Just a heads up, at some businesses it's their policy to ask for ID if you're returning something over a certain amount of money, or if you don't have your receipt, or if it's broken...one reason or another. So the sales person could just have been following procedure, I don't know. At certain places I've worked, the computer will literally not allow me to proceed with the return or exchange until I've typed in the ID number & a few other bits of info.
There are two separate aqua creams. One for eyes and cheeks, the others for lips and cheeks. So the sales person was simply trying to help you by telling you that it can't be put on lips, it's going to dry out. It sounds like she was looking out for, trying to make sure you didn't dry out your lips, or buy a product that you thought was going to do something it wasn't. I don't understand when you say you wanted her to help you instead of standing there and staring. What was she supposed to do, remove the stuff off your lips for you? She gave you the correct information about how to use the product, what you do with the information was not up to her. I believe she probably was rude like you said, but she wasn't wrong, and she's not dumb or hasn't been trained. Looks like maybe you need to do your homework.
I work at a store where when it's time for a return or an exchange, it's our policy to ask for a license and the computer will literally not allow me to process that until I've typed in the information on the ID. If you forget your ID or don't want to show it, I have no other options, the computer will literally not let me have any way around it.
Did you seriously think they were going to give you all the points for forwarding an email? Come on, that's common sense.
Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous.
First of all - ten minutes to bring the drink is not his fault usually. They have to wait for the bartenders to make it. So if it takes the bartender 10 minutes to make it, the waiter has no way to bring it out any quicker.
Half an hour for food is the kitchen's fault. I noticed you didn't say he brought the food out after a half an hour and it was cold. So presumably, he didn't let it sit there, he brought it out as soon as it was ready.
I'm not sure if you've ever eaten at a Friday's before this - but the whole restaurant is about flair and having a good time. It's a family party atmosphere, they tell their servers to have fun with whatever they do. Dancing is part of having fun. When they're not at your table, nothing is wrong with dancing.
Wearing hats is part of the uniform. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. They give them the basic uniforms and tell them to add flair. You're allowed to wear hats, jewelry, piercings, pins, things like that because they want you to show off your personality.
Underlining the gratuity with a smiley face was for you to know that you already tipped and that you didn't have to tip anymore on top of that. There were times when my gratuity was $40 and someone didn't see that, and they tipped $40 on top of that. So you should thank the server for underlining the gratuity in order to make sure you didn't tip more than you wanted to.
What a complainer. Sounds like you need a more boring, robotic restaurant to fit your tastes.
Friday's doesn't do reservations.
"told us that there we no servers in that section yet (it was 1:00pm!)"
Did you want to sit somewhere where no one was able to help you? Not all the severs come in at once. If you have ten servers come in at noon, and there are only 5 tables...then what? The others are wasting their time and the company is paying them for doing nothing. The arrival times of servers are always staggered. I don't understand why this is such a hard concept to follow. If a server is serving in one area of the restaurant and you want to sit at the opposite area, it might be hard to give you the best customer service possible because she's going to be running all over the place. They did that for your own sake, geez.
The only thing I don't understand is that Friday's only adds gratuity when there are 8+ people. Other than that...I'm with all the other commenters.
