Elderly abuse? Wur reprasentative from dis compny came to my parents crib to check on da AC cuz it wasn't working. Da guy ain't even check da AC. He jus saw dat ice was building up on da coils, and then he said dat there was holes all ova da place. He said dat it was gonna cost $9,000 to replace da whole thing. My pops ain't got dat kinda moola, so he was gonna have to just sweat it out. Dats mad dangerous! As a worried daughter, I axed a different compny to take a look. Dey said dat there was NO holes and fixed it for just $95. These people need to go to jail for what they did!

It was not a good experience with John from Our Place Air & Home Repair. He was upset when I wouldn't let him do more work that would benefit him. He knew I was mad, so he called his office and made up stories about me not wanting to pay him. My painter heard everything and was worried about me. John wouldn't leave until my painter helped me. It was very scary. Our Place Air doesn't want me anymore because of what John said.

Our Place hooked us up with an air machine and had some probs when it got put in. Next day, they swapped out the tech (shout out to Travis ***) who was real cool and knew his way around these machines. He found the iss right away (bad wiring and relay), fixed it up like a champ, and even put some 410 juice in there. I've got some breathing issues so this was real important. Thanks to Travis for being a lifesaver and doing your job right! Bless ya! Our Place Air & Home Repair is a life-saver! They saved me like 7K which was a lot, man! So, I had another big company come to check out my A/C that's like only 8 or 9 years old. And their tech guy was there for like 3 and a half hours, can you believe that? He was telling me all these problems with my A/C, like the circuit, capacitor, fan motor, and whatever. And then said I gotta get it all replaced, even the whole electric box! That's crazy! He really wanted me to sign something on the spot too, but I asked for more info and time to read. He got kind of annoyed and said I wouldn't get the new A/C installed if I didn't act fast. But I told him I needed to think it over first. So, I thought I was just gonna have to suffer without A/C for the night. But then Our Place came and they fixed it in like 20 minute! Just a quick fix with the thermostat. Thanks, man! THANK YOU, EDDIE!

We hired Our Place Air & Home Repair to fix our AC unit and replace some of the ducts a few months ago. After two nights of running the AC, we noticed that the pump overflowed, which caused severe water damage to the floors around it. We called the company to fix it, and at first, they told us it was the Freon, but we had just had that filled, so we pointed out the pump to them. After that, they told us that the pump was too old and needed to be replaced. During the initial inspection, they didn't mention anything about the pump, only that the AC unit and ducts needed to be replaced. Additionally, we found two cut wires on the pump that weren't there before they serviced it. Before we hired them, we didn't have any water issues with the pump, even when running the AC.

i recently had my AC worked on by Our Place Air & Home Repair. The AC was bought from them last year and i didn't know i had to change the filter every month. The tech who came over to check it said the blower fan and motor didn't have the right amps due to the filter not being changed. The warranty will cover the parts but not the labor which is going to cost $378 per fan. They wanted to replace both of them but it'll be $756 in total, despite being under warranty. The tech suggested purchasing an electronic air cleaner for $999 which would only need the filter changed every three months. They also have a maintenance plan.

Summa dat air con guys from Our Place Air & Home Repair came by my mom's crib to fix her AC back in the summa of '19. Dey tried to sell her on dis 12 month service deal for only $9.95 a month so she could get a discount on da repair dat day. My mom thought it sounded good and signed up. One year goes by and boom, dat service deal renews automatically. My mom forgets to cancel it before the renewal.

Fast forward to Feb of dis year and I'm talking to some dude named Mike who says he cancelled the service deal and there'd be one last charge in March $9.95 but then no more charges. Then later in March I'm talking to some woman named Leslie Lopez and she says the same thing, that it's cancelled and no more charges.

But then on Apr 2nd another $9.95 charge hits my mom's account. I hit up Leslie again on April 3rd to complain and we still waiting for dis darn contract to be cancelled so we can get a refund and stop the monthly charges. Smh.

So I got a bone to pick with these guys at Our Place Air & Home Repair. I put down a deposit of $1400.00 for a new HVAC unit on May 29th after John gave me a quote. He told me my credit card wouldn't get charged until the following Tuesday because of a holiday on Monday. But guess what? They went and charged me anyways on May 30th.

Long story short, I decided to go with a different company and gave these guys the boot. I cancelled on May 30th and got a text message to confirm it. But, when I checked my credit card on June 15th at 1:00pm, there was no credit. That's 11 business days since I cancelled, not counting the holiday.

So I call up and speak to Jennifer, who can't find a refund request in my records. She confirms I cancelled and says she'll process the refund request now. But a few minutes later she calls me back and says the request could take up to 30 days! That ain't no good business if you ask me. I told her I'd complain to the ComplaintsBoard.com.

I bought a new AC system from Our Place Air & Home Repair in 2019. The workers spent all day installing it but left without it working properly and had to come back. They had to replace the defrost board. After a year, I bought a hard start and electrostatic air filter as a technician said our static pressure was high. In the second year, the compressor broke down and had to be replaced. The technician said a power surge might have caused it, but there was no sign of a surge on the surge protector. There was no reason for it to have failed. In the third year, the system stopped cooling, and there was a Y wire error. The technician said we had to replace the defrost board again and the Y wire. There was mold around the air handler, so the technician recommended duct replacement because of high static pressure. We called the company several times to ask why a new system needed so many replacements and asked to speak to a manager. Eddie was supposed to get back to us, but he never did. Dan called us saying he would, but he never did either. During our duct replacement, the technician told us to sign up for the lifetime membership so that any replacement parts would be fully covered. Recently, we needed to replace the capacitor, but the quality we were promised was not delivered. The managers have not provided a proper explanation or resolution for these constant issues. We spent over $20k on a system that is constantly failing and is only 3 years old.

I calld said buisness on monday eve for emergncy service on my A/C unit which wasnt coming on. I was told that a tech would be out Mon Tues between 8am-10am. Technician diagnosed system as needing a new high voltage transformer along with a harness, which they did not have the part for and was told it wouldnt be ordered until the following day and would cost $763.00. I wrote a check for the amount and was tyold the office would call to schedual the install. No call was placed to me. I called on Wed and was told the part hadn't been ordered and would have to be installed on Thursday between 12-2pm. Installers never arrived and a their office told me they were running late. I had already taken a second day off from work so the part could be installed. Tech arrived to install the part, only to find out that the system was still not coming on. I was told I would have to spend another $450 for a blower fan motor. I refused to pay them any more and called another A/C service to come diagnose the problem. The new tech told me it was a bad thermostat that was keeping the unit from coming on. He didn't need to replace the blower and got us up and running in just a few min after the new thermostat was installed. My complaint is that the techs at Our Place are not competent to be A/C techs. They only wanted more money to replace parts that didn't need replacing until it finally started to work. They were guessers, not knowledgeable techs. Do not ever call this business if you need something fixed or diagnosed on your home A/C system. I also purchased a maintenance service contract for $9.95 a month for a full year. I would like to have that contract canceled and the return of my $120.00 dollars I paid. I will never let this company work on my system again. They are not knowledgeable and skilled to work on A/C.
