My wife and I just joined Snap Fitness at a Michigan location. I was buzzed in. The lady at the Front desk said "welcome to snap Fitness how many I help you" A standard business greeting. I asked what would I be billed a month for a joint membership? 49.99 a month. If there is an annual fee? No. What are the sign up fees? waived because of a special. Any other fees? No except the card fees of 10 each one time fee. She went over our agreement we were signing clearly stating that if we choose to cancel, we must give a month notice prior to billing. She was very clear that we would be billed the 1st of the month. Gave us our access cards, kindly showed us around the gym. Asked us if we had any more questions and we were on our way. We came back later that night and worked out for a few hours. I haven't had any major issues, rudeness yet. We will most likely go at night because my wife works 2nd shift and is only able to work out at night on most days. Other then that Snap fitness so far is more affordable then Lifetime Fitness.
The main reason we joined Snap was it is open 24 hours, 365 days a year so we can work out whenever we want to, no annual fee either. As one Poster stated before, most gyms have a hefty annual fee and plus they lock you in for 12 months so you can't cancel until then. Also we don't have the money to purchase thousands of dollars in workout equipment either. Since we are paying the monthly membership fee to a gym, I feel more motivated to go since I know if I don't use it then I am still paying for it regardless. Sorry to others who have had issues with them.. So far we haven't had any and hope to never have any.
What snap Gym was this at? When we joined she never once forced us to join. She was quite friendly and offered any help or questions we had about the gym. I can't agree or disagree with your complaint because I wasn't there when it happened. If you had a non working card that's quite an issue. It seems like the owner there didn't care at all. It depends on who the owner hires at these gyms. Some gyms you get a great staff who is willing to help you. Other gyms you get no support.
Come on get real man. I've been to several home Depots all across Michigan and every single one of them I have gone into, they have asked to see my card and ID. Every single one of them. Lowes is the same way. If your credit card was stolen and they didn't check ID, how will they know that you are the actual owner of the credit card? Stop trying to pull the race card. How exactly do you know that you are the only one who got asked for ID that day? I bet when you left Home Depot, everyone in line who was using a credit card as payment got asked for their ID. I get asked for my ID whenever I use my credit card and I'm white. I don't feel like business are discriminating against me because I have to show ID each time. I actually feel better knowing that businesses are trying to stop identity theft before it happens.
What happens if someone stole my credit card and went to Home Depot, Lowes, Red lobster and all three places failed to ask for ID? They would forge my signature and they would go on a wild shopping spree. Now if all 3 places checked for ID and theirs didn't match then I bet they would be on the phone with the police and having them arrested.
It is because home Depot Hires random contractors from all over. They need to hire contractors that work exclusively only for home depot only. Lowes does the exact same thing. When we got our water heater put in by a Home depot contractor we had nothing but a great experience with him. He actually fixed something that was missing from code and we appriciated that a lot. Sorry about your experience though. Sounds to me like they are just trying to rip you off big time. The installation fee alone sounds fishy. On a door that costs so little, they shouldn't charge that high amount on the door. If your door went up from the original amount to 900 bucks, they are taking you for a nice ride. I wouldn't trust them for anything. Usually local contractors will do it for a lot less. Feel free to email me though and let me know what that other company quoted you on the door. Send me an email on here.
@ No contract I totally agree with you on the price. I added it up as well it ends up being about 600/year and Snap Fitness isn't even that big. Yes It has machines that I use but the fact that it's small, lacks equipment and also lacks having staff there at times when there needs to be. Like the Snap by my house has someone there from 8am-12pm then from 12-4pm there is no one staffed. They are only there until 8pm. It would be nice to have a staff member there later but the problem is they are always dead in there. They are hardly busy when I go in. So what does that tell me? It tells me that people don't like it. The Snap by my house has a free water machine. They don't have vending machines. I am canceling soon.
@Jo86. Well I liked Snap when we first signed up that is until they decided to take more money out of my account then they should have. I called Snap to update my CC information and the girl I spoke with said I was all set for the payment to come out of my account. Well come to find out that a few days later 69.99 comes out of my account. They charged me with a $20.00 fee. That's absurd. I was promised that it was taken care of and the payment would come out. I am not giving them a 3 week notice on change in my cc information when they should be able to change it right there. Needless to say I will be speaking with the Corporate offices of Snap fitness Tomorrow to complain about this company. The Lack of staff there is a complete joke. The location you work at might be better but the one here is a joke. For 49.99/month for 2 people to join is priced pretty high when I can go join a gym down the road and pay 10.00 a month. Snap has lost my business.
I've been in Walmarts before and I simply choose to boycott them. Every Walmart location that I have been to in Michigan has RUDE employees. I can relate to your situation because I was standing in line once where the line next to me there was this guy that waited 45 mins for service and once he got up to the front of the line you wanna know what the cashier told him? " Oh my shift is over i'm sorry" He said well can't you ring me up? No! my shift is over. Half of those managers that work at walmart shouldn't be managers. They have no management skills to begin with. So I'll agree no matter what time you go to any walmart on the weekend it's always busy. The managers will just stand around and won't open a register to help out either. I save More money at Vg's food center then I do at Walmart.
American Freight has a facebook page on there. You can post your problem with them about your furniture and they will help you out. I live here in Michigan and haven't run into any issues yet. Sounds like the salesman sold you cheap furniture. They do have cheap furniture there and more expensive ones. I was told that for my couch that Simmons has a lifetime warranty on the frame. I think you have to go through the manufacturer for your warranty and not American Freight. We just put one thing on Layaway from them to see how everything goes. If we like it then we'll purchase from them again in the future.
Think Cash is NOT a payday loan. They provide fast loans. I've used them in the past and have always paid them back in full. Until the last loan I took out with them I have been paying on it and it's getting me nowhere. Once you sign the agreement then you agree with the terms of the loan, interest rate and payments. If you took out a 1500.00 loan with them then if you don't pay it in full on your next payday then you'll get hit with the interest. They start charging you from the day you receive the loan money in your account. Tomorrow we are putting our loans from them in a debt consolidation program so that we can stop being charged by them. Think cash is the name of the company but actually First Bank of Delaware is the name of the bank they use for the loans. We are struggling badly in paying them back. They are good with helping you out but once you can't pay them back then they don't care they still want their money.
Their testamonials are not bogus. If you pay the loan in full when your payday comes you'll hardly have much interest to pay back. The people that talk in the videos all have paid back the loans on their next payday I'm sure. They are NOT a payday loan company but a short term loan company. I've used them in the past as they have bailed me out. Now I've taken out loans from them that I wasn't able to payback right away and now I'm paying for that. I agree though I will stop using them from this point on.
Think Cash is NOT a payday loan company. I called yesterday to inquire on my loan and asked if they were a payday loan company or a short term loan company. Payday loan companies typically do not run your credit reports. Think Cash uses Bank of Delaware as their bank for their customers loans. I've used them in the past and have always paid my loans back in full on payday. They are set up for you to borrow the money and pay in back as quickly as possible to avoid paying high interest. We have paid back about 700.00 in interest to them for one of our loans. When our payment is due they always send a reminder the day before in our inbox saying that tomorrow the payment is due.
Sallie Mae is a total rip off. If you're even one day late they charge you for the late fee. I have about 50, 000 in loans with them that I know regret ever taking out with them. They refuse to understand my situation as I am not employed right now but they still don't care about that. They only care about getting your money and refuse to help you out. Every time I call customer service I get someone who I can barely understand. Then I'm told 3 different stories by 3 different reps as to what forms I need to fill out for unemployment. This company is the WORST lending company that I've ever dealt with. They make it impossible to never pay back your loan with them.
If I were the CEO of Domino's I would FIRE any employee caught doing anything to anyones pizza. I would be going to each Domino store in every state and FIRE the entire staff if need be. Last time I had Domino's it was better then before. Sounds like that store is poorly managed.
Think Cash is NOT a payday loan company. They are a short term loan company. Yes I agree the interest rate is high. However the more loans that you take out with them and pay off the lower your APR rate will be with them. It starts out high and then once you pay off your loans and open another one in the future your interest rate will be lower. They are there for to take out the money to pay a bill and then pay it back as soon as possible. They are not a scam but they just have high interest rates is all. I currently have 2 loans with them now and I know that I have to pay those loans back.
I was just on a 2nd interview for selling Trugreen door to door. I was wondering should I just skip this job offer if they offer it to me? I have been reading mixed reviews on it. Trugreen sounds like it gets a ton of customer complaints. I'm just wondering if I should just skip this job if it is offered to me? I don't mind talking to people but I'm iffy about this Job. Any suggestions would greatly help.
