I reached out to posigen in 7/21 with this email " I reached out to sales rep recently to express that water has been coming into my home with all rain that has been occurring. I have to note that where the panels were placed is a "NEW ADDITION" and "NEW ROOF". It appears that when placing the panels, there was significant damage to the roof as water is now...

PosiGen Installation

II am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the lack of service provision from PosiGen Solar Company, despite entering into a service agreement in April of 2022.Since the installation of solar panels at my residence, I have been eagerly anticipating the promised services outlined in our agreement. Regrettably, it has now been well over a year, and I have yet to receive any of the services that were expected to be provided as part of the agreement. This situation has left me feeling both inconvenienced and concerned about the integrity of our business relationship. My attempts to communicate with your company's representatives have proven to be an uphill battle. I have repeatedly tried to reach out to resolve this matter, but responses have been scarce, and when received, they have lacked clarity and resolution. Furthermore, the inspectors responsible for assessing the installation have redirected me to PosiGen, emphasizing that the onus is on your company to address the issues.I understand that unforeseen challenges can arise in any business, but the lack of communication and transparency from PosiGen has been disheartening. I am left with no option but to formally register my complaint in the hope that it will prompt a timely and appropriate response.

Desired outcome: Activation of installation

PosiGen I signed a contract with Posigen on May 15th 2022 to perform a roof replacement and solar panel installation

I signed a contract with Posigen on May 15th 2022 to perform a roof replacement and solar panel installation. The signed contract included costs to perform the roof replacement and installation of solar panels and a loan was secured from *** by Posigen to fund the project. the first week of September 2022 they notified me the solar panels were ready to be installed and I asked about the roof. They responded saying they would need to figure that out and get back to me. About a week later they said they would not perform the contracted roof work with their only reason was they were unable to place a dumpster in-front of the house. I offered to handle waste removal and after another week, they came back with a quote to do the roof for $40,000 in the middle of September 4 months after signing the contract to do the roof and solar panels in May. the original contract amount provided by Posigen was $21,176, so they were holding the solar installation hostage unless they received another $40,000. I recently received a quote from another roofing contractor and they are quoting $18,500 to do the same roof, but this quote is 5 months later with obvious material and labor increases since the contract with Posigen was signed back in May.

From 2016 until now in the agreement from posigen they removed the solar panels but left the brackets in my roof .Nobody came out to do anything about the brackets that's was left in my roof. In the agreement is says :Whereas, in consideration of customer executing this this release, *** will remove the System ***, patch the roof to ensure it's free of water intrusion associated with solar installation and terminate customer lease of solar equipment. Here is the proof that the brackets are still left on top of my roof and now it's leaking in my room.Description of what's left EscoFasten Mounting Brackets with Flashing Model # GFI-BLK-812. We have called for repair. The contract says hey would see the problem and come fix it Now they att disconnected their product and they cannot see problems. Well I called for about 6 months or more to get the problem fixed and they refuse to fixed problems. They know Entergy is charging way more then they should with the Panels. They decided not to response and fix the panelsref. Its been broken for about a 6 to 12 months and we have contacted them to fix the problem. Saving will help Entergy to gain more money. We loss and that one panel was a help to us. The contract has a clause that when our bill has no saving we would not owe the monthly note for the panels. They refuse to discount it or fix it. That hurts us but not them so please have them fix my panels and refund my monthly bill since we are getting large energy bills. Thank you, ***. No response from *** Complaintsboard.com

PosiGen I've been complaining for year about my electric bill is to high even with these solar panels on my roof at first my bill was $50 to $60 a month

I've been complaining for year about my electric bill is to high even with these solar panels on my roof at first my bill was $50 to $60 a month but 5or6 months after they were installed my bill jump to $200/250 a month they would always tell me that there was a rate hike at the power company now I need a roof replaced on my house so I had to have them taken off my roof so I can have roof done they have been off for 2 months and my light has not changed my bill is still $245 this month so these panel haven't been saving me anything for the last 8 year's and I have been paying them $55 a month and I also have a solar water heater and when I got the heater back then they told me I would pay $20 a month for 5 years so when I contacted them to get the heater exchanger taken off my roof they tell me they don't service the heaters they would have to get an outside contractor and it would cost me $2000 to have them come out to remove it so I started to talk to them to see about them removing the heater completely because I should have been done with my contact they said no my contract is for 20 years and the price will go up every 5 years I would have never signed up for that lone because the solar panels is only for 10 years they changed the contract on me

A PosiGen Representative, *** contacted us back in November and brought her Supervisor, *** into our home where they explained the solar energy plan and worked with us to setup and install solar panels on our house. We signed the contract, agreed to the deal, which included them getting this completed and set with PSE&G by Feb. 2022. They came in and installed the panels and told us that the next steps would be for them to have their installation inspected and then set up with PSE&G and that we should be up and running, as I mentioned, by the middle of February 2022. We are still not set up, and cannot get anyone at PosiGen to respond to our calls to explain when they will finish, so we can reap the benefits of solar energy, as our energy bills for our home are very high and why we started this process to begin with. I have repeatedly called and text the *** who has tried to help us and has reached out to her Supervisor but has been reprimanded for trying to help us, all this while they continue to ignore our calls. We cannot get anyone to address our issue and initiate the service. We need the Complaintsboard.com's assistance in getting this resolved ASAP. I will be checking the Retired VA box, as my fiance, (we both own the home), and he is the one who signed the PosiGen contract

PosiGen PosiGen Panels were placed on my home and later the roof was in need of replacement

PosiGen Panels were placed on my home and later the roof was in need of replacement. I called and was told I had to pay $1950.00 for removal I questioned this then read my contract which stated $1800.00 I tried to dispute the matter to no avail. I was told that I had to pay for the emergency vehicle to move the panels for storage .I went to the Central Avenue office here in New Orleans and paid the $1950.00. My wife then received an invoice requesting payment she sent several emails to inquire she could not get them to explain , then they refused to respond any more. Finally they came out to remove the panels. We had the roof repaired in December it took one day. A week after the new roof was installed I called to have the panels replaced someone told me they will be out January has come and gone and the panels are not replaced. I have since called several times whenever they answer the phone after a twenty to thirty minute hold speaking to different people , only to be told they will sent the request to the correct department, when asked for the number to call and supervisors or CEO I was told they do not have the contact numbers but they will shoot an email to the department. How do I resolve this when I am making my monthly payments and don't know who else to call? What steps do I take now? Thank you for your assistance.

I have called posigen on multiple occasions complaining about not getting enough use of energy from the panels and requested someone come to the property and access and no one showed up. Calling is a *** because they put you in hold and never comes back. They hang up everytime you request for panels to be removed. My roof needs urgent fixing due to storm damaged and they have provided no help in removing them. The last representative told me I may have to pay the remainder of the months in addition to $150 per panel to remove. She put me on hold then hang up. I am frustrated as I am concern my kids will get sick if mold starts to grow

We paid $1,800 to have solar panels removed and then replaced after our roof was replaced. The panels were removed, and our roof was replaced. When the solar panel were put back on the roof, they were not put up back in the same place where the original panels were placed, nor have the panels been reconnected. We are paying for a service that we do not currently have. We also paid for the service for the weeks the panels were down. We want the panels to be put back in their original places on the roof and to be connected, and any damage to my new roof from the wrong placement of the panels, we want repaired by my roofer and paid for by Posigen. We have tried to contact Posigen by phone and email for several weeks and we have been told the issue has been escalated and someone will contact us, but as of today, no one has contacted us.

August *** hit damaging our roof, almost half a year later they get around to trying to fix their panels laying in my yard. Only to have sub contractors use unapproved mounts drilling holes through my new $17,000(thousand dollar) roof. Both layers of single and into decking. Then abandon the job with no repair and NO CONTACT after multiple multiple calls. This has got to be breach of contract failing to have service for almost a YEAR. And damaging not only mine but my neighbors roof as well. I've asked to be put in touch with way higher up management as the lower tier fail to do anything. At this point I would like to have the contract in breach dissolved and my roof repaired and be done with the worst company I've ever dealt with. They refuse to reply to multiple emails and phone calls. But have no problem sending late fees and just now a text saying deferment has ended even tho panels are on the ground along with the inverter.

PosiGen This company has the poorest customer service and sales reps!

This company has the poorest customer service and sales reps! I have many complaints with this company but Ill focus on the main issue. I got panels and started being charged March . Since being charged my online account that shows our savings with the panels shows N/A. I was told once they start producing we should see a savings. Okay sure, well fast forward September still showing N/A. I reach out repeatedly calling and emailing with no call back or response. I get in touch with another persons rep and explain the problem so they get in touch with my rep to call me. I then get a call back from my rep that the issue will be resolved and a line of communication via email was open. The issue was never resolved as shown in screen shots that I have proof of not including the many other calls and emails I have sent to fix this issue. Since having the panels Ive been charged with ZERO proof they are saving us anything! I no longer want to do business with them and would like to get out of my contract with no penalty or charge to me for this many months of not fixing my problem! Im sick of calling and being on hold for hours to only get transferred to leave a voicemail and never get a call back. Should I ever have a time sensitive issue I dont want want to have to deal with chasing them down or having to write a bad review to get a problem fixed.

PosiGen This is an ongoing issue

This is an ongoing issue. I've filled a complaint here previously and I received contact from Posigen saying they were going to do all sorts of things to solve my issues. Never happened. Now, again, I'm having issues with being able to get in their website. My password needs to be changed every few months and I'm never able to get back in and I have to spend entirely too much time on the phone trying to get it straight. When you call their main office on Central Ave, their rude people will hang up on you or put you on hold for a long time then disconnect on you. I shouldn't have to do this every few months to pay my bill! Now I've complained in the past of their system not living up to the promised results. Today while taking to a different person trying to be able to access my online account, I was provided proof that these panels saved me about $3 in the last 12 months. I want them removed and roof repaired to pre- install condition. agreed to having these installed under false pretenses and demand to be made whole. I've asked multiple people, multiple times to have someone with authority to contact me. Never happened. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm not begging them to pay every month. They can contact me to resolve issues. I'm done with Posigen and their horrible customer service. I certainly hope this can be settled out of court.

PosiGen I signed a contract for a 6.9kw solar system

I signed a contract for a 6.9kw solar system. After Posigen got me access to the monitoring site, I noticed I had 250watt max microinverters. The solar panels are 265watt panels. I have 25 panels on my house. With the microinverters limited to 250watts, I actually have a 6.250kw solar system on my house and I'm paying for a 6.9kw system. Recently, a Posigen tech came over to look over the system for a checkup and confirmed that I have the wrong equipment installed as per my contract. He also let me know he sent all this info into the Posigen office. I've tried and tried to contact Posigen in the last couple of years and never received call backs. Is it because they know they messed up and don't want to fix it but continue to receive my money for the contract. I'm fed up and working with my attorney on a breach of contract. Soon, the solar system will be mine at their expense due to lack of reaching contractual agreements. It seems Posigen only wants your money and does not fulfill the contractual agreements when they make a mistake. Stay away from this country. I advise everyone who did business with them to inspect their systems and look for irregularities. If you notice, someone by the name of "Lisa" is replying to everyone's complaints but doing nothing to correct the issue with everyone. Simply a minor coverup on complaintsboard.com websites to make it look like they're trying to fix issues. It is not the case!

PosiGen We purchased a house and transferred solar panels from the previous owner

We purchased a house and transferred solar panels from the previous owner. The previous owners were elders. They were under the assumption that they had working solar panels. They paid them until we took ownership and we began paying them. The solar panels did not work. They provided no savings and were not hooked up correctly. We took ownership of the house 9/21. Throughout the year, we have called and made several attempts to have the panels repaired. Posigen's response was to randomly send, never a scheduled visit, a technician to just start working on the side of my house. we have been startled at least 3 times by men just showing up and without ask, start working on the panels. Before hurricane ***, the panels did not work. When we returned from the storm, Posigen was there to "fix the panels." We had extensive roof damage. We asked that the panels be removed so that we could fix the roof. Upon removal of the panels, the guy didnt know how many to remove, as some of the panels were not Posigen's. None of them were hooked up and 8 of the 24 were the previous owners', ie our panels. At that moment with all the increased problems with the service, it made no sense to have them restart. We would like to cancel. Now Posigen wants to charge a cancellation fee of *** for something that never worked, and that they never fully serviced. That they have been receiving monthly payment for since 2019. Posigen does not have record of even what they gave to this customer. This customer had panels, inverters, and other solar materials that Posigen does not have accounting for. The 16 panels and invertors that are theirs, they can have to resale.

PosiGen Due to hurricane Ida

Due to hurricane Ida...we had to redo our roof. Called Posigen. They said it would be $3,600 to take off the solar panels and reinstall them after the roof was finished. We paid the $3,600 on 12/15 and got an email from Posigen that they received it on 12/17. We had asked them since we've been having the solar panels for approx. 7 or so years that they be cleaned. They said they would clean them PRIOR to putting them back on the roof - no problem. After our roof was finished we asked them to please reinstall and again reminded them before they install to please clean them. They said they see the note in there and no problem. They set the installation date for March 17, 2022. They reinstalled them in a different pattern than they originally were installed and that concerned us because originally someone came out and said where the correct positioning would be to have the most benefit of the solar panels. They sat in this new pattern on the roof UNCLEANED for a long time before anyone came out to hook them up to the house. But turns out they actually did NOT hooked them up to the house yet. My husband and I have called NUMEROUS times - I would say 20 times each...asking for them to be CLEANED and installed correctly. TO THIS DAY - they are UNCLEANED, in a different pattern and NOT HOOKED UP to our house. It's infuriating to know we can call and someone will be nice on the other end...and say "oh yes, we have to get someone out there...someone will call and you'll be put on the schedule" and then NOTHING...for goodness sake it's been almost 9 months and mind you we're still paying the monthly fee $60 every month while we get NO WHERE and I'm done. I'm so very frustrated with them I don't even want to call them anymore.

PosiGen It started in December with installing Solar panels on our house

It started in December with installing Solar panels on our house. The install already starts with a nightmare! We had high voltage cable wire tied to our telephone cable. We had the first water coming into our house in January 2022. They checked and yes the panels were incorrect installed. We need a new roof. It was replaced by the company in May 2022. *** no name just looked like some illegal immigrants. So much damage was created, but fine! We thought PosiGen fixed everything. We failed first town inspection, wrong wires, wrong layout etc. July comes with a heavy rain storm, and we have water poor into our house. Now it is getting harder to get a response from PosiGen. They came out and sure enough we need another roof. When the panels got removed we noticed the panels were halfway only clued to the shingles, just a few screws were found. This would be a big disaster if the panels fell of the roof.We got a new roof installed now with damages on my windows, only half of the roof is shingled! The list is endless We failed second inspection with the Town! Need new layout! My kitchen, attic, porch destroyed from water. Now the company tells me everything is fine and correct installed, but the town inspector failed it! To make matters worse, the second roofing company used a fake company name. We asked for a portable toilet, but was not provided on our property. My 15 year old daughter opened the shades, and saw a roofer peeing into a water bottle! With no remorse! He just waived at her.I received an email on August 22nd, with an offer to cancel the lease agreement, money Offer for damage in the house. The ending of this agreement said with signing this agreement you cant talk about this matter anymore! I only could include 1 photo of 4 failed inspections, but my documentation is endless!

PosiGen November posigen placed solar pannels on my roof

November posigen placed solar pannels on my roof. They explained the process will take up to 3 months from start to finish, It is now August 2022 and the panels are not connected. They are just sitting on my roof.I called Posigen in January 2022 inquiring about the status. I was told that PSEG was the cause of the hold up.they needed to do and inspenction and give the okay. I spoke with PSEG and was told that was not the case. Posigen needed to send then part 2 of the application process. I received an email in June 2022 from PSEG to Posigen stated that part 2 was sent to a closed PSEG account.January 2022 converted my PSEG from personnel to a bussiness account. This is my fault for not informing posigen. I explained to Posigen what the new account is and provided them all the necessary documents, They resent part 2 in the business business, but did not correct and resend part 1 because that was still in the personnel account. Now PSEG reached out to them again via email with me cc'd and informed them that they need to send part 1 with the business name and account number, this back in July 2022 As of today, Posigen have not sent part 1 of the application to PSEG. I have called on numerous occasions to speak with my conciege, and no return calls, so I don't know what is happening. *** says, we will have her call you back I have asked customer service to have someone come and remove the panels so i can go with another more reputable company and my request falls on deaf ears.if i am experiencing this problem now, what will happened when i have an issues and need help I have not started paying because they say they will only bill when the panels are up and running. I wasted my time and energy going with this company.if you can help me 1, get the job done or get the pannels off my roof. I will really appreciate it.

PosiGen Almost a year ago I took over the solar panel lease from previous home owners

Almost a year ago I took over the solar panel lease from previous home owners. The solar panels performance have been absolutely disappointing. After checking the solar edge application that shows solar production, I noticed that the panels have never produced the estimated energy that it supposed to produce (contract started in May ). I have attached a snippet of the estimated productivity vs the actual productivity of the panels for reference. Posigen is aware of my complaints and agree that there is something wrong with the solar production but the only response I get is that someone will call me back which never happens. Additionally, the lease comes with free maintenance and it's only free because they will never come! I've been asking for maintenance on the panels since Hurricane IDA and still no one has come by even though they were supposed to provide that service when I took over the contract. I have an email from Lauren B, collections manager, explaining all the benefits that come with me keeping the solar lease. In the email, there is line reading "After taking a closer look into the system, it looks like it might be eligible for some updated equipment to further increase productivity which is completely covered under the maintenance and serving clause of the contract. Should you wish to fulfill the lease obligation, that equipment would be dispatched at no charge." I took over the lease and no maintenance has been done nor any additional equipment has been installed. Also, I am in need of replacing my roof but Posigen requires me to pay beforehand to remove and replace which is understandable but there is no way I will pay to remove and replace for a solar panel system that does not work. Posigen hasn't fulfilled their productivity promise since day one. account number is *** I would appreciate a response with an actual resolution from Posigen.

PosiGen Signed contract for new roof (March 2022)No further contact til I reach out in June 2022 ( website states 2 weeks til a new roof)Reached out

Signed contract for new roof (March 2022)No further contact til I reach out in June 2022 ( website states 2 weeks til a new roof)Reached out because my home owners' insurance was going to cancel my policy if this was not completed. After two weeks of begging for a letter stating a time frame for replacement for my insurance company, I received a letter stating installation of July ***. No further contact til July 12 when I called them to see when they were coming, was told I was not on the schedule. Directors of roofing got involved and was told roofers would be there Thursday (July 14th). Despite multiple calls and texts, *** did not show up until 5:26pm on Friday the 15th. Roofing and wiring was completed by July 19th. Received follow up call to go over final details of new roof. The rep did not know anything (thought I got new panels, not a new roof; didn't know how I would get these fixed if I had issues; tried to discuss, billing didn't know the company I was financing through) Specifically asked if I would be charge for August payment from previous panel lease, I was told no. On August 10th, $79.99 was drafted from my bank account. Call customer service (CS), cancelled auto pay request refund, never refunded had to dispute with my bank. Received text message reminding me of outstanding bill. Called CS, statements are sent automatically, no word on reversing charges. Received bill for September, called CS. "Please stop charging me. I no longer have this product." "Will get with our documents department." Today, additional text regarding past due bill, called CS, asked to speak with ***. Not in, no help to get this resolved other than Acct Mgr will call you. Also, frustrated as my panels did not work the last 50 out of 65 days, and no one contacted us (resulting in a $511 electric bill) refused to refund despite contact for maintenance of alert was never completed.

PosiGen My roof was damaged by Hurricane ***

My roof was damaged by Hurricane ***. My house is 90% gutted and unlivable. I was scheduled to have my solar panels removed on 11/1. I even called the customer service number that morning, who confirmed the date. However, no one showed up or even called regarding the removal of my solar panels! Posigen has delayed the repair of my home for almost 1 month. I initially contacted Posigen on 10/08, regarding the removal of my solar panels. After this initial call, I received an email with the next steps regarding the removal and reinstall. I waited for an invoice. After 5 days of no contact from Posigen, I reached back out to Posigen on 10/13 to determine the status of my request, who then resent the same email that I received previously, with no invoice. I called again on 10/14, and I then received the invoice for $3k. What reputable company requires you to pay in full before services are rendered? None. What reputable company requires payment directly from a customer when there is a valid insurance claim? None. I forwarded the invoice to my insurance company, who sent a check a few days later. To expedite the process, I brought the check to the Posigen office on 10/26. *** assured me that the solar panels would be removed by 11/1. This did not happen and my contractor was scheduled to repair my roof on 11/2. I called again on 11/2 only to learn that Posigen's contractor did not even have a removal request in their system. With the substantial damage to my roof, the contractor cannot start any work on the inside of my home, until the roof is repaired, which is delayed because of the solar panels. This is beyond ridiculous and by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a company! Posigen has delayed the process for me to return home and my contractor to complete my home and move on to other homes. At this point, once Posigen removes the solar panels, they can keep them.

PosiGen On the year of 2019, we the customer contacted *** to make a contract to have solar panels installed

On the year of 2019, we the customer contacted *** to make a contract to have solar panels installed. During that time a sales representative from PosiGen came out to us and explained towards the benefits of having PosiGen company installing solar panels and how many we need to see a saving for my utility bills. We were told that the Installation of 16 panels would be all our house would need in order to see savings towards our utility bill and we would see positive changes within six months of getting them installed. We agree and had the company installed them. Now we come to 2022 and I havent seen or felt a bit of any relief in my utility bill even with having solar panels installed but just another bill to pay towards Posigen. I contacted Posigen plenty of times to see if theres anything they can do in order to help us they said there is nothing they can do that they just say that the panels are up and running. We again contact them and they sent out a sales representative after being confused thinking that we were a new customer. The new sale rep told us that they underestimated the amount of panels we have on our roof theres nothing they can do and they all they can do is offer an apology. He ensure us that with another system we would be able to save in which I reluctantly agreed to do so. Days passed and we didnt hear from posigen with any news. *** reached out by email and as well a phone calls and days later my wife was contacted with a whole different story. Posigen has now change it meter read and now have a new system. My understanding from posigen is that we can rent our roof out to collect a monthly fee from utility company but I wont see anything in saving from my utilities bill and still have to pay whatever make we have to the on lease older panels and use up all my roofs . I dont believe that its beneficial to us and I believe that this another way to make the company benefit but not the actual customer.

PosiGen Payments on account

I paid them $600 on my account on 12/10, check was cashed on 12/16 and my monies to this day has never been credited to my account. We call everyday and they have stop returning my calls 14 days ago. So now I just leave messages. I have my cancel check. I have submitted front and back of said check so far I have gotten no satisfaction. I was also given a tracer number and was told by my bank that would tell Posigen exactly where the monies were applied. No response.

Desired outcome: Credit the $600 to my account and send me a receipt, and respond to my calls.
