The Press Enterprise / PE.com Billing Receipts

A receipt for my payment...that's all I want! My company pays for a year of service which is automatically charged to our credit card on file. I never receive a notification that the payment is due and once the payment I don't even receive a confirmation that the payment has been made. I have called 3 times to request a copy of the receipt...each time they apologize and promise to send me my receipt in a couple of hours...it never comes. I just want my receipt!

Desired outcome: To get my receipt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Press Enterprise / PE.com I've been living at my address for quite months

I've had 1 paper delivered and why am I paying again. They keep delivering to my old address. I even spoke to the gentleman that delivers and he can't get it right. I'm even more upset that u keep charging me for something I've bever even recieved. I've complained and called many times. I'm fed up.

The Press Enterprise / PE.com scam newspaper service/subscription scam

My husband was stopped in front of a grocery store by a Press Enterprise newspaper salesperson. The person said if he paid $12.39 once, he would get the Sunday paper for a year and not have to pay agin. He would also get free gift cards from 7-eleven and amazon. Well we got ONE newspaper and its been MONTHS and they've been deduction $12.39 from our account without authorization . Don't sign up for these things...

The Press Enterprise / PE.com too many charges on my card. never have received 1 of my sunday papers since dec. 2017.

I signed up in December 2017 for the digital subscription with Sundays print. I've never got any Sunday print this whole time. At first they were billing me $12.42 about every 4 weeks. Then on 4/20/18 i was charged $12.42. Then 2 weeks 6 days later on 5/10/18 i was charged $15.53, then only 13 days after that on 5/23/18 they charged another $12.42 to my card. 3 weeks 2 days after that on 6/15/18 i was chearged $12.42, and once again 2 weeks 4 days later on 7/5/18 they charged me $21.55. I'm pissed. WTH do they keep charging me so much for? I tried calling and they were closed but their automated service said i have a balance of $21.48 and I'm paid up until August. I don't even want this [censored]ty service anymore. Like i said they have never given me one Sunday print this whole time. So don't subscribe to them they will only rip you off.

The Press Enterprise / PE.com 3rd week no paper

3 weeks now I've called & left messages for a Sunday paper. No response & no paper. Last Monday I actually talked with someone who reassured me that I would get my paper 2/18. Nope. Nothing & even after another phone call - still no paper.

Sunday is the only day I have a subscription for & yet that can't even be counted on. No more. What's it going to take to get a paper? After this I wouldn't even consider a daily.

The Press Enterprise / PE.com morning newspaper delivery

I have called to complain about Delivery of the Morning paper so very many times, it is past ridiculous. We moved here 7 years ago and this problem of afternoon Delivery started about 6 months ago. Many calls to complain go unheard where no one does anything to correct the problem. We no longer get the Morning paper to have with our Morning coffee. We get the paper between 1:00 PM and 3:15 PM. I do not understand how this is acceptable to management and definitely Not for the Owner. No one ever calls us back even though I have asked to talk to the Supervisor Or the Manager.
Thank you for your time I would appreciate some Help to receive the Morning paper in the Morning.

No delivery for the last 10 days-called every day sometimes multiple times was told next day delivery did not happen. on sunday july 20there was notice on front page said there was delay in delivery call if paper is missedthis is not right — there wasn't a delay it was non delivery for the last 10 days-this should have been disclosed bad communication we pay a very high price for the subscrition the paper gets smaller and smaller less riverside county news more ads and rates keep going up — now we are not getting delivery for a paper we have already paid for. have never had such bad customer service in all the years I have been receiving the paper (since 1980) as a senior citizen it does take quite a chunk to keep my subscription going but I enjoy my paper and have grown up reading the pe my parents - its time this problem was rectified and subscribers were told the real problem something is very wrong customer service can't seem to answer questions someone should know whats happening and subscribers should be notified — you can't even buy a paper at newspaper racks or at a market

The Press Enterprise / PE.com CONTIOUS LATE AND MISSED DELIVERIES

I have been subscribing to this newspaper for over 6 months. From day one we have had late and missed deliveries.
I have made numerous phone complaints, asked to have the supervisor call me on several occasions, and never once a returned call. I am so fed up, but have no where else to turn.

I too live in murrieta and have been missing my newspaper and called and complained and no one returned my phone call either. So many people out there looking for jobs and instead they hire incompetent people. No wonder why people are turning to the Internet to read the paper. They don't need to deal with the expense or the rude people you get when you call to complain...

The Press Enterprise / PE.com Subscription Scam that won't stop!

Today is Wed., 24th of April, 2012, and I am currently embroiled in a miserable scam by the Press Enterprise. I have been trying for over a month to get them to quit littering the street in front of my home with their papers.

I had ordered and paid for 13 weeks of Sunday only, and was assured it would end unless I called to subscribe for more. But it hasn't stopped and they have escalated to throwing papers in front of my house Th, Fri, and Sat also. I have called and talked to Frank Escobedo at least 8 times requesting that the deliveries cease and desist. I called Mr. Escobedo because Aaron J. Kotarek, the head of Circulation and Distribution, NEVER answers his phone and NEVER returns calls, and no matter how nice the customer service representative is, nobody at the paper EVER listens to them or follows through on what the service rep. assured me was "taken care of".

This is dishonesty and corruption to the core. Now the bills are piling up and I DO NOT WANT THIS PAPER DELIVERED TO MY HOME AT ALL! How do I stop this nightmare?

I used to subscribe weekly to the press. I paid $103.48 per yr 2011 and 2012
$78.00 per yr 2013 and 2014 This was a senior disabled vet special rate. I would like to subscribe but the prices quoted to me are beyond by affordability I tried calling but waited over 20 minutes and no one picked up I am 77 and only had my tv and newspaper for entertainment. Do you have any rates for people like me.

The Press Enterprise / PE.com false subscription billing

Signed up for a 1 time 20 issue subscription cash with an agreement that there would be no further deliveries.
I don't even know how many they delivered because after the first few we opened the rest went straight into garbage from the driveway.
now 4 moths later the sent a bill to collection agency for 28.04 dollars to Joseph Mann and Creed.
I called the main office and they said they are not responsible for what the people selling their newspapers offer their customers.

this whole thing is a scam and the paper looks like something the high school paper would print.
28 dollars is not much but its the principal of it and the way they treat their customer that is wrong.
I give the a 4 thumbs down for service and quality.

The Press Enterprise / PE.com HORRIBLE SERVICE

Worst customer service I've ever encountered, signed up for 11 week sunday only subscription, havn't got my paper delivered 3 weeks in a row. Thats not even the worst, everytime you call to ask for it your on hold for 10 to 20 mins. Ive sent 3-4 emails left message with Michael a "supervisor" and have made multiple calls to customer service no calls back! I guess with all the internet news website they're not worried about losing any customers. I will never sign up for another subscription with them again

This is the worst service I can imagine. They offered a subscription at a fixed price for a one year service. Then they sent out notices that they could not afford to honor their end of the subscription. Next they sent a bill asking for more money to keep the service going.
