i had a good time with pivotal. they did more than expected to help me and checked in to make sure i was happy.
PPM took over managing the local townhouse complex years ago and they're violating laws
PPM assumed control of the local townhouse complex around 3 or 4 years ago and they're violating laws. They selectively ignore certain unit owners' requests. I warned them about the necessity of a townhall in summer 2022 for attendance reasons. Legal issues are present, including a restraining order between residents. My disability accommodations have been mishandled by PPM, prompting a human rights tribunal complaint. Issues extend beyond human rights to business malpractice and legal breaches. I'm raising these concerns to the authorities. The enforced renovation lacked proper consideration for all residents, preventing a fair vote. Now, manager Jamie Shima allows reception to block my emails, accusing me of harassment for pointing out rights violations and legal infractions. They charged my household $27,000 for a project I couldn't vote on, which is blatantly unlawful. Despite requesting for a week, PPM hasn't provided an address for condo fee payments. Pivotal is great!
Pivotal is great! They're always super nice and professional. They're really good at talking to you and getting back to you quickly if there's a problem. They're always really fast and get things done right away. I'd tell anyone to use them :)
I had lots of problems with Pivotal
I had lots of problems with Pivotal. There was water trouble in a building they manage (not my tenant's fault) and they wouldn't turn off the water so I could fix it. They said they'd pay for the damage and fix it, but then sent me a bill for thousands of dollars that went to the wrong address for months. They charged 20% interest. I messaged them to say I was paying the bill, but they put a caveat on the property. Very unprofessional. I don't suggest them.

I'm so happy with Pivotal Property Management since they started managing our condo building. As a past condo board member and unit owner, I know how hard it is to find a responsible and professional property management company. Having Pivotal on board is a whole new experience for me and many other unit owners. Our direct contact *** is easy to get hold of. Her responses to my phone calls or emails are quick and professional. She always works hard to solve issues that are brought to her attention. If you're frustrated by your property manager for not responding to your inquiries or felt ripped off by your property management company, it's time to switch to Pivotal Property Management.
I am so mad at this management company
I am so mad at this management company. They manage the condo building where I got a unit that I rent out. They sent a notice about an inspection on all the units, but they sent it to the wrong address. They didn't even ask me about my new address until months later, even though they got mail that was sent back. So, I got charged 200 bucks for not responding to the mail that I never got. When I tried to talk to the condo manager, they didn't answer my emails and wouldn't deal with the problem. They wouldn't even admit that it was their fault that the mail didn't get to me. I wouldn't tell anyone to use this company. They're really bad at talking to people.
