I'm not one to write reviews, but working with Liam at New Life Contracting to replace our roof was a must disclose for the professionalism and ease with which he and his team made the process. From the initial claim procedure, to scheduling, to project completion I couldn't be more pleased with their work. Liam was in constant communication throughout the process, he was onsite during the project, and most importantly, he was there upon completion to do an inspection, and touch up work. I would not hesitate to recommend New Life Contracting for any roofing project, they went way beyond my expectations and the roof looks amazing! Thanks Liam and team! Chris F, Long Lake, MN

Carl and Liam was great. Carl had stopped by and asked if I had done a claim and I told him that after 2 other contractors had told us that the damage was not bad enough for a claim, I had canceled my claim with USAA. Carl convinced me to go through with the claim and USAA sent a person to look and he said that there was under $800 in damage. Carl took a lot of pictures of the damage he saw and sent it to my insurance and I got approved for a new roof and gutters. Carl was there to answer any of my questions before and after the work was completed. I would gladly recommend New Life Contracting Inc all because of the friendliness and availability of Carl when ever I needed to talk to him.

New Life Contracting performed several repairs on our house after we've got a storm damage. The project manager Joe Facente estimated all damages and helped us to filing an insurance claim for replacement of the roof, gutters and metal wraps of windows and doors. He was on site during all the steps of the project. There was three teams working on the project. The quality of materials used and the workmanship was great, the clean up was excellent. The roofing team started early morning and completed the job by the end of the day. The other team replaced all gutters and downspouts quickly and very professional. And metal wraps placed by JI Young Kim on all windows and doors are real pieces of art. Working with these great people was nice and easy. We'd highly recommended them to others.

We just had our roof replaced with New Life Contracting. Walter Smith was outstanding! He advocated for us and worked directly with the insurance company to make the entire process seamless. Walter, as well as the workers, were very professional and worked nonstop until all of the work was completed . . . tear off, new roof for our house, garage, and one out building in 1.5 days, crazy efficient and excellent work! Walter was very professional and knowledgeable. He walked us through the process step by step and was always available for questions. The work crew spent over 2 hours running magnets through every square inch on our property and it looked like they were never here when they left (except for the new roof!) I would highly recommend working with Walter and this company. We will call them if we ever need any other work done insurance claim or not.

Following storm damage to our house, NLC did great from start to finish with our new roof. Walter Collazo was with us from beginning to end of the project. He took care of the details with the insurance company, worked with us to get the right shingles for our house and was there on the day of the install making sure it all went smoothly. The team that did the install was extremely hard working and professional and did great tearing off, putting on and cleaning up. We also had siding replaced and again that day, Walter was the first person at our house to ensure the siding team was aware of garden and home items they needed to be careful working around. Walter came the next day and picked up the extra items. Walter's customer service was exemplary. He listened to all of our questions and we were able to reach him immediately with any questions or concerns we had throughout the projects.

Ted J I contacted Zak for a quote to replace the roof on our house from storm damage. He had replaced the roof for a neighbor who gave Zak and New Life Contracting an excellent recommendation. I was impressed from the beginning with Zak's thoroughness in working with our insurance company to review the damage to make sure that they took all of the damage into account. The first adjuster that came out said that there was not enough damage to exceed our deductible. I had another adjuster come out and Zak was able to show them the extent of the damage. The end result was that we got a new roof. Zak served as project manager. He was a breath of fresh air by monitoring the progress of his work crews and informing us of every step along the way. I have never experienced that level of professionalism before in the construction business. I would definitely recommend him and his company for similar situations.

We interviewed four quality and reputable roofing companies and selected New Life Contracting, Inc. They were very knowledgable about our existing roof and the condition it was in after a hail storm. Walter worked with us and provided our insurance company with detailed information on the roofs condition which contributed quality first hand evidence to the insurance adjuster so he was aware of the roof situation before his arrival The roofing company was knowledgeable, friendly, easy to deal with and flexible. They took care of permits, association requirements and installed the replacement roof to state code standards. We had to revise our schedule and they were very accommodating in adjusting the timing of the construction schedule. They did a very thorough job and provided all the top quality components to make up the complete roof system. The project was finished in less than two days. The property was left in a clean condition.

When we called our insurance company to look at our roof for possible damage, the person from the insurance company asked "Do you have a contractor?" I thought nothing of it and said "No". The adjuster came out and said there was not enough damage to exceed our deductible. However, all the neighbors were getting their roofs replaced through their insurance companies. After talking with several homeowners who used New Life Contracting, I contacted New Life Contracting to verify what I was told by my insurance company. New Life Contracting examined our house and said not only is the roof damaged, but the siding is damaged as well. New Life Contracting worked on our behalf to get the claimed reopened and the insurance company paid for our new roof and siding. Carl B. was very helpful in getting the approval from the insurance company and we would highly recommend New Life Contracting. In fact, in the future, we will contact New Life Contracting before calling our insurance company.

They came through when it mattered. We had some storm damage this spring and after shopping around with different contractors we decided to go with New Life based on passed reviews both on ComplaintsBoard.com as well as Google. Walter and Blake were a pleasure to deal with, and the roof got fixed quick. Unfortunately, soon after the roof was 'fixed' it rained hard and it because apparent that one of the seams along the roof was broken when the new roof was installed. We let Blake and Walter know the roof was leaking, and someone was out there in a few hours to work on fixing the roof. Once they eventually finished fixing the seam that had broken during the original roof repairs, they went to work fixing the damage from the water leak inside of our house (at no cost to us). They completed the work and also did they're best to try and match the paint inside and out. It's hard to find a contractor who is 'ok' to work with when this don't go as planned, but New Life worked to make us whole when our roof leaked. I would use them again in the future despite the roof leak mishap, and would recommend them to others (already have).

With manufacturer-discontinued shingles on our roof, we were a prime target for roofing contractors. We received a lot of flyers promising a new roof through insurance...gave a few the chance only to be let down time-and-time again. Several homes on our street were getting new roofs and everyone was using New Life Contracting. I spoke with my neighbors and heard only positive comments. We made contact with Carl Johnson at New Life Contracting and immediately we felt that if anyone could help us, it was him. We went through some denied claims with our insurance company, but after a storm earlier this year, I reached out again and Carl was onsite that afternoon. He jumped on the roof, identified new (and previous) damage, climbed down and we called my insurance company to start a claim while standing on our driveway. Carl made several follow up calls, attended the onsite visits by the adjusters (yes, plural), and kept us informed throughout the process. In the end, our claim was approved! Carl was quick to get the work scheduled, offered his assistance on shingle selection, and managed the gutter/guard replacement (additional claim approved)! The installation team was amazing! They worked from sunup to sundown for two solid days and did an amazing job! Quality control was in effect through the process, great clean up afterwards, and the finished product speaks for itself! We highly recommend Carl Johnson and New Life Contracting if your house is in need of a new roof!

After 2 consecutive years of hail damage, we realized it was time to look into replacing our roof, but we were procrastinating because of our bad experience with the last roof job. Along comes Carl B and Zach R, who saw our roof and stopped by to ask "what's going on?" We usually go with referrals for work around our home, but decided to listen and give them a chance (after checking ComplaintsBoard.com). I must say that they did their best to win our confidence, and we are so pleased at the beautiful roof over our heads, on-time and at estimated budget. Zach R was our primary contact for this job. He was consistently very responsive to our texts and emails (often with a wry sense of humor). He patiently made at least 15 trips to our place to assist with the many aspects of this job, including insurance claim, meeting with 2 different adjusters, and assisting with selection of materials. Zach has a good eye for design which was super helpful. He provided local shingle company Rep contact info and brought material samples for us. He was on-site daily during the 4 days to complete the project, watching out for our interests, and helping expedite the roofer's work - no task was too menial. Of course any job has it's glitches, and he was forthright with notifying us about what minor problems he did identify, and work to get them resolved ASAP. Carl B and Mark in the office were equally wonderful to work with. We would not hesitate to use the New Life team again, and have already recommended them to others.

5 STARS! My wife posted a question regarding our roof on Facebook on the neighborhood page and got a PM from Steve almost instantly. Steve and Carl came the next morning to get up on our roof and do an inspection. It didn't take long for them to find storm/hail damage on our roof and window sashes. They walked us through the process and quickly earned our trust in taking care of everything. They are very good communicators and talk to you like people. They were also very friendly to our two children. On the day our insurance adjuster came, Steve and Carl came an hour earlier to have everything chalked to make sure the adjuster didn't miss anything. Carl also went on the roof with the adjuster to assess the damages. About a week later we received our claim and were very pleased. Carl told me I should be doing a “Happy dance". Sorry, not much of a dancer. After seeing the claim Carl put us on the schedule to get our roof done. We actually got it done on a week we were on vacation. Neighbors were sending us pictures left and right because they were so impressed with the work that was done. WE LOVE our new roof. Steve and Carl made the whole process smooth and easy. We couldn't be more happy with the services they have provided us. We would recommend New Life Contracting to anyone needing roofing, siding, gutters, windows and more. Working with New Life Contracting was a great and pleasant experience. Our project manager Zach did an outstanding job helping us through the entire process. Just for reference my wife and I had an insurance claim due to a hail storm that came through. During this claim we were able to get our roof, window wraps, and siding replaced. So they did a good amount of work with multiple site visits. Having that said, I want to highlight some key items that Zach and New Life Contracting did that made our housing improvement process such a wonderful experience. 1. Zach was available from the beginning of the project. He even offered to help talk to the claim representative. During our claim inspection, Zach showed up to point some key damage areas to our adjuster. He then worked directly with our adjuster to process the approval. 2. New Life Contracting took care of the entire clam process by talking directly with my insurance. They told me what was covered, what was not, and how much it may cost. They are very transparent in this and I later verify this with my insurance agent. 3. Zach was patient and helpful during our material selection process. He made great recommendations based on his experience and made multiple trips back and forth in order to get us our desire samples. 4. New Life Contracting always keep my wife and I updated on what was going on. They informed us of delays, who was coming to do the work, and how long it would take. So all in all I felt they did an excellent job. There weren't any run arounds, aggressive tactics, or hidden cost. I would definitely recommend New Life Contracting for your housing needs.
