there us good company NET10 they dont give u hiddin fees CS is respectful and pleasent always helpful we have used NET10 since July 22, 2017 and always have reliable service never dropped a call any problems we had was with the PHONE amd not NET10. NET10 is free activation they give you 2months of minutes and service for FREE they charge a flat rate of 10c a minutes ALWAYS no lies they charge 5C per textmessage and never anymore phones are decent and do what a phone is suppose to do - make and recieve calls - they have been our primary phone company since we got the phones in July 2017 and as of september 08 have been our ONLY phone provider. only 48 a month for 3 phones which is cheaper than what we paid on our landline every month which is why we went with them. almost a year with them and service is outstanding i do not think i personally will ever switch
plus i forgot to mention before going to NET10 we did have T-Mobile never any decent signal always dropped calls and always cut out
sounds just like T-Mobile just get NET10 and save yourself from this hastle
This doesnt at all sound like NET10 i have to get a new phone due to a faulty phone that i have 56.00 minutes on and service set to end July 2010 i got the new phone and online activated it they have me 60 minutes when my phone only had 56.00 plus the 300 minutes and 60 days of service on top of the service days i had already so i have 575 service days left and 360minutes then adding it to the minute plan as my old phone is i got an addition 150 minutes and an addition 30 days of service i was told up to 3 days to transfer i activated the phone at 10am go tminutes and servie along with my number transfered instantly and by 2:30pm that SAME day my phone was fully running i have never had a problem with NET10 Customer service other than tryin to understand them
Richard, To fix this problem re-enroll you phone in the Free international plan
NET10 clearly states no refunds on lost airtime balance. If you get reconditioned phones you will have this problem we did and within 3 minutes of being on th eline with NET10 they got the 300 minutes and 60 days of sevice i was entitled to upon activation added to the phone i asked them why it did this they said because the phone needed to be reprogrammed since it was a previously used phone. I also recieved this phone with no SIM card, a nonworking phone charger, and a battery that didnt hold a charge they sent all three for FREE at teh same time and everything worked fine they DO speak english just broken english you might need to ask several time to repeat themselves and talk to tehm in a completely silent area such as a car or garage
This IS NOT NET10 NET10 does NOT give you a phone with a phone number on it already you havee to activate it with a NEW or TRANSFERRED number and you gut you 300 minutes automatically you got a failed appempt to buy minute online then u CALL them tell them you bougt minutes and it didnt go through they will ask the serial number of your phone and will SEE that you purchased uncevieved minutes they will then tell you to go into the Code Entry Mode and enter n a code in which ADDS the minutes to the phone NET10 is not as impossible as you people make them out to be ive NEVER not ONCE had a problems with customer service
The problem with sayin itll take two weeks was because you old phone had a outdated SIM card technoligy the new phone have colour SIM cards that are faster and work better i had this problem too called every 3 days and they said they are having trouble porting the number in with the NEW SIM Technoligy for the OLD 2 weeks later it was active and i had to get myself a new phone because of mine failing and it had the old SIM card my new phone has the newer faster SIM card and i activated and ported my number at 10am by 2pm it was fully working
only way NET10 will terminate your service with airtime and service days still on the phone is if you VIOLATE the terms of use which means using it OUTSIDE the USA or texting international numbers
Theresa: NET10 gets usable reception everywhere SIM cards have NOTHING to do with it only way they determin a SIM card is bad is if u get a PUK code or a SIM PUK Code message. at the date of your post NET10 was using now-outdated SIM technoligy so the 2 week process will only happen if you are either importing a LANDLINE number or if you are importing another number for a contracted carrrier when it is another carrier it takes longer than if you are transfer from Tracfone or another NET10 phone.
Sol: If you dont recieve the minutes and your card is charged you call them and tell them u ordered minutes and didnt get them tell teh your serial number and then go into the Code Entry Mode and enter the code(s) they provide
Wayne: dont base NET10 on negitive comments People that leave negitive comments about NET10 is due to the PERSON doing something NOT net10. I have had NET10 service for almost a year never a problem with Customer Service just the phone they are always helpful.
This is a problem With the w375 the w375 is not a good phone and they clearly state if you people ever read the FAQ it states that only content on the NET10 site can be downloaded and you dont know much its not a DOLLAR a minute for the internet its 10c if it was 100 id be 100 minutes a minute is 25c (like all carriers) to get MMS (Multimedia SMS) messages on the phone. Get a new phone the Motorola w375 is a dissapointment concidering the great quality of Motorola phones
SIM card DO NOT go bad your son was screwing around with the Security settings and locked the SIM card if the new SIM card dont work its a problem with the phone its not possible for NET10 to send a SIM CARD that is already used as if it was ued it would be in a phone and not sent to you.
Not a possible thing the card is swiped like a normal Debit or Credit Card it is system error just try again
they state on any online shopping site they CANNOT deliver to a PO Box they cannot gurantee delivery
this is BS if you are on NET10s Easy Minutes and are on the $15 plan it will be 16.20 a month EXACTLY this IS 10c a minuter NET10 doesnt charge 20 bucks it is 16.20 for taxes and the 911 service fee that is period. it is more expencive using the cards then using easy minutes.
RULE OF THUMB: Never buy a reconditioned phone DUH common sense people
they arent lying u ### 1 dollar would mean 100 minutes [censored] 1.00 MINUTES not DOLLARS .50 MINUTES a text not 50 cents dont make these commentes when u dont even no wat ur talking about
300 MINUTES (300.00) means 30 dollars which equals 10c a minute HAVE BRAINS
ITS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE ITS THE DIP ### THAT CALL THEM BEING STUPID AND NOT WILLING TO LISTEN THE MINUTES EXPIRED BECAUSE THE SERVICE ENDED DUH! YOU PEOPLE PISS OFF ME ALONG WITH ALL OTHER NET10 CUSTOMERS THAT LOVE ITS SERVICE
not true on the PUK code it didnt work for me and i called 611 (Tracfone) and they said rarely will u beable to unlock the SIM card when the PUK code thing is up ive found that true i still have 1 try left on my SIM card to fix it by trying hte SAME PUK code 9 times
Christopher K. Both the NET10 Motorola C155 and the Nokia 1600 aore obsolete phones if the phone works i say stay with the C155 as Motorola's are out and out better phones to use because they are virtually indistructable i know someone with the Nokia 1600 it is a complicated phone to navagate menues poor signal phones your better off with the c155 if you want a newer MOTOROLA phone NET10 has the V175, W375, W377 or the all new EM326G Slider phone.
atlantaguy: all you said is based on OPINION you are bashing NET10 just like everyone else i have been using NET10 a little of a year my whole family (except my sister) uses NET10 and it is our only phone no landline anymore we dropped T-Mobile for NET10 in July we tried it out and in August 2008 we canceled out landlines because with NET10 we save over 500 a year on the phone bills and NET10's Airtime On Demand feature saves us money because then all we got to do is buy 300 minutes every 2 months or 600 ever 4 months me and my mom have done 3 phone upgrade our service is good until 9/14/2011 so we will just buy airtime when we need it Customer Service you hardly ever need to deal with everything you can handle online NET10 reps are in several countries they are pretty good and always help you short tempered people are probably the reason you have such hassles
JBe i fully agree with you i have never had a problem with NET10 service or Customer Service
and NET10 phones ARE NOT too costly all prepaid phones average NET10's price TRACFONE is cheaper on phone because it is 33 cents a minute
