Optimus review: Wrongful accusations

On or about 13 December 2021 my business quoted to install an electric fence at the residence of Frans Dreyer, owner of Optimus equipment

I received payment an proceeded to purchase the stock needed to perform the installation.

On December 15 2021 Mr Dreyer sent me a Whatsapp voice note.

In this voice note he cancelled the installation and informed me that he can't wait until the 16th of December 2021 for me to install the fence.

I did confirm that I was going to start with the installation on Thursday the 16th of December

Mr Dreyer then informed me that he has found another contractor to do the installation on Friday the 17th of December.

In the small space of time from 13th December and 15 th of December the weather was not suitable for work outdoors due to rain.

In this short period of time I had to get parts together and finish a project that I was busy with.

Taking the above mentioned in account it's clear that Mr Dreyer broke the contract by not allowing me to get his system installed.

From the agreement and payment date until the commencing date 3 days has passed until I was told not to do the work because someone else was going to do it

In light of this I will not be refunding any moneys paid to me, Mr Dreyer and his company (Optimus) was in breach of contract.

Furthermore there was no other contractor contacted to date.

The whole statement put forward by Optimus is false and misleading.

Desired outcome: Retraction of false accusations and defamation of my business and myself
