T MAKE IT BACK TO THEM YOU CAN BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE. IF YOU DON'T WANT THE TITLE YOU NEED TO RESPOND TO THEIR DIRECTORS SELECTION.
They probably charged your card because you didn't respond to their feature titles.
by putting return to sender on any kind of package does not guarantee it to get back to the correct place.
You probably did not read the terms when you had signed up. Disney is a very reputable company so why would they try to scam people. You keep getting movies you didn't order because you didn't respond to their feature titles every month like you agreed to. You sound very rude, so how would any company give you good customer service. If you can't even read their terms and conditions, then you shouldn't be signing up for memberships.
I don't see how you people can make something so simple so complicated.
