Paramount Stays - Uxbridge
We made the reservation several months in advance and, just as we were about to board the plane to travel to London, they called to tell us that the apartment we booked was no longer available and asked us to cancel the booking ourselves.
As an alternative, they offered us a much smaller apartment, where it was impossible for the four of us to stay. The following day, they forced us to make a new booking in another apartment so that we had to sleep separated, which completely ruined the start of our holiday and caused us totally unnecessary stress.
Furthermore, the condition of the accommodation was very poor: the sofa bed was dirty, the kitchen tap was missing its handle, the curtain rod was bent and about to fall down, and there was not even a table or chairs to be able to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner normally.
The most serious issue was not just the poor condition of the apartment, but the way the booking was handled. We found ourselves without alternatives at the very last minute, right before catching our flight, and we had to accept a clearly inferior solution because we had no other choice.
I would not recommend this accommodation. The management was highly unprofessional and the value for money was very poor.
