Paws Required review: I would like a written apology.

I take my Maltese puppy to Paws Required [protected]) in Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County. I dropped him off at 8:45am on November 18, 2022. He missed his last grooming which was scheduled for October 28. He goes every 4th Friday. I called the owner Catherine, told her Kingston was Neutered. The doctor wanted him to wait until his stitches are removed to be groomed. I told her he was a little matted. She said, it was okay. The doctor removed Kingston’s stitches on Monday, November 7. I worked the elections on the 8th. We have Hurricane the same week after the removal of his stitches. So, I scheduled for Kingston to be groomed November 18,2022. They knew he was matted. She told me she would have to shave all of hie hair off. As stated earlier, I dropped him off at 8:45. She called me at 2:38pm and said, “The groomer had not started on Kingston and it’s will take 4 hours. She said the groomer can start him and you can bring him back one day next week or when she have time to finish him. I told her not start him. I said, “I’m on my way to pick him up.” Before, I could get there she quickly took hair from one of his ears and a chuck from his neck, she had not washed him. She told me that’s $25. I said you’ve only taken that small amount of hair and you’re charging me $25. I feel bad, Kingston has been going to this place since I got him in June 2020. They’re never finished when I go to pick him up. I have to wait for them to finish grooming him or take him back the next day. I told her Kingston wouldn’t be back. She to me, “Good Luck” finding someone else to groom him.
