Urgent Resolution Required—OBS Accreditation and Recognition of Completed Coursework
I am writing to formally express my serious concerns regarding the status and accreditation of Online Business School (OBS) and the impact this matter has on my daughter, who has dedicated three years to completing her coursework with top academic performance.
It is deeply alarming that OBS has consistently advertised itself as being accredited by OFQUAL, while still listing QUALIFI and ATHE on its website. Such misrepresentation raises serious legal and ethical concerns, particularly in light of the fact that the qualifications offered do not appear to hold legitimate recognition under the advertised accrediting bodies.
Given the misleading nature of OBS’s claims, this situation could reasonably be classified as fraudulent misrepresentation, which may carry civil and legal consequences. If the qualifications OBS claims to provide lack validity, this could constitute a breach of consumer protection laws, and I reserve the right without predjudice to escalate this matter accordingly.
At this stage, I require clarification on how my daughter’s completed coursework may be officially recognized through an accredited Higher Education Body (HEB). I have already consulted Ofqual, Qualifi and ATHE.
I require a response outlining what steps to take to support the proper recognition of the coursework completed.
We have been trying for months now to get the diploma for level 4 and are also equally concerned about the level 5 work already completed.
Desired outcome: Having the course work completed thus far be recognised by a H.E.B. and a diploma in hand for level 4 already completed.
