The original complainant fails to disclose that she called Dr. Gaspar by phone, from another state, 600 miles away. The complainant also fails to disclose that she refused to bring the kitten in question to her own local veterinarian, as Dr. Gaspar had suggested to her. Dr. Gaspar couldn't examine the kitten over the phone. Dr. Gaspar is highly recommended by me and was the most compassionate and loving vet I have ever had the honor of knowing, to care for my cats. Most vets are apathetic and not friendly. Dr. Gaspar is just the opposite. I am appalled by the horrible lies spread by the complaining lady. Mary (Orland Park, IL)

Kat127: Kohl's did nothing wrong to you! You don't understand how money works. You say that you have a Debit Card but don't have a checking account, but you can't have a debit card if you don't have a checking account. The debit card is linked to your checking account. Most bill payments must be made through a checking account, hence their asking you for your routing number. Some utility companies will accept payment through a credit card, but the majority of bill payments must be made from a checking account. You have a Debit Card, which means you have a checking account. Pay your bill. Duh!

Maya882: I am certainly not a fan of seeing a credit line cut down as this does affect one's credit score rating. However, one thing I learned recently is that for ANY Credit Card to offer you a credit line, they have to set aside similar funds in case you use the card, so they can pay the merchant. Most of us don't understand this. For example, my card has a $20, 000 credit line. In this economy, the chances that any card issuer would just set aside $20, 000 in case I use my card, is slim. I would expect my credit line to be decreased as well. Most of our credit scores are messed up right now, and that is the only thing that keeps me from worrying about it too much.
I am very sorry for your loss. I looked at their website and found this info: "Make FromYouFlowers.com your online flower delivery choice and enjoy same day flowers and unmatched customer service. Your satisfaction is our top priority--our Same Day Flower Delivery Guarantee offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our flowers, gift baskets and services. Most of our flowers come with same day delivery--simply order before 3:00 in the recipient's time zone and the flowers can be delivered that day. Since we use a network of local florists nationwide, we can usually have your flowers delivered within hours of ordering. When you care enough to send flowers, trust FromYouFlowers.com to ensure they are beautiful, fresh and delivered right on time! "

They state that the delivery can be made WITHIN HOURS of ordering. You haven't provided enough information so we don't know what time you actually placed the order. While they offer SAME DAY service, it is hard to know just how quickly a local florist can fill the order. Their offer to refund your money sounds like they are honoring their guarantee.

Romy200a: You state, "I paid my credit card bill on saturday the 2nd. It was due on sunday the 3rd. I got hit with a late fee which then put me over the limit and and then the over the limit fee kicked in. That cost a total of 70.00 dollars for a bill that was paid on time. This is a pretty nice scam they have going here. Payments made on a weekend don't count but billing is ok."

You don't mention HOW you paid on your bill. Did you go to a BofA bank branch and pay there? Did you do it online? It depends on the cutoff time and also, considering this was a weekend, funds transfers take longer to process. If you read the fine print on the back of your statement you will see that there are parameters to consider as to when your account will be credited for a payment. You have to watch that closely and don't try to pay your bill the day before it is due, and certainly not on a weekend, for goodness sake! You caused your own problems.
Oh, okay Las Vegas, thanks for the clarification that you did order the flowers the day before, not the day OF the service. Also, that you were notified AS the service was starting wasn't clearly stated. Your original post, if reread, just didn't make that clear. It -sounded- as if they just couldn't deliver when the service was starting, not that they CALLED you when the service was starting. Yikes, I guess they need a week to be on time! Again, so sorry for your loss. A flower arrangement would have been a welcome sight.

heatherbirdlady: "Maybe" she has a savings account? That hasn't been established one way or another, and still does not solve her problem. The bottom line is that Kat127 does not understand that bill payments need to be paid with a check or cash, in most cases. You can pay -some- utilities with a CC or debit (if it has the MC or VISA logo) of course. But one can't pay a Kohl's CC bill the way she tried to do it. It's still not Kohl's fault. They did nothing wrong to Kat127.

Ninjamidget25, I think you are being overly-dramatic and holding a grudge over $23 which is not good for your health. Choose your battles and you won't feel so angry all the time. If the store policy is 30 days, you were lucky to get a store credit after 3 months. But, it's possible that the manager could have made an "executive decision" and given you the money back, but it seems that she was not in the mood to satisfy customers that day. She doesn't understand customer retention.

I'm not fond of Office Max because of the attitudes of the employees, and they never have the HP printer paper stocked. I end up going to Office Depot, which is farther away.

Use your in-store credit ASAP. I don't want you to come back complaining that there wasn't $23 on the card next year. LOL
Wow! This thread gives me bad flashbacks of when I used to be on Microsoft's WebTV service (c [protected]). Horrible little trolls everywhere, waiting to pounce upon the innocent and pride themselves on witty comebacks and prose. Are you guys and the peeps at M3C former WebTV users? Those webTV (now msntv) discussion boards trump anything else I've ever seen on the net. Horrible, horrible. They would gather like a pack of dogs and decimate any one of hundreds of discussion groups as they pleased.

There's even an alt.discuss group through GoogleGroups that has former WebTV subscribers rehashing the old stuff. Weird.
