I too have had immediate issues upon purchasing the Maytag French Door unit in January of 2013. My unit had to have a new compressor, lost all food within the regular warranty period. Took over a week (no refrigerator) to get part, no reimbursement for loss of food in refrigerator or freezer. Now a little over a year later the ice maker quits working, have to purchase a new ice maker for $300.00 had it installed, less than 30 days later it is not working again. Is Maytag ever going to make these units right? I will NEVER purchase another Maytag or Whirlpool product (apparently the same maker). My Model number is MFI2665XEM7. UNBELIEVABLE POOR Customer Service!
