Netim review: Domain registration

I purchased a couple of domains. I chose NETIM because the domain comes with 1 free email address. This is one of the most convenient services they provide.

However, I must say, the webmail (Roundcube) might not work as you expect. I experienced an error on email filtering. I contacted Netim as the hosting provider is the one the end-users should contact in case the errors occur.

Their customer support replies in a timely manner, but ICANN policy might not always be fully understood and accepted here. ICANN stated that the domain buyers are not subject to any misleading ads, and the domain sellers are supposed to meet the consumer law where the buyer resides.

From the description of Netim's website, I thought the webmail service was fully functional and I was able to obtain an appropriate support if I need one.

Unfortunately, the emails I received from one of their support agents, AdrianM, were a little emotional and that made me harder to understand what he/she tries to explain. As he/she recommended me to use external servers if the webmail does not work, I filed a refund request. If I get money back, I can purchase the extra server like I was advised. Then, I was also told that the domain would be disabled if my refund request or chargeback is processed.

Later on, I received an email from the third - party payment gateway. I am happy to report that my refund has been approved. I also get contacted by Netim that they fixed the error, but unfortunately that was after my claim was approved.

Netim's products has been stable to use in the past couple of years, and my domain is still alive. However, I feel sorry that I had to reply to their emails that strongly requested me to remove the review I previously wrote.

I appreciate all people who worked hard to fix the issue and would like to state that I did not mean to interrupt a holiday in France.
