I took a loan out with this company for a furniture purchase from Art Van. I am on a payment plan set up for once a month. I am not late, but receive phone calls at work, on my cell at home all day long from them all month long. I have no idea why, since I'm not late. I have requested numerous times and spoke with a supervisor stating not to call my employer because I can not accept personal calls (I work in Cardiology/Cath Lab at a hospital). They state they are aware I'm not late or behind in my bill payments, but they are making courteous calls to remind me of my monthly payment. The calls do not stop. I will also call the State of Michigan or the BBA too.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Pioneer Finance and Art Van Furniture's contract is misleading about their 180 same as cash option. Art Van's contract says to pay in full within 180 days from date of delivery of merchandise to avoid paying finance charges but they don't tell you this or give an address for Pioneer Finance to send in first payment. The address is not made available until after first payment is due. I will report this to the State of Michigan Better Business Bureau and I will never use this finance company or buy for Art Van.
