As I reflect on my recent experience with News Break, I must say it was quite disappointing. The platform, which boasts of being a source of local and breaking news, fell short of my expectations. The content seemed to be filled with biased and sensationalized articles, lacking in journalistic integrity. Moreover, the comments section was a breeding ground for hate speech and racism, creating a toxic environment for users. It's disheartening to see a platform that should inform and unite people instead promoting division and misinformation. Overall, my encounter with News Break left me questioning the credibility and values of the platform.

The news itself is harmless, most of the time. But for whatever reason, the comments are dominated by conservative ogres making racist comments. Any time a black person (especially a rapper) dies, you'll see several comments about "these kinds of people" and "black-on-black violence".

If you avoid the comments, this app has some potential, but it's still not a great source.

Chinese owned, Leftist " news" always puts the US and Conservatives in spun up propaganda designed to negatively influence the uniinformed to act in support of their Left agenda.

I wanted a site that shows local news. And it does that very well. On top of that it has a wide array of news stories that I am interested in. They do not write stories but compile them and let me decide. That is exactly what I need from a news site.

News Break App can be deemed as a platform where voices - can be bigoted or not - can be heard without any reservations. The app is not quick to enforce any community guidelines nor the terms of use. It's an open forum where anyone can air their thoughts, and unfortunately, that includes racists. This platform has become a go-to place for those who want to show their intolerance towards black people and other different races. Bigoted views are shared without hesitation and are rarely met with consequences.

The News Break App is not recommended for those who are looking for a safe and inclusive space, as it's saliently clear that there's no sensitivity to those whose families have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic or if they have lost someone dear to them. The platform is a landmine for people who are innocent but are judged based on the color of their skin.

Any reports made against racists are akin to tossing a pebble into the ocean: it's unlikely to make any difference. The lack of response from News Break itself is frustrating, and it's apparent that they have not taken adequate steps towards improving their platform's inclusivity.

Recently, I read an article on how Celine Dion is dealing with spasms, which is an experience that many of us were unaware of. It is astonishing that regular TV never reported such news.

In this section, you can see both sides of an argument, and people aren't forbidden from commenting on any topic, including the vaccine. Although some comments might be disagreeable to some persons, people can choose not to respond to such comments.

Overall, Newsbreak provides a platform for true news, which might be hidden from regular news channels. It is hard to put my phone down whenever I am reading on Newsbreak as there are numerous good news stories to read. The platform is doing a great job, and I hope they keep up the good work.

News Break, in my humble opinion, is not doing a great job when it comes to handling hate-filled comments that blast Jews, Whites, and Blacks. These comments spread hatred, violence, and negative energy in the community, but News Break seems to avoid taking any responsibility to curb this issue. Instead, their reluctance to regulate these comments only fuels racial tensions and deepens the schism among people.

I have witnessed many disturbing comments filled with hate that have caused once-loving individuals to turn into racists, due to the constant exposure to negative messages. Comments that were initially created to promote love and acceptance were quickly transformed into threats and attacks on peaceful individuals. What is even more shocking is the teaming up of people to hurl insults at others based on their race or ethnicity. People are called chalky, cracker or white devils, which damages the atmosphere of the platform. A place for peaceful debate should not be used as a breeding ground for white and black supremacists to practice hate speech.

In conclusion, the platform is supposed to help people stay informed and encourage constructive discussions, but it is sad to see people using it to spread hatred. News Break needs to acknowledge this serious issue and do something about it to make the platform safer and more inclusive for everyone. The hate on all sides needs to stop, and News Break must take action to moderate the comments section properly.

I never seen such a mean, bad, hateful, racist, cruel, disgusting “news” site in my life before. The way those people talk about other people is so bad that it actually makes my heart hurt and my head spin. I downloaded News Break because I wanted to know what was going on in my community, but after seeing this stuff, I can’t keep it on my phone. If you ask me, you should just skip this site altogether. I think you’ll be glad you did.

There used to be a “report” button for when people went too far, but they took it off. I guess they like all the fighting and arguing that goes on. But they've since loosened up their process, so we'll have to see how that goes. Overall, though, I'm a fan. Been writing on Newsbreak for alomost 6 months now and boy oh boy have I got some tea to spill. They be changing their contract thrice and giving different contracts to different people. They promised me opportunities that never came and then went ahead and removed the base pay for articles from almost everyone! But, some people got to keep it. And they make it sound like no one gets it anymore! Can you believe that?

And don't even get me started on all the money juggling that happens on the site! You never know what's going to happen from one month to the next. They keep changing their minds on what they want from you too. First, they would let anyone publish. Then they decided they only wanted news. Then LOCAL news. And then HYPERLOCAL news, which is what they basically gutted the base pay over. And now it seems like they don't even want that anymore? They'll take anything they can get their grubby little paws on: news, evergreen content, and even recipe articles.

They'll only pay us now based on RPM, which means rate per mille or amount earned for every 1000 views. But they haven't told us how it's determined! I've been getting rates ranging from 2 to 11, and it seems like the more views I get, the lower the RPM. It's like they're trying to punish me for doing well!

I don't have faith in Newsbreak's operations at all. They don't have a plan for how they want the creator program to work, which is why they keep changing their minds every single month. If you want to work for a stable platform, I wouldn't recommend Newsbreak. They'll just keep you guessing and hoping for the best.

The scammer charged me for five items, including the watch, but I didn't order four of them! Luckily, I was able to reverse the charges and cancel my credit card, something not everyone can do. The app also has its fair share of rude and offensive comments. Some of the comments are hateful, sometimes even racist! It's essential to beware of these commentators and, if possible, report them to the app.

Another issue with the app is that you cannot edit your comment once you post it. If you discover an error, an omission, or a typo in your comment, your only option is to delete it.

Your writers are a joke. They review things that they know absolutely nothing about. It's evident and only makes them look outrageously stupid and uninformed. And it's insulting for them to wax poetically with reasons for trashing something (like why the Biltmore House is the ugliest house in America and completely out of place in its setting. Seriously? He/she sounded like a demented idiot blowing copious amounts of odiferous hot air). For articles like that one, I can gladly write a countering essay that will shoot giant holes through his bogus pontification.

Another example is claiming that the Blue Ridge Parkway is the most feared road in America. Compared to what? Evidently no one involved with this assessment read any facts. That road is the most visited national park in the ENTIRE COUNTRY. Over 15 1/2 MILLION people travel it EVERY YEAR. Willingly and happily. The roads to fear are the interstates under major construction, like I-26 going to Asheville. I'll bet your writer never drove that one.

And then you continually list the best town for this and the best twin for that. What and who are you paying attention to for information? I have lived or visited all over the state of NC and your writers' opinions on towns here are NEVER accurate. In the next week you'll publish another article that contradicts the first one. I have howled with laughter over your discrepancies. Your writers and editors don't verify anything or see things with their own eyes. I can't take you seriously about anything. But it appears that no one else does, either.

You only have 50-something reviews. It's because real news seekers are on to you and your rating among news providers is positively abysmal. Most people don't bother giving a review. Those who have bothered to give you a rating have it as one star.

The only reason I bothered to give one is because I'm tired of getting baited bogus articles about North Carolina. I want you to know I'm angry, and I am pulling the plug on your ridiculous "news service". Wise up and stop bottom-feeding for your readers.

Today is June 23,2023 around 12:00pm I received a email saying I received my package but I was in front of my door so I started thinking someone stole my package then I looked at the photo that the driver left and my package was sitting in front of someone else door I then called FedEx and I ask them if they could get in touch with the driver so he or she could turn around and go back and get my package well they told me they had to put a ticket in and investigate but If I called them no more then 10 minutes of when the driver left from my package why do I have to now wait 48 hours for my package to be located or whatever it is that there going to do this is not far I work hard to buy the things that I have only for FedEx to drop my package off to someone else now that person is enjoying my package that I paid a lot of money for a package that I was waiting for for my trip now I won't even have my package for my trip because they say they do not have a way to get in touch with the driver while they are driving I pray that something happens with this company because how you have all this money but you don't have a way to get in touch with the driver this is not the first time that this happened to me and I had enough with this company I hope I can sue because when I say I am stressed and been crying all morning this is really too much for me knowing that someone else is enjoying something that I worked so hard for and now I have to wait just to get a update when all the driver had to do was pay attention to where he or she was dropping my package off [protected]@hotmail.com is my email

I downloaded News Break during the start of the pandamic. This was a big mistake. Reading stories that are not true, recycled stories from years ago, stories with so many typos and worded badly, and so much more. The comments were the worse, such bad language and racism is out of control. I did have a few good debates with people who have a difference in opinion without the name calling, but that is not common. All that trolling made me feel like this app is not useful for me. So I just uninstalled it from my phone.

This site is not good. The news is almost always leaning to the left. Also, they have a part where you can sell things. I put something on there and now there's a couple people who asked about it but I can't answer them for some reason. It's the same with the app for your phone if you have an Android. I can't answer the people who want to buy my thing and it won't let me change my home to Texas. For some reason, it says I live in California even though I don't. And the weirdest thing is that the website and the app use the same account but show different cities.

So, I gave this app a try and I gotta say, it has some pretty cool features. You can actually leave comments on the articles you read, which is great because I love to add my two cents. I remember this one time when I ran into a troll who was just determined to ruin my day. He kept harassing me and dropping all kinds of nasty comments. The thing is though, I was still able to comment on his posts and I even reported him for constantly harassing a lady named Sharon and using some really offensive language. I mean seriously, who does that? Unfortunately though, it seems like even with five other people reporting him for the same thing, he was still able to get away with it.

In the end, I was the one who got blocked from commenting. I mean, what kind of logic is that? So, I decided to delete the app altogether. I just couldn't stand the thought of supporting a platform that allows racists and trolls to run rampant.

I gotta say, News Break is a pretty solid news app. I enjoy being able to get all my local and national news in one place. The only downside is the comments section. I've seen so many people complaining about the racism in there, but honestly, I think the media is just pushing that narrative. And let me tell ya, some of these commenters are just ridiculous. They call people cowards for not using their real names, but then turn around and start talking $#*! about opposing political views. It's like they have no self-awareness. And the name-calling? Don't even get me started. It's like they're trying to be The Joker of the comments section.
