Outdoor Adventures review: Broken promises
My husband and I got a membership from a couple and transferred it. Took the tour was told how amazing it was and listened to all the lies. We stayed one time at the Standish location and then again in 2021 we stayed at the Gaylord location. While visiting we heard rumors of them selling it. Shortly after we learned and that’s when we tried finding ways. The only location that would benefit our family was the gaylord location with most my family living in Onaway. We stayed in Gaylord for my family reunion but without the location it’s no use to us. We don’t camp local. Now trying to remortgage our house we’re battling a debt that we can’t stop, we have to pay for and a membership that is no good to us. Especially with a camper approaching their “ten year” rule. Stay away, far far away from them. Not worth the headache. Or follow some of the groups and read about the crimes that happen within their camp grounds. Not worth your life.
Claimed loss: 10,706
Desired outcome: Debt erased since the locations promised doesn’t exists.
