This complaint is just rediculous. I recently started working for vector. You do have to spend $147.00 to receive the sample kit, but it is a DEPOSIT, I can get that money back whenever I want. But just two of the seven knives in this sample kit cost over $150, so its like getting the other 5 for free.
And...
For $26.50 I am going to get a flatware set that normally costs just over $100.
For $22.50 I'm going to get another flatware set worth about $100.
For $96.00 I will receive 5 more knives, together with the original $150 sample kit it makes the homemaker set, worth $772.00
And for $150.00 I will get a set of 5 specialty knives. One of these five is a meat cleaver. The cleaver alone is worth $160.00
So you can think what you want, but for less than $500 I am going to own well over $1, 000 in cutco products.
Not to mention it only takes 8 appointments to make back that $147.00, and who the hell doesn't know 8 people they could show the knives to?
In all I will spend $443, it would only take 24 appointments to make that money back. The only requirements are that each person has a job and is at least 25 years old.
