Eforcity relies on a 30-day return policy for everything they sell. Even when you buy three toner cartridges at once and each lasts for several months. Well, one of mine was defective and I wrote the following (after many failed attempts to contact them):

On June 17, 2009, you shipped me three (3) units of ICANX25XXX01 as a single order. Invoice # was [protected]. Purchase order was 778723.

On or about September 1, I attempted to install the second toner cartridge but, after many tries, kept getting a black page. I read the warning that it might take several tries to get it to work, but it clearly was defective. I then installed the third cartridge and it worked fine.

It took three (3) calls to your customer service line (Sept 9, 16 and 23) before anyone returned my call (on or about September 26). By then I was too busy (and exasperated) to pursue the matter further. I made one final call yesterday (Oct 12) which no doubt elicited your email response.

This is a $34 item. My billing rate is $400 an hour. I have already wasted $200 of my time chasing a $34 refund. If I need to spend one more minute pursuing this claim, it's one minute too much.

If you value my business, I suggest that you refund the cost of the defective cartridge without further discussion. If not, I am just as happy to add my voice to the chorus of other dissatisfied customers who have expressed their negative opinions in public forums.
