YES Maggie, there is a legitimate reason to ask for a credit card. They need to determine if you are credit worthy as they are going to try and sell you a product that will require a loan.

A debit card most definitely is not a credit card.

Just be glad you didn't sit through a boring presentation. I've never heard of someone posting a complaint that they didn't qualify for a timeshare presentation! lol
I don't agree, so I'm rude... How juvenile.

The tone in my remarks is that of rationality. Read what people are saying...95% is irrational BS as a self-serving diatribe to justify their acting irresponsibly. Then they get the opportunity to post it on the internet.

I certainly do not work for Carnival. It's just too easy to read these posts and see the general public does not take care to understand and/or read about their purchases or agreement that they are entering into.

I guess the only good news here is that now I know that if I select Carnival for my next vacation I won't have the displeasure of runnning into Ms. Z.
This is such a bad internet "tall tale". Please give me one reason why your address would be part of a key.

This just shows that people will believe anything...

You should by some magic acai berry weight loss pills I saw advertised on this site.

Did you receive a confirmation letter? IHG always sends those. It seems like you could have spotted the error on this.
If location was so important to you, why didn't you use a service that allows you to pick the hotel rather than allowing Hotwire to pick it for you?

Hotwire is not a scam, it's actually one of the top travel websites on the internet. You should have read the terms and conditions that you agreed to when purchasing.

It's not fair for you to slander a company because you don't pay attention.

Why do you want to see Christmas shoes on tv?

This isn't even a complaint. You are stupid and obviously showed up for your flight late and are blaming AirTran.

I recommend just staying home. Traveling seems difficult for you.

Regards.
Advertising is successful if it creates an emotional response. It clearly did so for you. Job well done Reebok.

Not porn, just edgy.

My wife is very physically fit and desires to purchase this product.

I think you should just drop this and focus on your family. The hotel has made it clear that that have no interest in helping you.

The best "revenge" any consumer can achieve is to never spend money with that business again.

Not the best advice(I admit)...
Oh my, what a horrific vacation! lol

You need to learn how to relax Mr. Cranky-Pants.
Hey RghtBkatU...

I'm ignorant? In one of you other posts you call yourself "colored" . Didn't that die in the 70's?

Who is ignorant?

TOOL!
I was wondering what the reviews of a 6, 000 person ship would be like.
Why didn't you read the terms and conditions?

No one to blame but you!

Nice letter but:

Is this the first trip you ever planned for a group? It sounds like it.

Isn't your group coordinator there to take care of the paid customers rather than "enjoy my first day"?

You just posted an advertisment for not using OKIC Travel. Anyone doing a google search will also get to read this detailed letter of a travel agency unable to handle a group.

Good Luck in 2010!

Good job tool!

Be glad they were doing a detailed investigation. Your story is suspect as food poisoning take 6-8 hours to rear its ugly head.

Something obviously affected you and your family. The Ritz just needs further information to determine what really happened.

Don't take offense...unless of course this is fake and then I could understand your apprehension.
Why didn't you check first to see if the Marriott charged for parking? Seems like if you did that then you wouldn't need to bad-mouth them online.

None of this is deception! I saw the same offer and took the time to read the small print. It didn't look like it would work for me so I didn't book.

Why didn't you do the same? Now you go online and complain? I'm sorry but this makes you look very stupid.

Dude you are a freak and horribly insecure...

(Funny too)
Hey Lindsey...Did you know that airlines and hotels can change their pricing at any time? You know what else Lindsey...A third party travel provider would have to pass this along to you.

They offered a $50 voucher because they knew the price that they didn't control has changing. Seems like a nice gesture.

This tells me they care about the customer. So sorry it didn't work out for you.
Are you sure this is how everything happened...

I have a feeling there's more to this.
Something doesn't sound accurate here...

Is this really what happened? You really made reservations for a closed hotel and La Quinta hung up on you?

Really?
