Pelican Parts Front lip for 997 Porsche

Part did not align must do major modifications if going to install correctly. The original installation did not align and practically ruined my bumper cosmetically. Too expensive to reship plus part was modified to try to fit correctly. Do not waste your 600$. Part are order number. [protected]-057. Please pull this part before others ruin there front bumper.

Desired outcome: Be honest about fitment; for customers do not ruin their Porsche.

This company hasn’t asked me about it and they cancelled the order. When I asked why they have done it, no one replied to my emails and questions. I continued to email them, and only 3 days ago...

Pelican Parts Bad-quality parts and moderators didn't allow to post reviews on the website

I ordered car parts from the website www.pelicanparts.com. I got horrible parts and I thought that it was already used. I tried to return them, but the seller refused and spoke with me in horrible manner. After that I went to their website and decided to post negative review. The moderators deleted it afterwards and blocked my access. These people are scammers and liars, who take money and provide bad-quality things. Please post your comments about this company.

Pelican Parts sent me the wrong lifters for my BMW M3. I was in the process of changing a head gasket and decided to purchase new lifters. Keep in mind, this was a work on it when I can project, and took several months to accomplish. I installed their lifters, which were 3 mm smaller, and ruined my cam trays. The part number I ordered was on two of the eight packages of lifters. The other eight were in a zip lock bag. I smothered them with assembly lubricant and installed them. Buttoned things up, and the engine sounded like a diesel. Revved to 3000 RPMs and still sounded bad. Did it again, thinking they need to pump up. No go. Finally, removed valve cover, and nudged the lifters...too small. Called and sales rep said we have had a suspiciously high return on those lifters and he needed pictures. I removed cams and cam tray, only to find my cam trays were destroyed. Sent pictures, and rep said wrong lifters and we will send new cam trays. WRONG! Some idiot sales manager calls me and says it's my fault for installing wrong the wrong lifters. Sending me the correct lifters, which I have not yet received, but refused to cover the cost of the cam trays. These scam artist buy parts in bulk and middle man the consumer. Sure, they have created a good website, with help articles, taken from the Bentley, but are con artist. Run away, fast, from these rip offs.

It's difficult to respond to such an obviously fake "complaint." We have a section on our website for product reviews, but those are limited to comments regarding the parts themselves. In addition, we don't block anyone from the site (we don't even have a mechanism in place to do that), so that comment is misplaced as well. We have built our 18-year reputation on stellar Customer Service and we continue to have double-digit growth and an ever-expanding customer base.
