PeoplePerHour review: Outdated, expensive and no work for me

PeoplePerHour has been a huge disappointment and, for me, a waste of money. The website feels dated and the navigation is not the experience I expect from a paid freelance platform.

I have not received a single genuine client enquiry or won any paid work. I am not speaking for every freelancer, but my own return has been zero. In my experience, the service has offered the impression of opportunity without delivering actual business.

I am also deeply unhappy about the 12-month commitment they say applies. I do not believe that obligation was made sufficiently clear when I joined, and it is not mentioned in the signup emails I reviewed. Anyone attracted by a monthly price should check the full annual obligation before paying.

I wish I had explored Fiverr instead. I cannot say it would have produced a different result, but I regret spending money on PeoplePerHour. Based on the outdated experience, ongoing cost and complete lack of results for me, I would not recommend it.
