Perfect Home Services review: Plumbing service for water blockage & backup of black water in basement sink

Called Aqua Plumbing who advised they were now with Perfect Home Services. They dispatched two employees who examined the basement plumbing and suggested a few items they could replace for exorbitant sums. In desperation I accepted a verbal price of $1500 to rod out main line to sewer which another plumber stated he would do for $600 but declined later claiming illness. After supposedly rodding some adjacent lines to the main, they advised that the rod could not be inserted in to the main pipe due to rubble. They then stated the line would have to be dug out and cut and a substitute connected. Supposedly management estimated cost of $10,000. I declined and sought another opinion resulting in the visit of another plumber, who then was able to rod 100 feet of the main pipe. Finding that did not solve the problem he ascertained that the blockage was in a subsidiary pipe which he cleaned and water then flowed. His price for this service was less than four figures. When I called Perfect Home to complain about the amount of $616.64 I had paid them they denied any rebate.
