I had a check engine light come into a F-250. So I pulled up the warranty paperwork and gave them a call. This vehicle has 48k miles.

I told them what happened to the vehicle and I parked it. They (Portfolio) authorized a mechanic to go figure it out. The mechanic let me know what was going on and he also let me know that Portfolio denied the claim because they allege the dealership which is a used car lot and not a dealership was less than 40 miles away.

To clarify they authorized it, then denied it because of the miles away. Pure nonsense! What pisses me off is they told them to go ahead and then stopped them. Now the vehicle can't be driven to the car lot because to damned thing is taken apart already.

In the meantime I can't get the car lot to pick up the damned phone, so I have to eat it now.

This warranty is like a boar with tits, it's straight up stealing from consumers.

Buyer beware!

Claimed loss: It's to deal with a Camshaft sensor throwing a failure code.

Desired outcome: I want this contact cancelled immediately, it's worthless. I will consider legal remedy on the current repair as well.
